    My daughter's BLT and fries.

This rustic restaurant is located at Knott's Berry Farm. Funny, we had never noticed it before but it has been over 10 years since I last visited. We arrived just as they opened so our party of 5 was seated right away. We loved the ranch style decor, which gave you a feeling of the Old West. We had the nicest and most attentive server. She took our orders right away so the food came out quickly, which was great because we were famished! Everybody enjoyed their meals. I liked my Chili Relleno spring rolls with the spicy sauce. My grandson devoured his chicken strips & fries. This was a fantastic first time visit. Prices were reasonable for good quality food and decent portions. We returned later in the day for dessert!

I always look on Yelp to find the newest menu for this restaurant, but when I arrived the menu that was closest to today's date was already outdated and they no longer had those items. I had to settle for appetizers. So this is just informative for anyone that wants the new menu. We were able to sit outside on the patio. Food was just OK and overpriced.

It's always a nice lunch here at Knott's Berry Farm at the Ghost Town grill. We always sit on the patio which is surrounded by flowers and gives you a view of all the park goers walking by. I stuck with my usual, the buffalo wings, and did a mix and match with my son, who ordered the Nacho Burger. Have you ordered a patty melt. The nacho bird was good, with housemaid salsa and melted pepper jack. Pepper Jack was super melty--sooo good. They have started serving seasoned fries, and I'm so glad. They're pretty good. Of course we'll keep coming here as we have for a long time. Yes, we will actually just go to Knott's Berry Farm to eat lunch here and then leave.

    Amazing pastrami burger!

I have had lunch here with my family twice in the past year or two and both times we have all been very pleased with our meals. There's a good selection of items on the menu for pretty reasonable prices despite being inside an amusement park and the portions are large. Decent offerings of beer, wine and cocktails, too. I ordered a very tasty salad on the first visit and the special pastrami burger on this most recent one. The burger was HUGE and really, really good. Just look at the pictures, man, this was a BEAST! I could only eat half of it with some fries but that wasn't because I didn't absolutely love it, I did. My wife and daughter helped pretty much finishing it off. I would NOT have liked leaving the other half! The kids all ordered chicken tenders and the wife ordered a great Club Sandwich (pictured). Ambience is nice/country and service has always been quite good. Highly recommend if you want a break from the sun and noise outside.

Excellent food at The Ghost Town Grill. I had the Salmon Salad while my friends had the Southwest Chicken Salad. This is some of the healthiest food here at Knott's Berry Farm and such a nice comfortable restaurant too. Good service from Michelle and Darius.

Everything seems to be around $20. I walked around and nothing appealed to me. Stumbled upon this place and I didn't know they had a sit down table service restaurant in the park. It's a cold day and they just started a new menu that includes chicken with wild rice soup. So that's what I chose. Had to wait a bit and the chef came out to tell me they were toasting the crostini. Never in my life would I expect this at a theme park. The soup is creamy and delicious and the crostini...just wow! It even had some roasted fresh sage leaves on top. I want to try some of their other dishes when I come next time. If you are heading to Knott's this is the best option in the park.

A fine place to sit down and get a bite and drink inside of the Calico Ghost Town area of Knott's Berry Farm We ate here on the busy first day of Peanut's Celebration, and service was fast and consistent. The two of us were seated quickly, and servers came by often to ask about food and drink. The food quality here is just okay, but better than some other spots inside of Knott's in addition they have beer and mixed drinks on the menu. The design fits in with Ghost Town. For example, there's a wagon façade in front of the kitchen. Servers kick up things from the wagon to bring to tables. PROPS: A great spot to people watch while getting a bite inside Knott's SLOPS: Food inside Knott's is just okay in quality

Empty tables on a holiday with an hour long line.
    Bill H.

We've been coming here for years and it's a real shame how it's changed. We went on a busy day, which is understandable, but the experience was a mess from start to finish. There was a huge line out the door, and unlike just about every other restaurant in existence, they don't use a waitlist system. After waiting an hour, we were told we were next and could even see our table sitting there... just needed to be cleaned. Then, out of nowhere, they sat the next table ahead of us. Then the next one. Then the next one. We stood there another 20 minutes while the slowest busser in the history of restaurants, slowly worked through tables as several other staff members stood around chatting. When we finally sat down, we noticed half the dining room was empty. How can there be an hour-long line and that many open tables? Poor management is the only explanation. Once seated, things didn't get better. They were out of several menu items, and the food we did get wasn't any better than the quick-service options in the park. The salmon was straight up overcooked and fishy. The server was doing her best so I don't blame her, but honestly, most of the staff, especially the front of the house, seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else. If you can avoid this place when it's busy, do yourself a favor and skip it. Grab something faster elsewhere, you'll save time, money, and frustration.

This is nice air conditioning restaurant with table service. The decor is of the old west with booth seating and patio seating. Your food comes from an area where there is a stagecoach. They know who to make a delicious mango margarita. Carol was my server and she asked me for my drivers license in order to have a margarita. I took it as a compliment. I was served a fresh delicious salad with habanero sauce and avocado sauce on the side. This is a wonderful family restaurant. From the patio you can see the cast in their western attired walking through the area. Price point for our meal was moderate. The grilled chicken sandwich with fries was filling. Michelle took over when Carol went on break. Michelle was just as gracious as Carol was.

