Finally tried this place out since it took over Paris Pastries. The menu features Latin influenced menu items such as chilaquiles, birria. The service is attentive and friendly. The presentation of food is beautiful. Cost is reasonable for the quality you get. I ordered the Benedict eggs with salmon on potato leeks and this dish was savory and salty. I wish the salad had more sweetness to it to balance out the strong salt flavor from the bennys, it would have made this dish stellar for me. Their coffee features latte art and I love latte art! Smooth and balanced. They are busy for good reason. I would love to return and try other items on their menu. read more

So the wife and I stopped by here for a quick bite to celebrate my nephews 12th birthday with the whole family. Once we made our way in we got a warm welcome from Marcos the server. The wife ordered the shrimp pasta a la brava and she loved it. I went with the tri tip sandwich with fries and loved it! It had the right amount of fat and wasn't too chewy like sometimes when ordering a tri tip sandwich. The restaurant has a good family vibe especially with Marcos as a server, who was very personable. This was our first time here for breakfast. It is my birthday and wanted a nice atmosphere cafe. I had the fresh Belgium Waffle with berries and fresh whip cream. My husband had their huge breakfast everything burrito. It was really good and great service. Our waitress was Nancy. She was helpful, sweet, and always checked on us. Vanessa was a great waitress. Prices are a bit high it was for one plate we split and two drip coffees over $30 but portion was big so that helped. Service was great and we sat outside. Definitely split meals here it'll help with cost and portion was large enough to do it. There is a wait so go early. read more

Been here so many times its our "go to" spot since they 1st opened. I kid you not when I say I have never had a bad meal or encountered bad service. I love this spot I love the food the atmosphere and the family who run this establishment. On our Wednesday Dec 30th visit we had once again phenomenonal food and service and a huge huge shot out to Danni who was such a delight and was so funny. We let our cheerful waitress Nancy know it was our first time there for breakfast this morning. She was helpful in our ordering and her suggestions did not disappoint starting with the Spanish Latte. Ordered the baked mushroom skillet that came with a beautiful salad and yummy dressing I might add. Hubby ordered steak and eggs and he ate every bite except one which he shared with me the steak which was juicy and flavorful. Nancy checked in regularly and our first visit here was rock star like all the staff from the fella seating us and the fella who brought out our food. The restaurant had a constant flow of guests with seating inside and out. A pleasant decor to include the food at other tables, you eat with your eyes first. Today was my second time at Gina's. My boyfriend and I got their everything breakfast burrito (not pictured) and we both agree that it is one of the best we've ever had. Tried Gina's Kitchen for the first time on Sunday 03/09/25. The food and service was amazing! We came in the morning around 9am and were seated right away. Marcos was our waiter, he was very nice and checked on us many times throughout our visit. Very attentive. The decor is very cute, the only thing I would say is that the chairs are uncomfortable for someone with a big . Lol the black metal part in the back and lower portion of the chair was digging into me. I looked around to see if there were any alternatives and only outside I think I saw different chairs but it was way too cold to sit out there. I would recommend that they have an alternative for these chairs and those that want to dine inside. We had the traditional breakfast plate, one with pancakes and one with French toast. My mom had the breakfast enchiladas. We also had a chai and a dirty chai. Everything was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend trying Gina's Kitchen + Catering. read more

