    Turkey sandwich
    Diane A.

Went to knotts berry on a Tuesday and we wanted to sit down and eat at a nice restaurant and decided to try this place out. There was no line we were seated right away our orders were taken fast. I gotta say the customer service at this place is 10/10 exceptional. I ordered the turkey sandwich with onion rings on the side. My son gor spaghetti and my bf got a hamburger. The food was sooo good!! 10/10 the prices are reasonable we will always eat here when we go to knotts for sure!!

Boysenberry Festival offerings. Kettle Chip Nachos, Toffee Cocktail, Mai Tai, wings
    Lorna K.

We were here for the Boysenberry Festival and it was fantastic! There were too many choices to possibly try in one visit. The service is quick, the offerings are just a bit small for the chicken wings, but still satisfying. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tables could use some cleaning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance festive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is sad that they had to raise the price of online season pass taster cards from $45 to $55, and regular priced tasting cards from $55 to $65.

This rustic restaurant is located at Knott's Berry Farm. Funny, we had never noticed it before but it has been over 10 years since I last visited. We arrived just as they opened so our party of 5 was seated right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We loved the ranch style decor, which gave you a feeling of the Old West.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the nicest and most attentive server. She took our orders right away so the food came out quickly, which was great because we were famished! Everybody enjoyed their meals. I liked my Chili Relleno spring rolls with the spicy sauce. My grandson devoured his chicken strips & fries. This was a fantastic first time visit. Prices were reasonable for good quality food and decent portions. We returned later in the day for dessert!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's always a nice lunch here at Knott's Berry Farm at the Ghost Town grill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We always sit on the patio which is surrounded by flowers and gives you a view of all the park goers walking by.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I stuck with my usual, the buffalo wings, and did a mix and match with my son, who ordered the Nacho Burger. Have you ordered a patty melt. The nacho bird was good, with housemaid salsa and melted pepper jack. Pepper Jack was super melty--sooo good. They have started serving seasoned fries, and I'm so glad. They're pretty good. Of course we'll keep coming here as we have for a long time. Yes, we will actually just go to Knott's Berry Farm to eat lunch here and then leave.

    Amazing pastrami burger!
    David K.

I have had lunch here with my family twice in the past year or two and both times we have all been very pleased with our meals. There's a good selection of items on the menu for pretty reasonable prices despite being inside an amusement park and the portions are large. Decent offerings of beer, wine and cocktails, too. I ordered a very tasty salad on the first visit and the special pastrami burger on this most recent one. The burger was HUGE and really, really good. Just look at the pictures, man, this was a BEAST! I could only eat half of it with some fries but that wasn't because I didn't absolutely love it, I did. My wife and daughter helped pretty much finishing it off. I would NOT have liked leaving the other half! The kids all ordered chicken tenders and the wife ordered a great Club Sandwich (pictured). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is nice/country and service has always been quite good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Highly recommend if you want a break from the sun and noise outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    May 2026 menu part two

I always look on Yelp to find the newest menu for this restaurant, but when I arrived the menu that was closest to today's date was already outdated and they no longer had those items. I had to settle for appetizers. So this is just informative for anyone that wants the new menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were able to sit outside on the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was just OK and overpriced.

    Pesto chicken Fettuccine

Forgot our lemonade which ended up tasting like lemon Gatorade. The fettuccine wasn't fettuccine it was spaghetti, the chicken was burnt, and the spaghetti noodles were over-boiled and mushy. Service was fine, just stick to the soups and fountain drinks.

    Southwest Salad with chicken
    Beth T.

Excellent food at The Ghost Town Grill. I had the Salmon Salad while my friends had the Southwest Chicken Salad. This is some of the healthiest food here at Knott's Berry Farm and [[HIGHLIGHT]]such a nice comfortable restaurant too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good service from Michelle and Darius.

Chicken with wild rice soup, topped with a warm crostini.
    Steph S.

