The Spaghetti is very pleasant, order meatball with and garlic bread and you have a meal for two. Which is what I did because my wife ordered pizza which came back so dry and crispy which was essentially burnt. It was Friday night, and there weren't many customers there. I don't know how you burn pizza for a customer sitting in the restaurant. Maybe that's the problem. My wife asked another diner who said when she ordered it delivered she had to tell them not to burn it. Seriously? In retrospect, I should have sent the pizza back and taken a photo. But it was a rare date night with wife so I wanted to keep things pleasant, and luckily I had enough spaghetti to give her a meal from my order. But Geracis is too expensive for this. Apparently their overcooked pizza is known among other locals, but we (I) am new to the area. My wife grew up here and fond memories. I did a take out after hearing how good the pizza is here and I wanted to give it a go. Ordered two large pizza, one deluxe and one tri cheese. The bottom of the pizza's were a little burnt which I truly dislike the burnt taste. Also tri cheese was too salty to my taste. However there was a solid great toppings on the deluxe pizza that I would consider reordering. There was an option to be extra baked on the online section and I didn't select that so my pizza was not burnt. I would love to dine in to experience more in here to enjoy in the restaurant; maybe that would make up this time's disappointment. read more

I lived in the neighborhood and have been going to Geraci's since it opened. We got carryout this last time and it was disappointing. Was visiting family for a few days in the neighborhood. They recommended I get some takeout from this restaurant. My dad paid for it so that's always a plus. We bought a Groupon for this restaurant and came out. It was very good! Appetizer was fried artichoke - medium husband said it was great I had the chicken parm with spaghetti and my husband had the veal parm gnocchi - both were excellent For dessert we had coffee and he had tiramisu. The slice shop on Prospect is not the move, meaning they're awful. They overcook the slices terribly. Imagine cement on the bottom and lava on top. The next time I tried the italian sub, hot. They microwaved the whole thing, bread (now tough as leather), lettuce, tomatoes...everything. Even my children wouldn't do something as silly as that. This is a cozy family owned restaurant tucked into a little strip mall. The inside is so inviting and right away we noticed a ton of families and groups of friends eating pizza, drinking wine and have good conversation. My fiance and I headed here for a date night because we had a gift card and well, we don't venture to the east side enough. I read the yelp reviews and the comments that we "HAD" to order the pepperoni, made me order the pepperoni. We indeed ordered a pepperoni pizza and it is the best pepperoni we both have ever had! This was a very tasty, sizeable, pizza. We ordered a large, which turned out to be far too many pieces for us to try to eat in one seating. My only dislike about the pizza was that it was dripping in grease. We did the unspeakable and dabbed the top with a napkin. No issues there, I just do not prefer a lot of grease. We are very easy to please but the food here was really disappointing. Wife got linguine with garlic clam sauce and it tasted like eating a head of garlic - she sent it back. I love Geracis but I usually go to the pepper pike location. Our server Lisa was great and did everything she could to accommodate us! I personally love the toasted beef ravioli for appetizer. And my favorite pasta sauce is the tomato cream. Favorite entree is the chicken francheise. But the pizza and gnocchi is also amazing. They also have gluten free pizza and pasta options! Stopped in to try the new location in Willoughby. Hoping to get a decent pizza. Unfortunately, this place is disappointing. Ordered a large margarita pizza and large salad for $34 dollars thinking this was a decent amount of food for 2. Salad consisted of lettuce, 3 cherry tomatoes, and just a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. The "large" pizza was more like a medium and was average at best. But for $24 I expected more. We went here for lunch and let me tell you.....OMG sooooo good! We walked in and were greeted right away. The dining room has that old Italian feel which was so cozy and inviting. The place was full of people and the service was still really good. Now to the food....the best pizza I've ever had. I like pizza a little more over done and this pizza was cooked perfectly. We did order a cannoli to share and it was really good too. We left there full and happy! They only take cash which is fine because they do have an atm machine in the front by the door. Went to the web site and pulled up the online ordering & asked my wife to get me a GF Small Gourmet BBQ Chicken Pizza, uncut, half baked, so I could reheat at home and not have a burnt cracker pizza. All options available for online ordering. This is what she brought home. NOT half baked. NOT uncut. GF??? idk. And yes, after reheating the outside crust was burnt to a crisp. Inside was okay, but way to much work to wind up with something edible. Next time I'll order online, have her pickup when done and see if different. If not, I'm done with takeout from here. Great service, the food (we got pizza, pasta and toasted raviolis) was awesome and super fast, and upon tasting the dessert of tiny donuts, my six-year-old son immediately requested we come back the next day for breakfast. My wife picked up a pizza on the way home from the Pepper Pike location. It was with sausage and banana peppers, Sicilian style. The sauce was good but they must dust the pizza with sausage! There could not be more than an ounce of sausage and it was almost in not visible it was so finely ground! ( you could not taste it) the banana peppers were also scarce ! A real disappointment !
