I know this is a relatively new sushi restaurant and they are certainly trying very hard. The service and wait staff were terrific, including the sushi chef who explained the Omikase very carefully. I am from New York, and compared to the good Omikase sushi places in Manhattan, this sushi was mediocre at best, and truthfully rather poor. I hear that the owner is Thai and owns numerous restaurants, putting his heart and soul as well as quite a bit of money into this one. If he wants to understand what excellent sushi is all about, I suggest he take a flight to New York and go to Sugarfish on East 20th street and Sushi Seki for Omikase on First Avenue. He will learn quite a bit from these two sushi greats. Only then can he really begin to understand the differences between an excellent sushi experience and a bad one. My only compliment is that the sushi looked good with its toppings and additional flavors, but the rice was horrible and the construction of the nigiri was unprofessional. Sorry to tell you, but I am hoping you listen to me and go see what real great sushi is all about...and bring it to Florida!!! read more

This restaurant is so sophisticated and well managed. The staff and manager were very attentive to our needs constantly and making sure we were satisfied. My favorite part of our meal was the pan fried lobster shrimp gyoza (which I unfortunately ate so fast I didn't take a picture of). I went for the miso ramen since I do not like sushi, but I ended up eating some of my husband's "over the moon" roll. That's how you it's well made! Ganzo Sushi is my new go to spot! It is elegant and great for a date night and also to just come get some amazing sushi! Customer service is spot on and the best I've had. Kevin is the manager here and had an amazing recommendation of the "Over the Moon" sushi roll and it was one of the best sushi rolls I've had! I also had the tonkotsu ramen and also one of the best. To finish the night I had the lava cake. 5 star experience and I'd recommend Ganzo to anybody. I look forward to coming back! read more

We've been to Ganzo twice in the past 6 days, so that should tell you something! Both times we sat at the bar - Nat is fantastic - and were there during happy hour (the Japanese Peach martini and the mojitos are super tasty). We've now eaten everything on the happy hour menu, and it's all great - standouts are the pork belly bao buns, the k popshrimps, the tako panko, and the spicy cauliflower. The tuna tataki and spicy tuna roll are great, and we are looking forward to trying the ramen and the poke and everything else! read more

We and friends of ours have been going to Ganzo almost every week for several years. The last time we went the waitress was so rude I will never go back. When it came time to give a tip, I was making a custom tip and she started to yell at me And said service wasn't good enough for 20%. This idea that you need to pay with the server want you to pay and doesn't take into consideration the quality of service you're getting is to me unthinkable. I must admit that I like the food, and until this point have always been treated Reasonably well. We go to the seas and lemon grass on a regular basis, but as I say, I will never go back unless I recieve an apology. read more

My brother ordered from here on Uber eats and when the food arrived we were disgusted at the quality. We spent $200 and threw it all in the trash. The beef bao bun meat is gray and has a rainbow sheen, the toro has specks all over it and is so thick, the lo mien chicken doesn't even look like real chicken and the noodles are sticky and stuck together. This sushi is GREAT! I moved to Boca during the quarantine so it was tough to find any sushi places that were open. The reviews were great, but they are always a bit hard to judge (sometimes reviews can be for hibachi or Chinese but their sushi can be pretty weak). I was impressed. First, curbside delivery was done by someone in gloves and a mask, which is much appreciated for the time. But mostly, this is some top-notch fish. Their sashimi was fresh and delicious, and the rolls were great. I was also a fan of their gyoza, and want to try some of their other offerings like Korean fried chicken and their ramen. The restaurant is Instagram worthy , so much thought went into the menu and the restaurant and the sitting area and the chairs are stunning . Such a beaut place . The reason I gave it one star is because if the two waitress , it was nothing to do with us she was like this with everyone they she served , she really hates working there and you can tell she throws everything at you , the drinks , the food everything , even the chopsticks I have never ever seen anything like this in all my life . She is so mean and rude , I would advice anyone coming to wear a helmet because of the waitress , i was trying to think is the a new concept of a restaurant where they throw things at you. Our first here and we made it in time for Happy Hour. We decided to venture up to Delray Beach because we knew this was a part of the Lemongrass Restaurant group so it had to be good! Happy hour prices were good and the food was delicious. We tried a handful of things on the menu, our favorites were the Spicy Cauliflower and the K Pop Shrimp. The K Pop had a nice twist to it with the pineapple. The wok charred edamame was really good, better than your typical edamame. The tuna pizza and the bao buns were also goo, but nothing unique about them. The restaurant itself was decorated nicely, spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. A great place to go if you're in a group and undecided on what you want to eat bc the menu is extensive: sushi, noodles, fried rice, poke bowls and the list goes on! read more

