Expect a very local vibe when arriving. I ordered the Cowboy Fries which was listed as waffle fries with cheese, chili, and bacon. My girlfriend ordered Pierogies which was listed as cheese with fried onions. When we got our food they were indistinguishable. Over the last year this restaurant has been hit or miss. I am a local resident and have gone to this location over the last 20 years. Few different owners. This is the worst yet. I have not had a good mixed drink from the new staff. I asked if the long island ice tea was premixed because I don't like that I was told no, if that drink wasn't premixed it sure tasted like it. I took 1 sip looked at my husband and said yuck second sip wasn't any better. I don't like to complain so I took a third said to my husband I can't drink this, when I told the waitress she told me the owner won't take the drink back if it is half drank. So this bar has changed ownership and the burgers are amazing. The ladies who answer the phone are always polite. I can't review what it's like to dine in the bar since I only do takeout but it seems like it could be a tight fit on busy nights. I should probably try other things on the menu but the burger is so wonderful I always go back for it. The new owners put it on a delicious soft artisan bun and make the largest burger I've ever ordered. My husband ordered the pulled pork tonight and that was pretty good too. One of these days I'll try something else on the menu. If I had one complaint it would be going to the back of the bar to pick up takeout. When the bar is crowded you feel like you have to nudge people out of the way coming and going. read more

Ive dined here multiple times and there seems to be a long and slimy trail that is all over the floors inside that i predominantly notice is behind the bar. There is also a trail that leads out of the building thatbheads bear the post office. I cant put my finger on it but I only notice it during the day. Its almost as if it looks like slug slime. It carries a weird smell like old garbage and makes it hard to keep an appetite for any of the food. read more

Nice place very clean but tables are a little close. We ordered a pizza and fries. Fries were great steak fries. Pizza was greasy and didn't have any sauce. Crust was thin and tough. Been coming here for years since it was Vitales. Nice convenient place close to home. The recent change in management is terrible. The staff is good but the food is turning to cheap garbage. They changed something with the pizza along with many other items on the menu. The turkey wrap used to be fresh turkey breast as advertised but now it's something that I don't think Wawa would use. The nachos used to be a nice pile with everything on them but that changed to cheesy cheap thin chips they break as soon as you try to pick them up. As for drinks stick to beer. Placed an order for pickup. They told me 20 minutes. Went to pick it up 40 minutes later. When I got there twice they told me it would be a few minutes. After 25 minutes waiting there they told me there was a computer glitch and they were just starting to make the food. Asked for a refund. Never again!!!! read more

Our most recent and last visit we learned that both our favorite server and our favorite band would no longer be there. Went there for lunch today. Ordered the cajun chicken sandwich. The sandwich came out and looked great. The fries were cooked well. Upon taking a bite of the chicken sandwich I noticed the chicken was raw! I called over the bartender to tell her. She said she was sorry and took the sandwich back to the kitchen. She said that the cook would prepare me a new sandwich. After about a five minute wait the sandwich came back with the thicker part of the chicken breast which was raw cut off. Obviously they didn't prepare a new sandwich only put new lettuce tomato & onion on the same piece of chicken. This is unfortunate because I had enjoyed this sandwich several times before. Been here twice but won't ever go again. Food is mediocre, layout is really awkward with the bar taking up roughly 60% of the total floor space to the far right, giving the bartenders enough room to basically do yoga and practice karate moves while they work. Bathroom had a hand dryer that made a dollar store fan feel powerful. I live a half mile down the road and won't even bat an eye at the place although I'm not much of a bar goer anyway. Love the Saloon! The bartenders and waitresses are all young and super friendly. They have a great beverage selection and the menu is just right. Definitely nothing fancy here. Good ole bar food with great pizza. It's a place where you'll meet some local characters taking a break from their motorcycles to the Polish soccer team out for some brews... or people heading back home from Raceway Park or the Auction. Our table of three ordered two of the pizza specials, order of nachos, a chicken cheesesteak with fries (To Go) and two sodas. The service was slow which was ok because we weren't in any rush. When it came time to ask for our check and to go box the waitress informed us that "technically you can't take home any pizza because its an eat in special and you have plenty left over." Why didn't she state that when we placed the order? After we conumed a few more slices she came over with our check and two boxes to go. Very good pizza and fresh and clean taps. Food: Pizza was very good, but skimpy on the pepperoni. Price: $9.95 for a small pepperoni pie. That's a little pricey. Service: Friendly. Atmosphere: Obviously not upscale, but that's the point. Went too early in the day to get a feel for the crowd. Drinks: Full bar. Taps are great! Rarely do you get fresh tasting tap beer in the beginning of the day, but you do here. I wish the pizza was a better value, but nothing is perfect. I will be back. This is one of my favorite lunch spot. The food is always delicious. Service has always been impeccable. As for Jammies S's review, it is pure bullshit! She sounds like the type of person who has a Jerry Springer lifestyle who would suck a multitude of dicks just to pay for a pack of cigarettes and beer money. Sue is the main reason I and many other go to eat there. She always has a smile and a kind word. If she's rude to you it's because you have done something to her. She runs that place like a well oiled machine. Also been there for the night shift especially during game night. They are fantastic.
