Very disappointed in giggle fiber. I switched from spectrum a couple years back because we had frequent outages. Come 2024, I experience just as many outages as I did with spectrum but also latency issues on high traffic times. I guess giggle fiber is an enemy of their own success. They pulled the classic bait and switch - grabbing a bunch of customers saying they have reliable fast and cheap internet. They have since stopped caring about maintaining high quality service. I will consider going back to spectrum or att even though they only have 100 mbps speeds until fiber is in my area. What is the point of having 1000Mbps if I can't even get a reliable connection!? We signed up for Giggle Fiber last week and it's already the best decision we've made. After only having access to Frontier for 3 years we were happy that Giggle has now been installed in our apartment complex. (Our neighbors who run 2 online businesses actually were partitioning for a WHILE to get it installed, so we were keen to try based on their recommendation.) We had the fastest available internet through Frontier and still had issues with slow speeds. 3 years later and I'm still very happy with Giggle Fiber! In the 3+ years we've been with Giggle Fiber, we've had maybe two outages and I think one of them turned out to be because our router needed a device driver update. Also, I haven't had to play the pricing games that I did with Spectrum, calling after a promo rate to request a discounted rate again (which they started to deny toward the end). It's been a very reasonable price throughout, with maybe one $5 price hike over the 3+ years. Most important, however, is that it has been RELIABLE service -- which was why I hated Spectrum so much. I wrote a review of Google Fiber shortly after we switched from horrible Time Warner (now Spectrum) internet 9 years ago. And, 9 years later I'm still satisfied. There might be somewhat cheaper providers out there that provide good service, but Giggle JUST WORKS so I'm not inclined to switch. Made an appointment for installation on Saturday 5/17/25 in the afternoon and Leo showed up super fast right at the beginning of my requested timeframe at 2 PM sharp. Very punctual! The customer service is excellent! We had to upgrade our wifi for a fantasy football draft. (Very important, I know.) Not only did they work with us to upgrade our mbps for just one month, but they also provided us with their mesh network to try out during this period of time. And when we ran into an issue with the connection after the installation, Oscar was easy to get a hold of and took the time to problem solve the issue with me. The best internet service provider I have ever worked with. I genuinely feel valued as a customer, and have been treated with utmost respect and consideration, even as a small business. Some context, my landlord needed a slew of documents before the ISP could install a single internet cable. The process took significant back and forth with the landlord, at no fault to the ISP, but the entire team at Giggle Fiber was diligent and worked tirelessly to finish the project. All of my 12 electronic devices wireless speeds increase significantly up to 30X as compare to using my old internet service provider. I have been a happy customer after switched from Spectrum to Giggle Fiber. Few days ago my internet became unstable, called the support, technician Leo came next morning. He replaced the cable line from the pole to house, unfortunately, he needed to go through the crawl space to reach the modem. Leo has a very positive mindset, dressed up crawl space suit, went under and got the job done. Internet was back but still not stable, Leo explained, the other technicians need to replace the connector up on the pole, they were too busy with other locations, but will come next day. As he mentioned, next day afternoon, Frank and JP showed up for the repairs. They quickly went up the pole and found out one of the neighbor's tab also got some issue. They got all problems resolved quickly, our internet is back on, speedy 500 MB! I am happy! read more

Long time Giggle Fiber customer since the company moved into Monrovia. Things were great for years but my wifi became spotty recently. The problem was that the modem was old and needed to be switched out to the Aris. I did try the fancy cube thing, but that bulky box made my service fail for weeks. Frustrated, and for having learned that I had somehow overpaid for two years worth of services due to a glitch caused by autopay banking, Giggle Fiber accounting said that they would not refund my excess money paid because it "can't". Therefore, I was super cranky.... because, the only way to get over $1200 of my money back is to either upgrade and discontinue paying monthly invoices for a year+, or sue. As I don't want to sue, my feelings changed when the wifi that I've overpaid on nearly two years into the future is not working for a hamburger today. But then technician Justin, shows within an hour of my severe complaint over the phone, and like a magician, Justin fixed everything to make all work, except for the phone... It seems that the phone line has died, but at least I have wifi to take care of business. Technician Justin figured that my old house made with plaster walls and printer near modem caused interference with wifi and streaming. Kudos to Justin saving the day so that I can get on with business and saving all of us from court. I would though like my money returned, and I guess the phone line signal needs reset on the HQ end. I think though that the accountant can send me a check for my overpayment, or do I charge 28% APR interest? read more

