Decent local chain, and it sure hit the spot for my first NM meal visiting this year. Bless them for their prices in 2025, and honestly, I'm still full 6 hours later. Everybody behind the counter was super friendly, and the place was spotlessly clean. We were in and out in less than a half hour--to be able to skedaddle for a food coma nap after a morning of shopping. Every delicious Adovada square was filled for this non-local...

If you're in a rush, this is the spot. This is my go-to when we need to pick up dinner. The food tastes homemade. The amount of food you receive is also very large. I usually have enough for two meals. My go-to order here is the combo plate (cheese enchilada, tamable, and taco with rice and bean. Also so includes sopa or tortilla).

This place is a STAPLE and a total gem. It is always my go to place whenever I come into town. Carne Adovada plate or burrito or just buying the pint by itself is the best way to go. GET THE TORTILLAS, even if you get 2 they are large enough to share. This place was busy busy at like 11am, but people eat quick enough that after you order there's a table inside. If not, there is a few tables outside too. Service was friendly and fast. Free refills on drinks! I got the Arnold Palmer and it was yummy.

    Festive interior.

Garcia's Restaurant chain is an Albuquerque tradition for good reason. Generous portions of mighty tasty food at reasonable prices make them a winner in my book. Staff has proven to be consistently friendly and accommodating. While I usually get fajitas or combo plates from the other Garcia's around town, on this first visit to the location on Indian School Rd just east of Wyoming Blvd I went the Indian Taco route, with a mid-size glass of horchata as hydration of choice. I chose whole (vs refried) beans and green (vs red) chile for the Indian Taco. It was all good and all too soon all gone. They're definitely on my radar as a necessary stop next time I'm in this area.

Punished for ordering LESS food. Photos attached to make up your own mind. One, yes that's 1 egg with no meat I will never spend my, or my clients money at that restaurant chain again. And living in NM, there's plenty of options.

Ordered the stuffed sopapilla. The beef had zero flavor. Beans and rice were okay. Overall everything was just decent. Nothing great

This was my first time in New Mexican restaurant. I am so satisfied I chose Garcia's Kitchen. We dropped by early in the morning for breakfast. They also have drive thrus. You order at the counter and the server brings the food at your table. The restaurant was almost quiet and not so noisy. The server greeted us and was very patient with our order. We were new to the place so she was very helpful suggesting us what to try. We ordered Breakfast burritos and Sopapilla with egg and bacon. Trust me the food was good. We were so curious about trying Sopapilla first time that the server got us plain Sopapilla to try for free. It was hot, fresh out of fryer. Tasted heavenly with honey. Am an amateur with New Mexican style of food but I think I can say the food here tasted good. Overallsome experience! Highly recommend. Ambience- Casual Food- Good Washroom and space- Clean and not so noisy Price- $10 per person Customer service- The best

Chicharróne burrito w/red. Ask for beans inside. Trust.

Garcia's is one place on my list that we must go to when I go home. My mom is in love with the bean and chicharrón burrito. If you just ask for the chicharrón burrito you will get just that, make sure you ask for beans. I had an Indian taco which was goodish. Everyone in general liked the food but I have to say that the red chili is not hot at all. Not even a little bit of spice so if that's what you like then order it. Personally, I like spice to my red chili but it was still ok. We were a big group and we were accommodated very well. The ambience was cute because it was right before a balloon fiesta so they had balloons everywhere. I would recommend that you go there especially if you have a low spice tolerance. The chicharrónes are absolutely delicious. The sopapillas are too thick but I remember them being better. I have not been here in about 10 years so maybe it was just an off day for them.

    AMAZEBALLS!! This hit the spot!!

Thank the heavens Louis took control of this Albuquerque Garcia's Kitchen location, he is bringing back how this business was found on, exceptional fresh & flavorful New Mexican cuisine and the greatest down to earth hospitality, give this man a heavy raise. Folks Garcia's got game again!!

Common guys your better then this. This place has always been good but the first time we use door dash since we can't leave our house at the moment it was really bad. My wife already ate the enchiladas so I didn't get to post a picture but they were just laid flat and were cold and honestly the tortillas were hard. This has never happened before very disappointing.

First time here after moving to the neighborhood! I'm looking forward to my chicken burrito!

Poor choice for dinner. Watery green chili. Rellenos was soggy. Tamale was acceptable.