We started coming to Ganzo before the pandemic. It was a hit and miss so we stopped coming when the pandemic started. We gave it another try at the beginning of this year and we have been coming back since. Food is consistently good. We usually come for the lunch special which is available 7 days a week. I've gone to dinner there several times since the restaurant opened and it quickly became my favorite dinner & happy hour place in the area. All the waiters/ waitresses that I've had is knowledgeable about the menu, always presents us with specials, popular orders and offer a great selection of wine. Every single thing I've ordered so far has been fantastic. Among my favorites are : salmon carpaccio, lobster and shrimp Gyoza, chicken miso ramen, miso seabass and the salmon poke bowl. Service was bad. Waitress didn't know what came with the meal. She said it was daikon but the meal was served with ginger, quite a big difference. We ordered Braised Korean Short Ribs. What was served looked like lamb shank but tasted like very bad pot roast. It was inedible and was left on the table when we left. This is an Asian restaurant but for some reason they have not figured out it is difficult to eat rice with chopsticks on a flat plate. The grilled cauliflower was good but the greens had woody stalks and these were also left on the table. When we got home she vomited everything back up. Definitely not a good place to eat. read more

Their outdoor seating situation is really favorable during Covid. Not only do they have heaters outdoors for the frigid Florida winter nights but the spacing for the tables outside seems adequate. Many restaurants in Florida have outside seating but compromise that by cramming the tables close together. They really provide a good situation to eat outside if you believe in things like facts and science and pandemics. Hats off. Giancarlo was our waiter. He's great, pleasant and effective. The edamame has actual flavor. Seaweed salad was pretty standard which is fine. Hard to make that spectacular. We got a pad Thai shrimp which was pretty good and we had the shrimp on the side which was helpful for someone in our party who doesn't eat shrimp. Was there last Saturday with a group of 15. Made reservation two weeks ahead. Art is the manager and was very professional. We arrived and were greeted with our table reserved, inviting two bottles of wine. The experience was perfect. The dusges were creative, well plated, fresh and delicious. From the rice bowls, to the sushi, shirt ribs, chirasi, each dish was ample, well prepared and succulent. Sushi lovers loved it. Others who preferred the Korean dishes were happy. Thank you, Art! Horrible waste of money. Maybe our first mistake was not getting the sushi but the food was so bland with no flavor! my husband had the five spice duck Ramen again no flavor and very tough duck! 5 spice you think would have some flavor! Very faint! I had the Yaki udon as you can see from the pictures it even looks bland dry no sauce. And I specifically asked the server what dish that had a lot of vegetables she said this had so many. Broccoli squash carrots peas. Have been there a number of times. Although there can be some confusion at the door as personnel is changing as labor shortages are affecting all restaurants. They seem to be as accommodating as possible. Owned by the Lemon Grass group they know their sushi and their chefs are excellent presenters. BUT, the food is terrible! Terrible! I was with my dog, below are the food I ordered 1. Miso soup- SALTY! Very SALTY! the seaweed was not well prepared, it is still little dry, and hard to chew! 2. Teriyaki Chicken and Rice: It is hard to tell how they cooked the chicken breast, doesn't look like fresh cooked, definitely not grilled, Teriyaki sauce was aside, just a plain brown salty and sweet sauce. And the rice, for an Asian restaurant, I never be able to imagine the rice can be cooked so poorly. Definitely put too much water , doesn't look and smell like fresh cooked. Might re-heated from left over. 3. Chow Fun with Beef : it is always my favor dish at any other Asian restaurant , but very disappointed at Ganzo, it is definitely not sauteed but rather just mixed with brown sauce with no other flavor but salt ! Every thing is just dark brown, beef is not fresh cooked, just warm, looks like boiled, noodles are all stick together, middle layers of the noodle are still white color and COLD! 4. Rainbow sushi: Since all these dishes are terrible, but I am still really hungry, since I have no food at home, I ordered rainbow sushi to go. I think it is the only dish not too salty, eatable, but the rice they use is not sushi rice, very soft, no taste, and fishes are not good either. It is very disappointed meal, I don't know how they are going to survive if they don't serious consider improve their food. Will never recommend any friends to go there even though it is so close to where I live. I truly wish they can serve good food, since it is so convenient for me.
