Terrible. Not even sure how this classifies as a pizza. It looks like one but most stops after that. Sauce was like a store name brand canned pizza sauce, dough was almost worse than a canned dough and the cheese was a low grade and over salty cheese even worse than Domino's. It actually left a gritty feel in the mouth. Got a small x-cheese and ate only one slice before throwing the rest away. I travel and don't get time to stop much so when I do I hope the food is at least decent. Time to revamp everything here. read more

After arriving rather late to Provincetown, I was able to discover a place who was still open for food. It was around 10pm on Friday night - the place was moderately busy. I called ahead for a pizza pickup and was informed it would be roughly 30 minutes - no big deal. I was in the area and decided to pop in for a drink. A bit pricey at 10 bucks for a vodka seltzer, but I guess it was because of the area? Anywho, the pizza was ready so I took it back to the hotel. After arriving back, I opened the box and it was completely the wrong pie. When I left the parlor I specifically asked the order name to make sure - not thinking I had to open it. A buffalo chicken pizza was ordered, but a chicken, onion and bacon was given. I wish the pizza was hot - it was ICE cold. The chicken on the pizza tasted like shaved turkey left over from Thanksgiving! Avoid at all costs. read more

We found this place stumbling walking back home to our air bnb after visiting the bars. We were greeted and they took our in house dining order for a pizza immediately. Our server was the bar tender and she made some seriously strong Moscow Mules. That alone deserves 5 stars haha. The buffalo chicken was ammaaaazing and my friend got the pepperoni and cheese pizza. Wish I recorded what I witnessed tonight. I'm so disgusted.... Lost my appetite. That guy is gonna get people sick. I watched him handle food with his bare hands, then wipe his hands all over his ass, his jeans, his shirt... handle receipts and money.... I explained to him what I saw, how it was unsanitary and he looked me in the face and denied it lol. Then he walked away, turned his back .... Very dismissive. I explained to him I wasn't there to give him a hard time and I was there to pick up my pizza that I had already paid for. Needless to say, I can't get the imagine of him wiping his hands all over his sweaty jeans and shirt. I do not recommend going here. Plenty of pizzas places around; don't risk getting sick. Came in for food and it was basically empty, a few people who looked like regulars at the bar. We ordered and it seemed like a few people started strolling in but still not a huge crowd. We waited 30 minutes for our food, while everyone else were getting their orders. We checked 3 times in 30 minutes and were told it was in the oven. Cheesesteak and a slice of mushroom pizza should not take 30 minutes; then to observe so much. It reminded me of an episode of Bar Rescue. Observed a bar tender (who was barely functioning) pet a dog and go behind the bar without washing her hands to serve drinks during COVID, the same bartender was basically being bullied, oh and she technically didn't work here, she just came for drinks and decided to help out because she used to work here. Again, that guy from Bar Rescue should voluntarily show up. This place is a disaster. Never again! read more

This place was recommended to us by the hotel staff at harbor inn. We don't mind spending money on good food but almost 50.00 for two pizzas seemed a little hefty. We put this aside because we are on vacation however the pizza was very poor quality. Very little cheese along with lack of any ingredients we asked for. The one pizza was loaded with raw onions to cover up the lack of other items. The other pizza that only had two items pretty much had no cheese. I tried to resolve this with the manager who became incredibly defensive rather than try to find a way to resolve the situation. I asked the hotel staff not to recommend this place in the future. Sorry if you want to charge a moderately high price for a product you need to back it with a quality product read more

