I have been to Knotts Berry farm multiple times and have never seen this restaurant till this time, so we had to try. There was no wait. However, our order took a long time to be served, and the manager came and gave us complementary soup, which was nice. When we finally got our food, the macaroni and cheese was one of the best Mac and cheese. This is a good sit down restaurant if you need a nice AC break at Knott's. We waited 20 minutes for a table, but you were able to leave your name and phone number and come back with a drink when your table was ready. I had the Baked Mac and cheese with pulled pork. Ghost Town Grill is a breath of fresh air from your usual theme park food fare. Located inside Knott's Berry Farm right across from Old Betsy. If you want to try something different than your usual burgers, french fries, and hot dogs, then come here. Ghost Town Grill has a plethora of different offerings to suit anyone's needs. From what I recall, this place, along with Johnny Rockets, are the only two places that you sit down and have an actual waiter. 5/5 Philly Cheesesteak For those Philly Cheesesteak lovers, can't go wrong here. Pro tip: dump the bread and put the Cheesesteak on your fries instead. 5/5 Pork belly grilled cheese Grilled to perfection, nice cheesy pull, and the sauce has a sweet/savory flavor. This is my favorite place to eat in the park. Especially during Knotts Scary farm. You can't beat the spooky atmosphere it provides if you sit outside in Ghost town and don't mind enduring the fog machines. It makes for a great experience. I'll take my chicken with a side of scary monster, thank you. The actors do not care that you're eating dinner at all. They will get right up in your face while you have a spoon in your mouth. I love it. The tables all have little candles on them and its a very picture worthy experience. During normal hours I focus more on the food. Its good but nothing too amazing. The mash potatoes are a bit blan, chicken sandwich could use a bit more sauce but for the price I still think its worth it. The prices aren't jacked up for an amusement park but rather normal restaurant prices which is a win in my book. read more

We've collectively been to Knotts 60 times, at least. We all missed this place! How? So wild!! It was a nice lunch stop on a hot day. Cool and comfy. Menu has a little something for everyone. We tried: Mac and cheese with pork- quite yummy and a good size. A patty melt - great flavor and crunch French dip - lacked flavor Greek salad - big. Good. Too much dressing and couscous though! I'm a Knott's season pass holder. I don't normally purchase food while at the park, but if I have a guest with me I'll eat whatever they would like. Usually, they pick Johnny Rockets, but I've eaten at a few other places in the park. This by far is my favorite spot. So many menu options. While slightly pricier than other places in the park, it is well worth it! First it has air conditioning! Second, the food quality is by far better than most eateries in the park. The portion sizes are HUGE! Plus they serve beer & wine so..... what's not to love??? I've eaten the salads, carne asada fries, boysenberry chicken quesadilla and I haven't been disappointed as I have been with other eateries in the park. I'd rather pay a few extra bucks to eat here and enjoy my food rather than pay a few bucks less and wish I'd brought my own lunch. If your scouting for a good place to stop and eat inside the park, this is your best bet. I highly recommend this spot. read more

Gravy was bland, kind of had a strange aftertaste. The seasonal veggies weren't great. I couldn't eat them. The mashed potatoes had skin in them, and didn't taste great, also had an aftertaste. My daughter had the Mac and cheese with the pulled pork. I tried hers and it was good, the fries were decent. If I was to order here again it would be this. My mom had a burger and fries. Her burger was over cooked and slightly burned on one side. Just ok she said. My husband had the bbq chicken. His chicken was dry, and he had to ask for more bbq sauce. His cheesy bacon scalloped potatoes were not fully cooked. I tried them, the were crunchy, and weren't cheesy, nor did we see any bacon. Bottom line, not worth the wait or prices. Honestly, the food here was better than I expected. It's not a 5-star restaurant by any means but it's pretty decent for theme park food. I was quite impressed by their vegetarian sandwich which is filled with eggplant (which I opted out of because I'm not a big fan), zucchini, cheese, and pesto. For theme park food this burger wasn't bad at all...and a good size to share if you still want to enjoy rides afterwards. It came with a good amount of decent fries too. I don't think that Knotts Berry Farm realizes that with all the forced fog during Scary Farm, it was practically impossible to find. After asking multiple employees, we finally found it hidden in the dark and fog. It was nice to get a glass of decent chardonnay at regular restaurant prices...I think $8.25 a glass. Our service was good but the normal restroom across the street was closed so the scariest part of Scary Farm was traversing from Ghost town grill to the open restroom while getting accosted by multiple zombies. On returning to the grill I thought I had made it back unscathed when just as I was about to open the restaurant door a zombie succeeded in eradicating my chardonnay buzz. read more

