Completely unremarkable totally average not bad not great barbecue chicken pizza. Had pineapple and rather dry chicken chunks. Had plenty of toppings but the crust was on the dry overly hard side. The fried mozzarella came as two giant hunks of soft melty cheese with breading and a container of tasty hot chunky marinara sauce. The spingi was a mound of not exactly light and flaky or crispy but almost kinda hard too sugared dough pieces. Not bad hard but definitely not as airy and light as one might expect for simple fried dough. All around mediocre meal for $35.

People rave about this pizza, but consider this a public service announcement: the pictured pizza was ordered as double pepperoni. Not at all what I envisioned for twice the meat. Subtract half these and that's the standard. While this is good pizza, I am not sure it's great. $24 for this pie. Nice spicy flavor and heat to the taste buds, but this will be my last visit while in the area. The staffer was super friendly in the phone and in person. Crust is good, nice crisp for a medium thickness. Better than many Ohio pizza places.

I've been going to Geraci's for, quite literally, my whole life. I moved away from Cleveland years ago, and still make it a priority to come here every time I visit. I've always been a fan of the spaghetti with Geraci sauce and the garlic bread is epic. That hasn't changed, thank goodness. I love that they give you a liberal amount of sauce with the pasta and it's always rich and flavorful. The garlic bread is my favorite of any I've ever eaten -- it's dream-worthy. And I love that you get a complimentary salad with your order, too. However, the service on my most recent visit left a lot to be desired. The restaurant wasn't full -- only about 3 tables -- yet our waitress was scattered and basically not present. We asked for water and I ordered a Shirley temple. Took about 10 minutes to get either one (and asking again) -- she said "oh I forgot." The Shirley temple was not one -- it was red food coloring in a glass of water. I had to ask her to take it back and she was shocked. She also dropped a basket of bread on our table and said "well it's not fresh today but..." then shrugged her shoulders and walked away. (For the record, the bread tasted fine, that was just weird.) So, overall, I still love the food. But the service was just not up to par. And I guess I learned my lesson on ordering a Shirley temple.

I have been into trying new places as of recently and surprisingly, never tried Geraci's before. I ordered myself a small BBQ chicken pizza to go. It was ready right when they said it would be. I drove home and dug in. The dough is chewy and the crust is crunchy and there is a ton of BBQ sauce all over. The toppings are where I have issue. For a SEVENTEEN dollar personal pizza, I expected better than canned pineapple and a few sprinkling of cubed chicken, which was a bit dry. I'll come here again if out with friends to share a pie, but I won't go out of my way to pay the price of a personal pizza here again.

A DDD stop in Cleveland Ohio. Geraci's where I had a pizza and he got the wild mushroom ravioli. Both were enjoyed.

It is definitely on the formal side. The food is top notch and some of our favorite items are the bruschettas and salads. Very nice spot for a date night or special occasion or out of town guests. I appreciate greatly from them that you can select in your reservation which zone of the restaurant you want to sit in. Service has been very good when we've been there most recently Corinne I believe her name was was very friendly and helpful and did an amazing job managing many tables some with difficult customers. One note, NOT a negative to me but may be noteworthy for some: I don't think Gigi's is a spot for kids or large family events with kids, unless they have a private dining space I'm unaware of. Space between tables is tight and the space overall is not huge but they make great use of the space. The staff are extremely efficient and there are many of them moving with trays at any given time, it's absolutely not a spot to walk around with a toddler if they get bored at the table. The chairs for example are also small so don't expect a giant family size booth here. Again these are positives to me but just notes!

We were fortunate enough to sit by the front window and had a clear view of the restaurant and the street. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and they did a great job. We started off with their famous bruschetta and we're not disappointed. So many choices and so hard to pick, but we loved every bit of it. For entrees, we had the signature lasagna that was fantastic and a special from what I remember was short rib and couscous. Everything was very delicious. The only downside coming to this wonderful restaurant is parking. I had to park two streets over and walking on icy and snowy sidewalks was not pleasant.

