Just like everyone else mentioned here. I had a fantastic experience at Gelataio. Selections: you can choose small(1-2flavors), medium(1-3flavors), and large cup(1-4flavors). Great varieties. Flavors: Glad they have the standard flavors (double chocolates, pistachios, hazelnut etc.), vegan (strawberry, lemon, etc.) and keto chocolate(which only available in whole tins at this time). I can taste the fresh quality ingredients. The waffles you can choose either dip in dark chocolate or milk chocolate. I love how they sanitize the surfaces constantly and offers contact free payments(no cash). The girls in the front are tentative and nice. I almost always find parking right on Laurel Street, but otherwise, there's a spacious parking lot right behind Gelataio where I always find space especially if it is a Sunday morning with the Farmer's Market happening too. The large cones at Gelataio are hand made and so fresh and delicious. You can also stop by for an incredible espresso, hot cocoa, and much more. The best part of Gelataio besides the gelato are the servers, who appear to be carefully hired using extraordinarily high standards and are friendly, polite, highly intelligent, and cheerful. They have several unique flavor options on the menu and it seems that they probably will rotate through their selection pretty consistently to introduce new options. I decided to go with a small cup with stracciatella and pistachio while my husband went with their cajeta caramel bar. The gelato was sweet but not overly so, and the flavors really popped. We absolutely loved the Mini drumsticks. If you love Nestlé drumsticks like we do, we found that Gelataio's were far more superior than Nestlé's especially with their in-house chocolate and gelato. I especially appreciated that a good portion of the cone had the solid milk chocolate center, which is the best part of a drumstick if you ask me. I also really enjoyed the gelato Popsicle. Super delicious gelato can be found here! I was super skeptical about coming here since I usually do not care much for gelato, but Gelataio really blew my mind (and taste buds). I loved that their gelato had a nice texture to it, and have a ton of flavor. We came in after a late lunch, and it wasn't that busy around 2pm on a Thursday. They had about 10 different flavors, and 3 additional vegan flavors. We sampled a couple of flavors each before committing, and we tried: -Pistachio: Yum, lots of nutty pistachio flavor and it also had really small pieces of pistachio nuts throughout the gelato. It had the perfect hint of saltiness to it- highly recommended! -Hazelnut: Also delicious, and excellent flavor, but a little too creamy for my liking. -Dark Chocolate: Again, great flavor, and very chocolate-y. I'm not a big fan of pure chocolate desserts though, and wouldn't order this as a flavor. -Watermelon: This was one of their vegan flavors, and super refreshing.