We usually like this place but my son's chicken tenders were drynand salty and the turkey on my sandwich was dry also. Fries were okay, the best part of the meal was the boysenberry punch! In my opinion this is the best option for a sit down meal inside the park. Snag a patio table if you can and enjoy people watching and the rhythmic clang of the blacksmith across the street. Food is fresh. I enjoyed a bread bowl with the soup of the day (Italian wedding soup, very good) for $10.99 and my kid liked the burger and fries for $9.99 which comes with a drink and ice cream. AP discount applies. No bathroom here! We had to finish quick and head to the one through the gallery when my toddler decided she had to go. Plan ahead with littles in tow. Their menu is pricey but what can you expect from a theme park establishment? Their food has big proportions though, so if you're mildly hungry but don't want to pay for full meals, I suggest you share an appetizer or two as they come a little cheaper but still have mildly big proportions. If you MUST come here, I suggest getting the buffalo wings (which come with ranch and celery) or the steak nacho fries. Customer service is lacking from the hostess. Walked in with one party ahead of us. We could see four empty tables. After waiting 5 minutes, the hostess asked how many in our group and walked away. For another 15 minutes she stood behind the hostess stand doing nothing or occasionally walked away and set cleaned tables. ZERO communication from her to people waiting. Not once did she tell us there is a wait or say anything that it would be a few minutes. Horrible customer service! The host is the first person to greet a guest and she failed miserably. For a restaurant in a theme park, this has pretty good food at fair prices with great servers. I have been here twice. The last time was when Knotts opened to season pass holders at the end of the Covid pandemic. We have had the ghost town burger, salads (arugula and quinoa) and street style tacos. All were good. The portions and quality were very good. (Unlike the House of the Mouse where portions are very small, taste is mehhh and the prices are nuts.) The Ghost Town Grill is worth checking out. read more

Ordered bottle of white wine, wines and beers were expensive, selections were very limited. The food prices were not bad for the portions, and they tasted very good. Our food: Black bean burger with salad, BBQ burger with fries, grilled chicken salad with a side order of grilled chicken, chicken tender with fries and Cajun shrimp & chicken pasta. My black bean burger was one of the best I have ever had, even sister loved it, she has never had veggie burger before. Grilled chicken was so tender and flavorful, salad was very fresh. Pasta was so good, generous amount of shrimp and chicken in it, the Cajun sauce was bomb. The BBQ burger patty was a bit too well done but still acceptable. Our little boy liked his chicken tenders, he got ice cream for free. Loved the food, the themed restaurant was fun to look at, the service was very attentive and friendly. Horrible old place. The staff is nice and the place is alright for it being old . I asked to go to the restroom and the nice young lady told me there wasn't a restroom because the place was old! Then we got the food and it was MEH. That's not the chefs and cooks fault either if I may say. It's KNOTTS BERRY FARMS fault. They allow trash to pass while charging full price for admission and not having a basic restroom with a sink to wash hands. You'd think after waiting 25 mins for a table someone would say " you know what, we don't have a restroom" but no you have to wait for the server to tell you there is no restroom which is HIGHLY pathetic. I won't be returning to ghost town grill unless management and knotts higher up can give me an answer on the horribleness that is ghost town grill. Again. Located in Ghost Town, this little restaurant has a cool western theme and is better than most of the other fast food places in the park. My son and I have eaten here twice, and we were impressed by how good the food and service were both times! At our first visit here, my son ordered the kid's Chicken Tenders, and I had the Steak Salad. My son really enjoyed his meal. I snuck a few of his fries and thought these were really good too. My salad was good as well, but I thought the steak was just a tad dry. On our next visit, we thought our meals were even better. My son said his Chicken Tenders were "awesome", and I thought my Chicken Salad was delicious. We also tried their ice cream for dessert. They generously added a scoop of the boysenberry ice cream at no charge, and I thought this was nice. While my son likes the regular vanilla ice cream, I loved the boysenberry. I thought it was creamy and delicious! The service was great at the Ghost Town Grill. I like that they hire more mature employees here. Although not overly friendly, the staff seems more professional and thoughtful than a younger staff might be. They were checking on us constantly, refilling our drinks, and asking if we needed anything else. Everyone was nice and helpful. It's always nice to sit and relax after a long day at the park!