If youre looking for a healthy hearty and delicious breakfast or brunch spot, this is it. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, the service is excellent and everyone is so friendly and helpful (shoutout to VANESSA) I dont usually like French toast but here, it is sooo good. Not dry and not mushy but just right and sooo flavorful. The pancakes are also some of the best i have ever had. While the restaurant may be within its rights to do so, I found the policy disappointing and would have appreciated more flexibility.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Gina's Kitchen and Catering a few times now, and on each occasion, I've been met with the most delightful and attentive service from the same server. However, my recent experience left me feeling conflicted due to an interaction with the owner, which impacted the overall dining experience. Last week, I decided to bring some friends to check out the restaurant, and I was delighted to find that our usual server was there to assist us once again. However, our initial encounter with another staff member, an older white lady with a big hair bun, was less than satisfactory. Her lack of warmth, failure to introduce herself, or offer any guidance on the menu left us feeling unwelcome and unsure. After a brief wait, the lady returned to take our order, and her demeanor remained far from pleasant. She seemed disinterested and appeared to be forcing a smile. It was only when we inquired about her role that we discovered she was, in fact, the owner of the restaurant. This revelation was quite surprising, given her approach to customer service. Once we finally placed our order, the food arrived with delicious flavors and impressive presentation. The dishes, including the Pork Chuletas, Salmon Benedicts, Avocado toast, and French toast, were undoubtedly a highlight of our dining experience. Despite the enjoyable food, it was disappointing that the owner never made an effort to check on us throughout our meal. Our usual server, on the other hand, was proactive in ensuring everything was to our liking and making sure we had an enjoyable time. Upon further observation, we noticed that the owner, in addition to being the owner, also served as a server herself, primarily focusing on the bar area and a large party seated in the middle of the restaurant. This seemed to explain why she neglected her other tables, including ours and those at the bar. It's disheartening to see her prioritize certain areas while ignoring others, especially when there are several servers working on the floor who could have attended to those tables. The most concerning aspect was the possibility that she might be taking tables from her servers and pocketing their tips. As a patron, it's incredibly upsetting to witness such behavior. The owner should prioritize checking on customers and ensuring their satisfaction, not taking orders and potentially withholding tips from her hardworking employees. While I'm a supporter of small businesses and have enjoyed the delectable food at Gina's Kitchen and Catering, I find it difficult to endorse a business with such questionable practices. No matter how great the food is, mistreating employees and neglecting customers is unacceptable. I sincerely hope the management addresses these issues and ensures a more equitable and customer-focused experience for all. read more

Seeing as my first experience was amazing, I decided to bring a friend for a brunch date. It was a bit busier than my last visit, so we opted for dining in the patio area. The patio was a bit crowded in terms of the seating arrangement, but we made it work. Both my friend and I were talking about matcha beforehand, so it was only fitting that we try out the iced matcha latte. The presentation of the drinks was beautiful, having the Biscoff cookie as garnish was a nice treat. However, and I hate to say this, it was seriously lacking flavor. The strawberry and ube flavors hardly came through and the matcha was underwhelming. Pair this with the drink melting because we're dining outside, and it was just a watery drink with soggy cookie at the bottom. I would not recommend for someone who really values a quality crafted matcha latte. As for the food and service, it was hit and miss this time. My friend had ordered the Chilaquiles Divorciados with steak based on my recommendation and when the food came out, we had to ask for the steak. The beans were also underwhelming, likely because they were not HOT hot, as preferred, and lacking some flavor. The machaca omelet was definitely a hit! The meat was done well and a good portion of it was served with veggies inside the omelet. This was a great choice for lots of protein. I also found my potatoes to be a lot better than my first visit - more flavor and cooked perfectly. Overall, I'd still recommend Gina's Kitchen for a savory and hearty brunch. read more

