Nice gelato shop right on the main drag on Coronado Island. Great for a hot summer day since they have a nice air-conditioned interior. Good selection and large scoops of handcrafted gelato. Freshly made waffle cones. Flavors are always changing and you can see the daily menu on their website.

Gelato paradiso is easily one of my favorite ice cream shops ever!!! I love visiting, the service is good and I just love the shop!

Flavor options were good. Had decent selection of vegan options. In the heart of the strip of businesses along Orange Ave. Parking was tough around 5pm. Service was friendly. Ambiance was nice, nothing special mainly just looking out at the other shops around. Felt very small inside. Overall, there's a lot of other options in the area that are similar. Affogato was very unappealing. I'd recommend going for the ice cream over it. Prices were a little expensive but everything in the area is very on par. Good but not great. ***3 Stars***

Biscotti e crema (cookies n cream) gelato and caffe (espresso) gelato in a waffle cone

For sure the best gelato in Coronado! Workers are always friendly, free samples, cute and clean shop. Also very generous portions no matter what size you get! Recommend the caffe (espresso), biscotti e crema (cookies n cream), tiramisu, and doppio ciocolatto (double chocolate) gelato flavors.

Gelato Paradiso had quite the selection of fresh gelato. We were greeted, and shown the newest flavors of the week. The woman who helped us was patient as we tried nearly every flavor. I went with the mango flavor and it was the perfect blend of tart and sweet! The gelato is more on the pricey side but worth the price! They have indoor and outdoor seating with minimal decoration.

Located in Coronado. Place was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. So many flavors to choice from. What was great is that you can sample the flavors. That made it very helpful when choosing what you want. Got the shake, affogato, gelato, and sorbetto. All were good and enjoyed them all. Really liked the sorbetto flavors. Very refreshing. Only street parking. Be careful because it is along the main road. Can't wait to come back and try other flavors.

Must go to their shop in Coronado. I tried their gelato for the first time at the Yelp event. They had a little kiosk right when we entered the event. The gelato was rich, creamy and flavorful. It melted smoothly in my mouth. One of the best I've had. I had the caramel flavor. The scoopers were friendly and interacted well with the Yelpie crowds. Excited to stop by soon at their shop.

I tried the blackberry chocolate chip gelato at a Yelp event and it was incredible. So creamy, rich, and full of flavor--I couldn't stop eating it. Definitely planning to stop by the shop soon to try more of their flavors!

Delicious freshly made Gelato in beautiful Coronado Island. This place a large selection of gelato, which made it difficult to select the right combination of flavors.

Great customer service. Taste testing available. Plenty of flavors to choose from. Dairy free options too. You can get up to 4 flavors on the cups. Tried the pumpkin, salted caramel, and cookies and cream. My fav was the pumpkin but they all three were pretty delicious. A few seats outside of the shop to sit at. If you're looking for a dessert shop give this place a go, you will not be disappointed

Our daughter got a sorbet that she was happy with. We're certain of one thing: it's better than the crappy dessert we would have surely gotten at Serea had we stayed there.

My friends and I were just looking to get a coffee in Little Italy, but when we walked in and saw all the delicious treats we had to try something else as well. I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The latte was good, and my friend bought a kitchen sink type cookie with chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. It was warm and gooey good! Another friend tried the gelato and said it was very good. There are a few tables inside and tables out in front outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful San Diego weather. The decor and tables definitely gives you an old school Italian neighborhood vibe with Italian markets right next door. If I am in the neighborhood again, I would definitely come back here to try the gelato and/or a piece of an excellent looking lemon pie bar I spotted.

From the staff to the ice cream to the ambiance in MooTime Creamery, I was impressed and would certainly consider making it back again in the future. A friend of mine from San Diego came to meet me on Coronado on a weekday afternoon, and we went for a walk along Orange. I noted the MooTime Creamery and how I had always wanted to stop by to see how the ice ream and experience were. We got in line, which moved rather quickly. We were inside before we knew it, and eventually were able to see the menu and place an order at the counter. My friend and I both ordered a Little Moo in a cup, which included two scoops. I choose two flavors: Stracciatella and Coffee. My friend ordered two scoops of the July flavor of the month Two Five Zero Swirl, which swirls together raspberry ice cream with raspberry compote, blueberry ice cream with blueberry compote, creamy vanilla, and starry sprinkles for a festive Fourth of July flavor. We both thought the ice cream choices we made were tasty! Unfortunately, being a hot summer day, there wasn't anywhere near the MooTime Creamery to sit in the shade or inside, so we had to walk for a bit to find a shady place to stand and eat our ice creams before they melted. The prices were reasonable being on Coronado. Even though, I used a Buy One Get One Free coupon through Entertainment.com to get one of our ice cream cups for free. I then learned that MooTime Creamery has a loyalty program where you can earn discounts and also receive an annual $5 birthday reward. Learn more about this at https://bluebridgehospitality.com/bbh-loyalty-program. There are also military discounts with 20% off on Mondays and 10% off every other day. Learn more about MooTime Creamery at https://mootimecreamerysd.com. You can see their menu and custom cakes, find out about catering, buy merchandise and gift cards, and find directions. You can also sign up for their Moosletter. The location is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM. I look forward to returning again when I return to Coronado in the future! I recommend it to others.

There was hardly anyone in line when we walked in, but by the time we got our gelato and turned around, the line was out the door! I travel to Italy regularly for work, so I've had my fair share of authentic gelato. I have to say, the quality and flavors here were outstanding. Rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. What made the experience even better was the staff. One of the employees was incredibly friendly, energetic, and genuinely passionate about the gelato. He encouraged us to sample flavors, asked what kinds of flavors we enjoyed, and made thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. It felt like talking with a wine sommelier--someone who truly understood flavor and wanted us to find the perfect match. You could tell he genuinely loved his job, and that enthusiasm made the whole experience even more memorable. We took our gelato outside, sat at one of the sidewalk tables, and spent the evening people-watching. It was the perfect way to end a beautiful San Diego night. The shop itself is casual, with just a few seats inside and several tables outside. It's a great stop whether you're on a date, out with friends, or enjoying a family night in Little Italy. Definitely a five-star experience. I'll be back the next time I'm in San Diego.

The decor and setting is cute and quirky, including cow sculptures hanging upside down from the ceiling. There were only a couple other visitors when we arrived, as it was near opening time. Our dishes took a whopping 35 minutes to be ready, and service was not very friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the music playing through the speakers added a nice vibe to the place, songs like Our House by Madness and Can't Fight This Feeling. We ordered the brunch pizza (with eggs cooked overeasy) and the breakfast flatbread which looked almost identical when served, as well as an iced mocha. The quality of the pizza was pretty average, and the eggs were slightly overcooked. The drink was really good, made fresh, with a smooth taste and a nice sweetness to it, the plastic cup coated in chocolate sauce. It tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee, which I personally enjoyed. They typically serve gelato here, but it would not be ready till almost two hours after opening time. So no milkshakes or cold desserts were available in the morning this past Sunday (no worries, Ghirardelli is just a block away). I appreciate the variety of menu items offered here. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. Even though our recent visit was somewhat disappointing, I still gave 3 stars, assuming this was an off day for them.