Rude staff. Waited 5 minutes to be seated. Walked towards the back of the restaurant to ask if they are open for lunch. The staff member replied "Well can't you see the open sign on the front door?" And rolled her eyes. I let her know that we had been waiting to be seated and she responded again with attitude "there's a reason for that". We immediately left after this interaction. Today I had a meatball parm sub ($9.40). The bread was toasty, chewy and had enough softness to soak up the home made marinara as a side ($1.50). We have never gone there before, and we've been to PTown for decades. It is a regular looking "mom & pop" place. No graphics or glitz or gimmics. We LOVED that! We were welcomed by staff & also patrons. It felt easy. We ordered apps. When they came, it was amazing., I got the meatball. Delicious! As we talked to the staff, I asked about the pizza. Judging by the meatball that was homemade. We were told that George wakes up & makes the fresh dough every morning. He makes the meatballs & sause. My parents owned a pizza house & did do this. We had to have a pizza & gyro. Absolutely delicious. I so happened to meet George, 83 yrs old, when I was leaving. I shook his hand & said I loved his place. George is Greek from Crete. Eh. We stooped in here on New Year's Day and got a pizza and Salad to go. The George's combo was awful- so heavy and loaded with toppings which all blended in- canned mushrooms, pepperoni, onions, sausage, and green peppers. It was just too much-and all the toppings made the crust soggy. The salad was not much better. We asked for blue cheese and they gave us a vinaigrette. While working for American Horror Story we ordered from George's for the whole crew and were not disappointed! A day before (which is way too late for me to be ordering) they were able to whip up a 60 pie order for a crew of 200 (super impressive)! We got cheese, roni, George's vegetarian, meat lovers and a couple no cheese veggies for the dairy free crowd. Meat lovers was my fave Delivery was prompt and friendly and the pizza was such a great treat on a cold friday! Horrible service. My friends and I went there because it was one of the only places open during a blizzard, and we were rudely told to leave because we were "screwing with their business". Our waiter said it was a COVID-19 policy to not sit at the tables, which I would've understood if he was wearing a real mask, but in reality he was wearing a neck guard which he kept taking off every 5 minutes. I didn't stay for my whole meal but I it a beer while I waited, *Boston lager was $4.25 and then large pizza was $18 I think, anyways service was fine. Nothing to complain about. Eating area was very clean, didn't get o the back area ppl are writing about, but the bath room apparently didn't get included in Amy renovations if there were because it was pretty gross. Pizza was awesome though. Mouthwatering Alfredo sauce and generous toppings on a pretty good crust. Just ordered from here while staying in Provincetown for the weekend. We are staying at the Masthead Cottages. My husband and I were feeling way to lazy to go out. We called a few restaurants looking for delivery which was advertised on their sites and Yelp. I was particularly in the mood for seafood. No one was actually delivering so we called George's Pizza and sure enough...of course they were delivering:)! We didn't get the seafood I was dreaming about (we'll get some tomorrow) but we got a delicious Greek pizza, a chicken gyro, a very generous serving of lasagna, a piece of baklava and a few 16oz bottles of seltzer:) we were very satisfied and pleased to be able to stay in Pj's while enjoying a little in state vacation by the sea. Our food was warm and good and the delivery woman was very kind. What else can we ask for:) read more

Kaylie was awesome!! We've been coming here for years, mostly off season because we have family here and our daughter loves the pizza at George's . Wife loves the veggie gyro with eggplant. Well my wife and 6 year old daughter went after hearing positive things and we only had one positive. Waiter sat us and took drink order. 2 diet cokes and a sprite. he came back for order without drinks. Should have known how long that took and daughter had to wait few minutes longer for her sprite. Diet soda tasted bad but I was willing to wait for server to stop by or appetizers came. Now that never happened. Bar maid asked if he was ringing us out, we told her we weren't even served. She explained being short handed but after an hour the kids slice of pizza and appetizers should have been out(slice of spinach pie and potato wedges). Bar maid said our food will be right out. She brought it out. In fairness my daughter liked the slice of pizza. Potato wedges, Spinach pie, Cheese steak and chicken parmesan sandwiches were not only over cooked but burnt. We had food at edge of table and told her; she went to grab the manager but she wasn't willing to come out. She took off chicken parm and spinach pie. So essentially for piece of pizza and sprite it cost $20. I would rather the manager dealt with me before I left a review. Instead I got a young barmaid showing way too much cleavage with obscenities written on her shirt. Not great for family place. Older gentleman that had got us in since he was a local and knew them was very nice man. Other then that there was nothing to praise about service or food and lack of management. read more

Monday 10Aug 2020. Dreadful. No stars deserved . Only 5 tables and waiter who continuously grabbed his hair with his hands m, ran from tables without completing orders & disappeared stating ' Covid' constantly as excuse for lack of ability. We ordered pizza and he ran from table without taking drink order. 15 mins later when we asked him to take our drink orders he told us to get 'f....ing out'. And stated to cook . 'f....ing bi...es' Behavior was similar to one needed a fix. Jumpy and fidgety, lack of concentration. Just as well nothing to eat or drink as considering the viewed behavior who knows what could have been served. read more

This pizza reminds me of pizza from Germany. Not a lot of sauce, some cheese and toppings just thrown on. At least put the toppings on with some methodology and evenly distribute them. The crust is uneven, but it was my favorite part. Still had pretty good form I could fold it and eat it pretty easily! The staff is super friendly, that's always a bonus star for any establishment on Yelp! Will have to try this place again next time just to make sure I didn't get them on an off night. read more

Terrible service, mediocre food. Ordered two small pizza's with some cocktails for dinner tonight. Waitress brought out an incorrect drink and we waited over an hour for our (mediocre) pizza's. The waitress checked on us only one time, during which we ordered a second round which she forgot about. A 20% gratuity was added to our bill which she conveniently did not mention, she did not deserve it as she had forgotten two of our drinks, brought out a soft drink instead of a cocktail, and did not check on us at all. When we tried to ask why, she told us it was not her problem and that we could take it up with the owner. We called ahead for a large pizza after a rude experience at Spiritus. The Uber driver was WONDERFUL. However, the pizza place was horrific. Completely rude, doesn't care drunk or sober.