Everything seems to be around $20. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I walked around and nothing appealed to me. Stumbled upon this place and I didn't know they had a sit down table service restaurant in the park.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a cold day and they just started a new menu that includes chicken with wild rice soup. So that's what I chose. Had to wait a bit and the chef came out to tell me they were toasting the crostini. Never in my life would I expect this at a theme park. The soup is creamy and delicious and the crostini...just wow! It even had some roasted fresh sage leaves on top. I want to try some of their other dishes when I come next time. If you are heading to Knott's this is the best option in the park.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A fine place to sit down and get a bite and drink inside of the Calico Ghost Town area of Knott's Berry Farm[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ate here on the busy first day of Peanut's Celebration, and service was fast and consistent. The two of us were seated quickly, and servers came by often to ask about food and drink. The food quality here is just okay, but better than some other spots inside of Knott's in addition they have beer and mixed drinks on the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The design fits in with Ghost Town. For example, there's a wagon façade in front of the kitchen. Servers kick up things from the wagon to bring to tables[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]PROPS: A great spot to people watch while getting a bite inside Knott's[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] SLOPS: Food inside Knott's is just okay in quality

Empty tables on a holiday with an hour long line.
    Bill H.

We've been coming here for years and it's a real shame how it's changed. We went on a busy day, which is understandable, but the experience was a mess from start to finish. There was a huge line out the door, and unlike just about every other restaurant in existence, they don't use a waitlist system. After waiting an hour, we were told we were next and could even see our table sitting there... just needed to be cleaned. Then, out of nowhere, they sat the next table ahead of us. Then the next one. Then the next one. We stood there another 20 minutes while the slowest busser in the history of restaurants, slowly worked through tables as several other staff members stood around chatting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we finally sat down, we noticed half the dining room was empty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] How can there be an hour-long line and that many open tables? Poor management is the only explanation. Once seated, things didn't get better. They were out of several menu items, and the food we did get wasn't any better than the quick-service options in the park. The salmon was straight up overcooked and fishy. The server was doing her best so I don't blame her, but honestly, most of the staff, especially the front of the house, seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else. If you can avoid this place when it's busy, do yourself a favor and skip it. Grab something faster elsewhere, you'll save time, money, and frustration.

    Mango margarita
    Marian G.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is nice air conditioning restaurant with table service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is of the old west with booth seating and patio seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Your food comes from an area where there is a stagecoach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They know who to make a delicious mango margarita. Carol was my server and she asked me for my drivers license in order to have a margarita. I took it as a compliment. I was served a fresh delicious salad with habanero sauce and avocado sauce on the side. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a wonderful family restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the patio you can see the cast in their western attired walking through the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Price point for our meal was moderate. The grilled chicken sandwich with fries was filling. Michelle took over when Carol went on break. Michelle was just as gracious as Carol was.

Grilled Chicken Club with Caesar Salad
    Vanna T.

Haven't been here for a while and so glad we stopped by for lunch. They have a special edition menu with a yummy bourbon peach twisted tea and strawberry blondie Sunday. We also ordered the Baked Mac n Cheese with BBQ Pulled Pork and Mashed Potatoes & Ultimate Nachos with steak. Both items were so delicious and satisfying. The fried onions and gravy were the perfect toppings to the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. Very friendly and quick service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice decors inside. Makes you feel like you're in the Old Wild West, especially since they're located inside Ghost Town at Knott's.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely heading back here again!

During the planning phase, General Manager Mike's experience was extremely helpful when we shared what we envisioned for the party. He advised us where to set up the sections for food, a photo booth, the satellite bar, gift/message table, and where to place the tables that were in front of the stage for our hired entertainment (singer and DJ). We reserved the beach outdoor patio which can have up to 200 people, stage and dance area and TVs to project photos. From the moment we arrived, besides Mike, Kelly was also onsite and the point of contact for our event and was available during the event. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Servers Raelyn and team were attentive, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure a successful event. My husband and I were able to enjoy the party alongside our family with our family and friends. Our event was held during Memorial Day weekend when a chemical leak occurred in Garden Grove and Mike worked closely with us to address our concerns, kept us informed every step of the way regarding any potential impact to the Buena Park location (which, thankfully, was never affected) and made sure every detail we outlined in the layout of the event was in place. His professionalism and steady reassurance transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and joyful evening. The ambiance was lively, festive, and absolutely ideal for our crowd. And the food? Our guests could not stop raving about it. Everyone agreed it far surpassed typical bar food. The sliders were a massive hit, the pizza was devoured within minutes and generous in portion and incredible in flavor -- had everyone going back for seconds. Multiple guests approached us throughout the night just to compliment the food, which says everything. That night at Rock and Brews in Buena Park will forever be a cherished core memory for our family and friends. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our son's college graduation celebration so incredibly magical! If you're looking for a stress-free venue for your next event, Rock and Brews in Buena Park delivers on every level. Great food, amazing staff and a fun, relaxed atmosphere - they truly check all the boxes for an exceptional celebration!