Haven't been here for a while and so glad we stopped by for lunch. They have a special edition menu with a yummy bourbon peach twisted tea and strawberry blondie Sunday. We also ordered the Baked Mac n Cheese with BBQ Pulled Pork and Mashed Potatoes & Ultimate Nachos with steak. Both items were so delicious and satisfying. The fried onions and gravy were the perfect toppings to the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. Very friendly and quick service. Very nice decors inside. Makes you feel like you're in the Old Wild West, especially since they're located inside Ghost Town at Knott's. Definitely heading back here again!

My family and I have seen the lines out the door for this table service restaurant, so we decided to try it out for lunch on our last visit to Knott's. We were there on a Saturday in June (lunchtime ~11:30 am) and the wait time was ~less than 5 minutes. We ordered: grilled chicken sandwich (with a side salad), hand carved turkey club, grilled mac n cheese with grilled bbq pork (bbq pork was delicious), and from the kids menu- fettuccine with meat balls in marinara sauce with garlic bread (side of fruit and for dessert, a scoop of boysenberry ice cream). All the items from the sandwiches and more section of the menu were large portions, so they're good enough to share. Instead, save room for the boysenberry ice cream :). For the ambience, our family enjoyed the air conditioning for a warm summer day in June. Don't forget to present your season pass to your server for a discount.

    Lobster Bisque
    Pete R.

On a whim, we decided to try Ghost Town Grill for dinner since we were already at Knott's Berry Farm. The restaurant is inside the park near the Blacksmith and Pitchur Gallery, so you do need to purchase admission for the park to enter. The restaurant was empty, so we were able to be seated right away. We ordered two bowls of lobster bisque and two of the grilled ribeye entrees. I did enjoy the bisque, but found it to be lacking in lobster pieces. It was served with crackers, but would have been much better if accompanied by toast. Both steak entrees were ordered medium, but one came out more medium rare, but was edible. The second steak came out looking like a skilled vet could bring it back to life. We sent this one back, and waited...and waited. By the time we got the replacement, we had finished the other steak and sides and just opted to take the replacement to go. This steak came out towards the medium-well end of the spectrum. Not too impressed with the food....or the service...as we repeatedly had to flag someone down.

Located in the Knott's Berry Farm park. Lot of western vibe, as is fitting for the area. A bit dark, but it's good mood lighting. Prices were theme-park appropriate, so not cheap but decent. The service was fast and good. The food itself was shockingly good. Especially for a theme park. Lots of meat, good quality, just all around an excellent choice. Bonus if you go during the boysenberry festival. The boysenberry Hefeweizen was fantastic.

Like it's so insane!!! It's like walking into a Rock n' Roll hall of fame museum or something. It's very spacious inside and very vibrant!!! The wings were so bomb and fresh!!! The happy hour red cabineret wine was also good!! The service was actually outstanding here!!! The hostess was very nice and sweet, she helped out the whole time and let us move from the seat we didn't want to sit at. Also, our server Ray was just amazing!!! Very nice and personable. She recommended good things to eat off the menu. Thanks for that!!! The manager Ed was also really nice and was the best!!! He was super cool and very down to earth!! Exceptional customer service is def here at Rock & Brews!! I will come back here for sure !!! They have happy hour everyday and really good menu. I recommend here! -Marshay D.

Although CJ's was a much better restaurant from 1977-2005 when privately run by the Nickoloff family and took another quality hit when the otherwise excellent Landry's chain took over in 2010, the remaining locations, including this one, are still decent sit down, casual, and family dining restaurants. After visiting several times for lunch and dinner on both weekdays and weekends during both peak and non-peak hours, in our opinion, Yelpers who have complained about poor service both from servers and seaters as well as the seats being run down have not had a typical experience here. Although getting seated was a little slow on several of our visits, the people who seated did not have a bad attitude and on a few occasions it was our server. Although several of our servers here were friendly and attentive, Austin on our last visit, really did a good job. This is one of the only remaining CJ's that still has a salad bar and we have gotten it on several visits. We have also had the ribs and chicken pot pie at this location as well as some of their cocktails. Although it is sad that soup is no longer included in the salad bar, the food quality is still good and comparable to other renaming CJ locations such as in San Diego and Vegas (Henderson). This CJ's is located in a strip mall with limited parking and is across the street from Knott's Berry Farm. Parking can be difficult and the spaces are small, but we have always been able to find a spot so far. There are several other good restaurants in the area, but if you are visiting Knott's and want a sit down, casual, and family dining experience, this CJ's is a good choice and better than eating at Knott's--CJ's chicken pot pie is bigger and better than Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. The 3.1 current Yelp average for this CJ's location is too low--it should be a 4 star. It cannot be a 5 star unless the return to the former quality and quantity the restaurant had under the Nickoloff family.

Corn pancake was HUGE like a large pizza. Very thin but super gooey, actually couldn't get a grip on it with the tongs because it was falling apart. Ended up having a corn cheese pancake salad but it was still great. Rose tteokbokki was pretty weak in terms of flavor, friends that I came with agreed that the flavoring wasn't as strong as it usually was, and they're regulars here! Pork belly dish deserves its own paragraph. I mean... holy. Had a muscat iced drink to share for the table, we subbed out maekgeolli for milk for a nonalcoholic option. They also offered yogurt as a substitute! Very strong on the muscat flavor and so refreshing. Overall, we were in and out in about 30 minutes. I didn't even see them pick up or give back the credit card, that's how fast they move.
