This spot is located inside of Knotts Berry Farm in the Calico Ghost Town area. I'll start off by saying the service was great. The hostess and all of the servers were friendly and attentive. However, the food was not good. I came with family and we all agreed that our dishes were bland. Everything needed salt and some flavor.

Ghost Town Grill was worth the stop, even with the long line during Merry Farm. It definitely took some patience to get in, but once we did, the triple threat cake made it all worthwhile. It was incredibly delicious and felt like the perfect post-Thanksgiving treat--rich, festive, and totally indulgent with its layers of cake, cheesecake, and pie. I loved it so much that it actually inspired me to want to recreate it at home. While the wait knocks the experience down just a bit, the dessert alone makes this a fun seasonal stop inside Knott's Berry Farm. The staff was fantastic, and the Christmas carolers posted outside during Merry Farm added an extra dose of holiday charm that made the whole experience feel special.

This rustic restaurant is located at Knott's Berry Farm. Funny, we had never noticed it before but it has been over 10 years since I last visited. We arrived just as they opened so our party of 5 was seated right away. We loved the ranch style decor, which gave you a feeling of the Old West. We had the nicest and most attentive server. She took our orders right away so the food came out quickly, which was great because we were famished! Everybody enjoyed their meals. I liked my Chili Relleno spring rolls with the spicy sauce. My grandson devoured his chicken strips & fries. This was a fantastic first time visit. Prices were reasonable for good quality food and decent portions. We returned later in the day for dessert!

We were here for the Boysenberry Festival and it was fantastic! There were too many choices to possibly try in one visit. The service is quick, the offerings are just a bit small for the chicken wings, but still satisfying. The tables could use some cleaning. The ambiance festive. It is sad that they had to raise the price of online season pass taster cards from $45 to $55, and regular priced tasting cards from $55 to $65.

It's always a nice lunch here at Knott's Berry Farm at the Ghost Town grill. We always sit on the patio which is surrounded by flowers and gives you a view of all the park goers walking by. I stuck with my usual, the buffalo wings, and did a mix and match with my son, who ordered the Nacho Burger. Have you ordered a patty melt. The nacho bird was good, with housemaid salsa and melted pepper jack. Pepper Jack was super melty--sooo good. They have started serving seasoned fries, and I'm so glad. They're pretty good. Of course we'll keep coming here as we have for a long time. Yes, we will actually just go to Knott's Berry Farm to eat lunch here and then leave.

    Amazing pastrami burger!

I have had lunch here with my family twice in the past year or two and both times we have all been very pleased with our meals. There's a good selection of items on the menu for pretty reasonable prices despite being inside an amusement park and the portions are large. Decent offerings of beer, wine and cocktails, too. I ordered a very tasty salad on the first visit and the special pastrami burger on this most recent one. The burger was HUGE and really, really good. Just look at the pictures, man, this was a BEAST! I could only eat half of it with some fries but that wasn't because I didn't absolutely love it, I did. My wife and daughter helped pretty much finishing it off. I would NOT have liked leaving the other half! The kids all ordered chicken tenders and the wife ordered a great Club Sandwich (pictured). Ambience is nice/country and service has always been quite good. Highly recommend if you want a break from the sun and noise outside.

Chicken with wild rice soup, topped with a warm crostini.

Everything seems to be around $20. I walked around and nothing appealed to me. Stumbled upon this place and I didn't know they had a sit down table service restaurant in the park. It's a cold day and they just started a new menu that includes chicken with wild rice soup. So that's what I chose. Had to wait a bit and the chef came out to tell me they were toasting the crostini. Never in my life would I expect this at a theme park. The soup is creamy and delicious and the crostini...just wow! It even had some roasted fresh sage leaves on top. I want to try some of their other dishes when I come next time. If you are heading to Knott's this is the best option in the park.

I always look on Yelp to find the newest menu for this restaurant, but when I arrived the menu that was closest to today's date was already outdated and they no longer had those items. I had to settle for appetizers. So this is just informative for anyone that wants the new menu. We were able to sit outside on the patio. Food was just OK and overpriced.

Empty tables on a holiday with an hour long line.
    Bill H.

We've been coming here for years and it's a real shame how it's changed. We went on a busy day, which is understandable, but the experience was a mess from start to finish. There was a huge line out the door, and unlike just about every other restaurant in existence, they don't use a waitlist system. After waiting an hour, we were told we were next and could even see our table sitting there... just needed to be cleaned. Then, out of nowhere, they sat the next table ahead of us. Then the next one. Then the next one. We stood there another 20 minutes while the slowest busser in the history of restaurants, slowly worked through tables as several other staff members stood around chatting. When we finally sat down, we noticed half the dining room was empty. How can there be an hour-long line and that many open tables? Poor management is the only explanation. Once seated, things didn't get better. They were out of several menu items, and the food we did get wasn't any better than the quick-service options in the park. The salmon was straight up overcooked and fishy. The server was doing her best so I don't blame her, but honestly, most of the staff, especially the front of the house, seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else. If you can avoid this place when it's busy, do yourself a favor and skip it. Grab something faster elsewhere, you'll save time, money, and frustration.

