Sweet & Sour Chicken and fried rice/
Chris B.

This is the worst sweet and sour chicken I've ever had the privilege of throwing away! And the fried rice is disgusting! Absolutely no pineapple or peppers, nothing but fried greasy chicken & some weird orange sauce that taste like burnt plastic. One and done!

Look how black the exterior side walk is. Has it ever been scrubbed?

Cleanliness matters! The same dirty patio seating, nasty entrance area. Take a look at the rear. Sometimes you can see inside.

Mongolian Beef, Fried Rice and Dumplings
Alexandra G.

Our favorite local Chinese delivery spot! My favorite dishes include the Mongolian Beef and Spicy Szechuan Beef. The beef here is really tender and cooked perfectly. The only thing that's pretty mid, is the fried rice. There's nothing in it! Just plain rice, and it's bland. No onion, and Itty bity pieces of egg. If you mix the rice with your entree, it's all good :)

This is a Typical takeout spot. They have reasonable prices and you get a nice bit of bang for your buck. There is free parking and it's around a somewhat busy intersection, but you will have no issues as to finding a place. There are some outdoor seats so you can be outside of need be. On the inside, they have a couple of tables there but don't think this is going to be a place for a large group or a date night. Chicken wings (lemon pepper) - The wings were pretty good. They weren't really big in size but they actually gave me extra wings. Which really helped LOL. They were a season. Pretty good though. I would get them again. Pork egg roll - I only got one, but that joint was superior! Cooked perfectly well and golden brown and had a lot of flavor to it! I wish I got a bag of those lol. Fried jumbo shrimp - The jumbo shrimp is okay. I probably would not do it again. There was actually more breading than there was shrimp. You might see a really big shrimp but it's not all shrimp under there. Hunan double (chef special w chicken and shrimp) - This was a pretty good dish. I got mine with fried rice. It did not have a lot of kick or Tang to it, but it was pretty good overall. If you look at the little chart, you assume that if it has a pepper next to it that is going to be a little spicy but mine was not. But it was very savory regardless. This was a good spot for a quick pickup. You probably won't have to wait, but I would still suggest ordering online.

Orange Chicken
Tevin S.

I ordered the Orange Chicken through the Too Good To Go app and it was horrible. The chicken didn't taste like chicken nor did it have the texture of chicken. I thought I could at least eat the rice but even that was unbearable. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I think the business should hear about it. The guy that rang me up however, was very nice and friendly. The customer service was great and not an issue at all.

We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

New Lan Zhou Noodle is one of the restaurants in the China Town food court. It's pretty popular due to their freshly made daily pulled noodles. Pre-pandemic, you used to be able to see them do it behind a glass screen. Now, you cannot see the back kitchen. Hubby and I ordered a noodle dish each (him was Seafood and mines were Short Ribs) along with their soup dumplings (that they're known for) and Twisted Cruellers. Food took very long to make, but it's understandeable. Bowls were very big and full. Meats looks good, but the white broth did not look good at all. We took a spoonful of broth to start off with without adding any condiments and OMG...no flavor at all! We were thoroughly disappointed. The meats part were good and tender (though again, no flavor), but most disappointing was that even with condiments, the broth was bland. We kept on saying to each other that we will not order from here again. The noodles were just okay. Nothing earth shattering about it. Twisted cruellers tasted like it was just heated from a frozen one. I didn't get to taste the soup dumplings because we were running late for appt since the foods took so long and had to pack it to-go. I can't really comment on that. I will not order from here again and would like to try the surrounding stalls around it.

The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!

They have one of the little robots there so that definitely adds to the ambience of all of it but overall it's very nice and very clean inside. Honey butter wings - so the wings were okay. I didn't really get a lot of honey and butter with them so the name was a little misleading to me. Although they did have a hint of sweet to them, it wasn't what I would've called honey butter in the name. They were fried crispy and very well so that was something to their credit. They came with a musumine, cilantro, and lime sauce that was actually okay but a little on the sweeter side. Szeuchan steam wonton - the wontons were pretty good. They came at like eight wontons so it came with a lot. They had a pretty decent size and they weren't super tiny. The flavor was definitely there inside of the sauce and there was a lot of sauce on there. I actually used some of the sauce for another dish because there was so much so that was good. Grandma bbq pork (rice) - you could get the grandma barbecue in a couple of different ways and I decided to get mine with noodles. The dish will come basically looking like ramen, only without the broth, but it's very good presentation. It had an egg on top and it had three crispy wontons in there as well and two big hunks of bok choy, which I really didn't mess with. The pork itself was really good and tender and very flavorful. You could get this in a pasta dish or a rice dish or by itself and it would still be good and flavorful. Overall this is a pretty good spot to stop in if you want to try a myriad of different Asian cuisine types.
