I had the General Tsos and Steak Lo Mein. I have nothing against Americanzed Chinese food. I go to a Fortune Cookie near work occasionally because it's cheap and convenient. It's just I don't how to distinguish one from another and I really don't care about the decor. This place is really made for to go orders. There's two small tables in the center but I think most people don't eat here. The General Tso was decent. I really can't tell if it's that different from other Chinese American places. It was sweet but not overly sweet. The wife enjoyed the steak lo mein and felt like the portions were pretty large. I thought it could've used more steak but that may be just me. The only thing that's pretty mid, is the fried rice. There's nothing in it! Just plain rice, and it's bland. No onion, and Itty bity pieces of egg. This is a Typical takeout spot. They have reasonable prices and you get a nice bit of bang for your buck. There is free parking and it's around a somewhat busy intersection, but you will have no issues as to finding a place. There are some outdoor seats so you can be outside of need be. On the inside,they have a couple of tables there but don't think this is going to be a place for a large group or a date night. Chicken wings (lemon pepper) - The wings were pretty good. They weren't really big in size but they actually gave me extra wings. Which really helped LOL. They were a season. Pretty good though. I would get them again. Pork egg roll - I only got one, but that joint was superior! Cooked perfectly well and golden brown and had a lot of flavor to it! I wish I got a bag of those lol. Fried jumbo shrimp - The jumbo shrimp is okay. I probably would not do it again. There was actually more breading than there was shrimp. You might see a really big shrimp but it's not all shrimp under there. Hunan double (chef special w chicken and shrimp) - This was a pretty good dish. I got mine with fried rice. It did not have a lot of kick or Tang to it, but it was pretty good overall. If you look at the little chart, you assume that if it has a pepper next to it that is going to be a little spicy but mine was not. But it was very savory regardless. Asian Fusion Cafe is a small Asian-American Fusion restaurant located off of Winters Chapel Road, right next to Pizza Hut by the Neighborhood Walmart. I've passed by it numerous times, and finally decided to give it a try, since they have a pretty impressive lunch special - you can get fried rice, soup, and your choice of a lunch entree for around $5-$7. You can dine in (there are a few tables inside), take out, or order for delivery (I think there's a $15 minimum). I decided to call and order ahead for takeout. It was easy to order, their website has their updated menu, so I just ordered off of that. They asked for my name and number, took my order for the lo mein and beef/broccoli lunch special, and told me my order would be ready in 5 minutes. I got there about 7 minutes later, paid for my order, waited about 5 minutes, and was out the door. So I was relatively content with my experience. The interior and exterior could use a serious cleanup or even complete redesign. It just looks old and because of that, it doesn't look the cleanest. But just remember you're coming here for quick, cheap Americanized Chinese takeout. Don't expect to be wow'ed by service either. I wasn't offered any condiments - utensils, napkins, soy sauce, etc. And there weren't any by the counter for you to get yourself. So you do have to ask them for it. Food was pretty bland. Fried rice was dry and looked like half white rice, half fried rice. We couldn't even finish the wonton soup. Lo mein was pretty flavorless. Overall, would I return? But they were missing my sweet and sour sauce, so I really only came home with fried shrimp and rice. :((( I also ordered the lo mein daily special, which looks tasty as well. I have two little kids with me and they gave them each a rice krispie treat while they wait and we were given some delicious complimentary shrimp as well. I called ahead of time for lunch, and asked if the shrimp was breaded on the lunch meals. The gentleman, albeit nice, didn't understand my question, and asked me to come in and order so that we could figure it out. I told him that I was in a hurry and wanted to order ahead. He advised me that if I came in to order instead of over the phone, he'll cook it quickly so that I won't have to wait too long. I decided that was okay, since I deliver UberEats from this location sometimes, and never have to wait. The food is always ready to go. This was my first time eating there as a paying customer. Because I'm new to eating Chinese food, I often need help with the menu; thus my question on how the shrimp is prepared. Anyway, I arrive at the restaurant and speak to the gentleman. I asked if the shrimp was breaded again, he didn't understand. I pointed to and asked if the shrimp in the Kung Pao shrimp was breaded. He looked confused; then I said, "is the shrimp in the Kung Pao Shrimp fried?" He finally understood me! "Yes it's fried! All Chinese shrimp is fried!" I replied, "Sir, are you sure that it's fried? Not grilled? But Fried?" He tells me again, "Yes, that shrimp is fried." Okay good. I reply that I want Kung Pao Shrimp. 6 minutes later, my food is done. I made the mistake of not checking my food. I drive home, open the box, and he gives me Kung Pao Chicken! I was the only customer in the restaurant, with no pending Uber Orders. Just me! Kung Pao Chicken. I call him back, tell him that I wanted Kung Pao Shrimp and I'll be returning to get my food, and please make sure that my shrimp is fried. I go back to the restaurant, he swore to me that he heard "chicken". I asked him how he heard chicken when all we talked about was shrimp? He even said shrimp in the conversation above. My food was ready when I walked in the door, and he asks me to throw away my old plate. No problem, so I chuck it in the trash. I check it, and by the frown on his face, he was displeased that I checked the food this time. The damn shrimp is grilled. I just take it and leave. There's no winning here. Plus, the fried rice looked like it was half lightly fried and half white. I won't be coming back. This could have been solved if there were pictures on the menu and on the website for novices like me. I understand the minor language barrier, but damn, you told me that my shrimp would be fried, and it wasn't. This place was horrible. The food was very bland. No seasonings. I ordered Shrimp with Lobster Sauce (shrimps taste frost bitten)....the lobster sauce (egg mixture) was so plain tasting like eggs and faucet water and this came with a choice of white rice or fried rice $1.00 extra. The Fried rice was obviously the white rice that they fried a little and made a tannish color. The second order was house special lomein which was obviously "regular" fat swollen spaghetti & some were stuck together as spaghetti sticks does. Again no seasonings and very dry (no sauce). Lomein has chinese noodles which is curly....even the roman noodle packs in the supermarket is better than that. Horrible food. I've had better Chinese food from a place in Snellville.