A fine place to sit down and get a bite and drink inside of the Calico Ghost Town area of Knott's Berry Farm We ate here on the busy first day of Peanut's Celebration, and service was fast and consistent. The two of us were seated quickly, and servers came by often to ask about food and drink. The food quality here is just okay, but better than some other spots inside of Knott's in addition they have beer and mixed drinks on the menu. The design fits in with Ghost Town. For example, there's a wagon façade in front of the kitchen. Servers kick up things from the wagon to bring to tables. PROPS: A great spot to people watch while getting a bite inside Knott's SLOPS: Food inside Knott's is just okay in quality

    Southwest Salad with chicken
    Beth T.

Excellent food at The Ghost Town Grill. I had the Salmon Salad while my friends had the Southwest Chicken Salad. This is some of the healthiest food here at Knott's Berry Farm and such a nice comfortable restaurant too. Good service from Michelle and Darius.

    Pesto chicken Fettuccine

Forgot our lemonade which ended up tasting like lemon Gatorade. The fettuccine wasn't fettuccine it was spaghetti, the chicken was burnt, and the spaghetti noodles were over-boiled and mushy. Service was fine, just stick to the soups and fountain drinks.

    Mango margarita
    Marian G.

This is nice air conditioning restaurant with table service. The decor is of the old west with booth seating and patio seating. Your food comes from an area where there is a stagecoach. They know who to make a delicious mango margarita. Carol was my server and she asked me for my drivers license in order to have a margarita. I took it as a compliment. I was served a fresh delicious salad with habanero sauce and avocado sauce on the side. This is a wonderful family restaurant. From the patio you can see the cast in their western attired walking through the area. Price point for our meal was moderate. The grilled chicken sandwich with fries was filling. Michelle took over when Carol went on break. Michelle was just as gracious as Carol was.

Rock and Brews exceeded each category and came in clutch with some bonuses! First, and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! I had tacos, which were discounted for Taco Tuesday and allowed for a mix-and-match of chicken, beef, or pork. My wife had the Mediterranean salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We also shared a pretzel that was mega yummy. Second, beer! Lots of great choices, and if you prefer a mixed spirit, well, you're in luck, because they have plenty of those too. Third, vibes! Vibes like Cal Tjader came back to life. The place is decked out like your coolest friend won the lottery and created the perfect spot for all of his Rock & Roll lovin' homies to hang and chill. It is hard to pull off this level of focus without being a complete visual disaster or downright tawdry. Luckily for them, the designer understood the assignment. Well done, designer. You deserve a raise. Now, obviously, I'm a fan. One visit. That's all it took. But even after all of that goodness, there is one thing I must share, because it made a good experience a great one, and that thing is not even a thing; it was Matthew! Brother, thank you for being so kind and attentive. You are very talented, and without question, the quality of our experience is directly linked to your professionalism. I get the impression that no matter where you go, or what you do, the Force is always strong with you. Let's give Matt a raise too! And make him manager when you open the San Diego location.

They were tasty, too, but I can always appreciate a good looking burger that doesn't fall over after they place it on the table. I had the super spicy one and it kicked my bum. Will be back, even if it's just to get a bottle of their hot sauce . Only real gripe is that this place looks and feels like a sports bar/restaurant, it has over a dozen TVs... But the same thing was on ALL the TVs ! I understand the music theme is central appeal, but at least have different (variety) music videos on if you're gonna have 30 TVs in your restaurant. Honestly, since it's inside a hotel, my expectations weren't sky-high, but the food pleasantly surprised me. I'd definitely come back, especially to try their brunch. The reason it's four stars instead of five comes down to the atmosphere and staffing. The restaurant sits right in the hotel lobby with no walls, so you hear everything--hotel guests coming and going, music playing in the lobby, the TV from the bar, and general foot traffic. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxed dinner, this might feel a little overstimulating. Also, our waiter (who was great, by the way) seemed to be doing the job of about three people. He was taking orders, bringing drinks and food, running payments, and even delivering room service. The poor guy was working like he owed the hotel money. On a Friday night, they could definitely use more staff. That said, the food was good, the service was kind, and I'd still come back--next time probably for brunch.