Everything was really good. The food was solid, and the pricing felt fair for today's world--not cheap, but not outrageous either. Honestly, since it's inside a hotel, my expectations weren't sky-high, but the food pleasantly surprised me. I'd definitely come back, especially to try their brunch. The reason it's four stars instead of five comes down to the atmosphere and staffing. The restaurant sits right in the hotel lobby with no walls, so you hear everything--hotel guests coming and going, music playing in the lobby, the TV from the bar, and general foot traffic. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxed dinner, this might feel a little overstimulating. Also, our waiter (who was great, by the way) seemed to be doing the job of about three people. He was taking orders, bringing drinks and food, running payments, and even delivering room service. The poor guy was working like he owed the hotel money. On a Friday night, they could definitely use more staff. That said, the food was good, the service was kind, and I'd still come back--next time probably for brunch.

There was also standing water on the floor with no wet floor signs, barriers, or any warnings whatsoever. This was a clear slip-and-fall hazard in a busy restaurant. I calmly brought it to the attention of the manager on duty, Julie, and pointed out how dangerous it was--especially for guests using wheelchairs or with mobility needs, this was particularly concerning. Instead of addressing the problem, she dismissed it as "not a big deal," refused to complete any incident report, gave me a negative attitude with a mean facial expression, and then called security on me as if I was the problem. When the young security guard arrived, he asked for my ID. I politely refused and explained the situation calmly--he looked surprised but not defensive. I have photos documenting the ceiling leak, standing water, and lack of signage. This experience was disappointing and unsafe, especially from a hotel restaurant attached to a family theme park. Management should prioritize fixing hazards and training staff to handle legitimate guest concerns professionally rather than escalating them. I hope Knott's / Six Flags investigates and improves. This was my first time coming to this restaurant.

Although CJ's was a much better restaurant from 1977-2005 when privately run by the Nickoloff family and took another quality hit when the otherwise excellent Landry's chain took over in 2010, the remaining locations, including this one, are still decent sit down, casual, and family dining restaurants. After visiting several times for lunch and dinner on both weekdays and weekends during both peak and non-peak hours, in our opinion, Yelpers who have complained about poor service both from servers and seaters as well as the seats being run down have not had a typical experience here. Although getting seated was a little slow on several of our visits, the people who seated did not have a bad attitude and on a few occasions it was our server. Although several of our servers here were friendly and attentive, Austin on our last visit, really did a good job. This is one of the only remaining CJ's that still has a salad bar and we have gotten it on several visits. We have also had the ribs and chicken pot pie at this location as well as some of their cocktails. Although it is sad that soup is no longer included in the salad bar, the food quality is still good and comparable to other renaming CJ locations such as in San Diego and Vegas (Henderson). This CJ's is located in a strip mall with limited parking and is across the street from Knott's Berry Farm. Parking can be difficult and the spaces are small, but we have always been able to find a spot so far. There are several other good restaurants in the area, but if you are visiting Knott's and want a sit down, casual, and family dining experience, this CJ's is a good choice and better than eating at Knott's--CJ's chicken pot pie is bigger and better than Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. The 3.1 current Yelp average for this CJ's location is too low--it should be a 4 star. It cannot be a 5 star unless the return to the former quality and quantity the restaurant had under the Nickoloff family.
