Our ancient door opener finally failed, so we needed a replacement. Dave quoted me some Chamberlain models at different price/feature points that seemed reasonable in comparison to online stores. He then came out to do a quick inspection of the existing installation to confirm my choice would work before setting up the appointment. He was very communicative with texts and email throughout, and he showed up in his appointment window ready to go. The work took a few hours and seems clean and solid. He did some custom metal work to craft some support structs that worked with our weird roof joists, and he clearly knew what he was doing throughout assembly and installation. The opener works great and has had no problems since installation. I only have two minor nits of feedback. One is that the model # of the opener doesn't match the one in the quote, but the features are the same and AFAICT it's only that the manufacturer has updated their model numbers. The other is that he doesn't dispose of the the old opener, so I need to work with the trash company to come collect the long rail & screw - no big deal, but would be nice to know ahead of time.