The large pizzas are very large like one would feed a family of 4. Their patio is really lovely in the summer and in the winter the interior is a nice moody vibe. We have tried several of their pastas as well and they are really solid also. We have always had good service when we have been there and most recently Rita was fantastic. I do wish they accepted reservations but I understand it's not part of their business model and they have to do what works for them. There are plenty of places nearby to walk in and grab a drink at the bar if you need to wait. I will concur with another review I saw that we have experienced inconsistencies with them not being open or being about to close when their hours are still "live." We were waiting on a few other members of our party and invited to relax at the bar with fabulous service and excellent excellent treatment. The warm environment of this family restaurant was like getting a warm hug on getting a cool rainy day. (It was!) Owner, Scott, took time in telling us a bit of the history while we enjoyed a couple drinks at the bar. A few minutes later, our friends joined us, and we were seated at our table. Our seasoned server, Mary Lou, answered any questions we had and gave us fabulous recommendations. She made sure she paid attention to us, but did not rush us in any step of the process. Our entrées included two orders of lasagna (made from a 60-year-old family recipe), an order of eggplant Parmesan, and an order of clam linguine with white sauce. All of us also ordered a side salad. Salad came out promptly and delicious! Followed by our entrées, beautiful, and looking so ready to be eaten. Every bite was fabulous, and the warmth of the environment made this meal truly seem like sitting around someone's family table at home. With hardly any room left, all four of us ordered dessert to go. This was a first for us, first time in the restaurant, first time in little Italy in Cleveland, Ohio! And finally, our first time to ever say this will not be our last time because we will be back, and will bring more friends!!

Perhaps my expectations were simply too high, but the overall experience didn't quite live up to the hype for me. One of the restaurant's biggest advantages is its location. Although it's situated in a quieter part of Little Italy, there's plenty of street parking, and the restaurant also has its own parking lot--a huge plus in the neighborhood. Upon entering, you're greeted with the ambiance of an upscale Italian restaurant. The dining room is elegant and inviting, and our server, *Maci*, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The meal began with a complimentary basket of baguette-style bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar--a nice start but the bread itself was averate For appetizers, my wife and I shared the Baby Arugula Salad, which was average, and the Eggplant Parmesan, which was probably the standout dish of the evening. Our daughter ordered the Caprese Salad, which she enjoyed overall, although we all felt it was a bit too salty. For our entrées, my wife and I shared the Halibut. While it was prepared well, we both agreed it had a stronger "fishy" flavor than we expected. The accompanying baby potatoes, however, were excellent. Our daughter ordered the Ricotta and Black Truffle Stuffed Pasta. She enjoyed it, but found it to be richer and heavier than anticipated--she was expecting a lighter pasta dish. Dessert, unfortunately, was the biggest disappointment of the evening. We decided to try what appeared to be the restaurant's three signature desserts: Tiramisu - As soon as it arrived, our daughter commented that it looked unusually light in color, and she was right. It tasted much more like vanilla than coffee, lacking the bold espresso flavor we typically expect from a tiramisu. Cappuccino Chocolate Mousse - This was overwhelmingly sweet. I could only manage a couple of bites before it became too much. Hazelnut Bomb (the daily dessert special) - Despite its name, we couldn't detect much hazelnut flavor at all. It tasted more like a rich chocolate dessert than anything distinctly hazelnut. Before ordering, we asked if the kitchen could prepare smaller tasting portions so the three of us could sample all three desserts without wasting food. The request was declined. I completely understand why the restaurant may not accommodate special requests like that, but I do wish they offered a dessert tasting option. As it turned out, we ended up leaving more than half of each dessert untouched. Given its location in the heart of Little Italy, I can certainly understand why this restaurant has earned such a strong reputation. The atmosphere, service, and presentation are all very good. However, for us, the food simply didn't match the expectations created by its stellar reviews. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, but not one that would make us eager to return when there are so many outstanding Italian restaurants in the area.