It's sufficient speed for my remote work, my son's gaming, 3 smart phones and 1 TV. He was able to install the modem in my office unlike the Spectrum technician who said there was no active line. Even when Leo didn't have a long enough cable he dropped one of the next morning. It's not been quite a year yet since we got giggle fiber. The process of installation was great overall and the service even better. During the wildfires, although we were not in an evac area we could see the fire too close for comfort and was touch and go during the powerful winds and later threats of winds. During this time, the only time we lost the internet was when we lost power. When power was restored the internet came up and never went down. This was so important to us to stay connected during this time. As others have said, I think it the best decision we made for reliability as well as financially. read more

I had Giggle Fiber for a year long without an issue, and this morning I lost the connection within a second, and when I reconnected, it show's Spectrum. Before this issue happened, I never had a connection issue with Giggle Fiber. I use their 1Gig plan, I had 0 issue with all my 20 devices simultaneously. Even when I have friend visit, raise the devices to 30-40, everything is still good. An internet provider provides good and reliable service, definitely worth your trust. Shout out to Leo 757, the technician from Giggle Fiber. He is a very nice, patient gentleman, fixed everything that Spectrum did and get me back online again. Appreciate his help! ----- Complaint about spectrum below ----- The reason I lost the internet because a new neighbor just moved in and they decided to go with Spectrum, totally fine. However, the service person from Spectrum CUT GIGGLE FIBER's line without doing any test, they just connect everything to Spectrum's service, because they didn't use the toner to test the signal. My cable was connected to Spectrum's internet without a notice. I couldn't connect to the internet for almost two days because of WONDERFUL SPECTRUM service. I have been a customer of theirs for 7 months and have had nothing but fantastic internet speed, great customer experience, and simplicity that I have not experienced anywhere else. My experience with Giggle Fiber is still in progress, but so far they've been really amazing, and very distinct from the large and impersonal Internet providers I'm accustomed to dealing with. I originally got in touch with Giggle via a friend who recently had it installed. I was visiting this friend while they were doing his installation, and I mentioned how it'd be great to get Giggle at my place as well. The installer was very helpful, and put me in touch with Eric @ Giggle, who jumped right into the process of seeing what was possible. After a few phone calls as well as site visits from both Eric and their engineer Andrew, Eric let me know the great news that Giggle would be able to provide services to us. My location is a multi-unit property that posed various challenges for the installation, but that didn't rattle Eric at all. He was incredibly on top of everything and followed up via phone and text with status updates and answered any questions that myself or the other residents had in a calm, friendly, and professional manner. As mentioned, this is all still in progress, so I'll try to get back here with updates once all is said and done. But so far, so good! read more

I have had Giggle Fiber service for over 7 years. It is a trouble-free service. I don't have the highest speed they offer but the speed I have more than suits my needs. Between 4 and 6 devices simultaneously are attached and there are no connection issues. Giggle outages I experience are about one in 18 months, averaging between 20 minutes to 2 hours. They have personnel who can immediately tend to issues. Their customer service is the best. I don't have to wade through a series of annoying menu options only to be put on a lengthy hold before being connected to an off-shore script reader who ultimately is unable to solve my issue. When I call Giggle, an American human, who is stationed less than a mile from my home, answers the line and immediately begins to solve the issue. The price I pay for the service is a real bargain. Twice, they have increased the speed without increasing the subscription rate. They are a local business whose staff has full knowledge of the equipment and infrastructure they have and the communities they serve, which are among the reasons why they are an exceptional business. If they were able to increase their service to neighboring cities, they would destroy the competition (Spectrum, Frontier, and AT&T), and make thousands of internet users very happy. read more
