Dave arrived on time, he worked efficiently and answered any questions I had. He explained the work he was doing and why he was doing it. Afterwards he showed me the maintenance I had to do and what to look out for if the garage door became unbalanced. The pricing is very reasonable. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to people. The only thing I would mention is that the old equipment removed they do not take. I actually didn't end up using Garage Door Basics. However, I am writing a five star review based on my experience with them. I contacted them about the fact that my garage door wasn't opening when I used the remotes. I wasn't sure if there was something wrong with the unit or with the remotes themselves. We bought our house in 2016 and the garage door opener and remotes look really old! John was kind enough to suggest I go to Home Depot and purchase a universal remote to see if that would fix the problem first. He said if it didn't then he could come and take a look at the unit and return the remotes. Most vendors would've taken advantage of this and come and said that I needed a whole new unit. i'm easily talked into anything. John was honest enough to steer me in a cheaper direction first. This ended up being the right thing to do. I Purchased the universal remote, and that fixed my problem. When I do need a new garage door unit, I know exactly who I'm going to call!