Ginas is a hidden gem in rancho! I'm visiting family here in the IE from North Carolina and they had raved about a new brunch spot.. Now I cannot stop coming to Ginas kitchen! My favorite by far is their French toast along with their papas bravas! My husband is absolutely in love with the chilaquiles especially because it comes along with a good amount of steak! The Spanish latte is the kind you'd want every morning!!! My son loves the smiley face pancake everytime. The staff/ service is some of the best! No matter what day or time you go in they always have greeted me with a smile on their faces and make me feel like no request is too big. Starting with the host Frankie I believe is his name, he makes you feel welcomed and tries to get you seated in a timely matter if possible. Sometimes they have a wait which is expected with amazing food! It's worth it Every.Single.Time! Marelis is an amazing server.. Father's Day Disappointment I truly wish I could comment on the food at Gina's, but unfortunately, I never got the chance to try it. I made a reservation in advance and even had confirmation to show upon arrival, only to be told that my reservation could not be found. The staff kindly added us to the waitlist and estimated a wait time of 30 minutes to an hour something I was willing to accept. However, after waiting over two hours and fifteen minutes without a single follow up call from the restaurant, we ultimately had to leave. Sadly, this was a major disappointment, especially as this was my first Father's Day. My wife had planned this as a special surprise, and we were both looking forward to the breakfast buffet experience. To make matters worse, we had our five month old infant with us. Anyone who's been a parent knows how challenging it can be to manage a baby in extreme heat we were dealing with 110° California weather while waiting this long to be seated. I genuinely hope others have a better experience, but for us, this was not the warm welcome or celebration we had hoped for on such a meaningful day. read more

We had the most amazing experience at Gina's Kitchen and Catering and cannot recommend it enough. We came in as a party of 12 to celebrate a friend's birthday, and from start to finish the service and hospitality were outstanding. Marcos, our server, truly went above and beyond in every way. Not only was he attentive, kind, and on top of everything for a large group, but he made the birthday celebration so special. When the cake came out, he took videos for us, did a fun birthday dance with our friend, and then made sure to send all of the videos to us afterward -- such a thoughtful and unexpected touch that meant so much. The entire staff was incredible. Everyone was friendly, patient, and genuinely cared that we were having a great time. Managing a group of 12 is no small task, but they made it feel effortless and made us feel so well taken care of. Worth the Wait (Mostly)! I had heard amazing things about Gina's Kitchen and Catering, so naturally, I had been dying to try it. And let me tell you--the food did not disappoint! We went all in and tried the Hot Chicken & Waffle, Chef's Eggs Benny, Avocado Toast, and Chilaquiles Divorciados. The portions? Huge. The flavors? Delicious. My friend inhaled every last bite of her hot chicken, raving about how it was flavorful without setting her mouth on fire. The beans? Next-level good. Now, let's talk chilaquiles--I liked the green sauce way more than the red (team verde all the way!). As for the Eggs Benedict, while I'm usually a Benny superfan, the potato leek cakes made it a little too heavy for my taste. The only downside? The wait. I'd raved about the food, but I don't think he fully believed me until now. He's now a true believer, already planning our next visit before we even left the restaurant. Another wonderful breakfast at Gina's. Gina's is great. It's where I love to get Mexican breakfast. We have tried everything on the menu, and it is all delicious. They never let me down! "Have you tried Gina's?" is such an exciting question to ask friends because they know they will get to try these delicious foods and drinks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food comes out quickly and tastes great!! This place has a great vibe! It's great for parties and special treats. I really like how food is used here. There's nothing I love more than getting food that looks so good that I have to record movies of it, lol. During this visit, we were enjoying the fact that I got into college! It was a good experience trying this place. The service was great. The attendant , sorry forgot her name was very nice and courteous. The place was very homey. Felt the essence of home cooking. We ordered a lot of Mexican food and most of them were delicious and had a big size serving . I ordered grilled chicken salad with chipotle dressing and their signature cinnamon roll. Salad was ok . The greens were a lot. The cinnamon roll was not that fluffy and didn't taste that much cinnamon. But the toppings of whipped cream , sugar melted glaze and strawberry on top made the sweetness. The other dishes were ordered by my family and they were satisfy . For sure we will be back . I had an absolutely amazing brunch experience at Gina's, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Havana! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel so welcome and was so attentive throughout the entire meal. She recommended the margaritas panini, which was absolutely fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance of crispy and soft. The chilaquiles were to die for too--so rich and packed with bold flavors. Havana also suggested their signature French toast, and it was the perfect dessert to round out our meal. My girlfriend and I came by today for another amazing brunch, the service was so top notch and of course we were taken care of by the one and only Marcos G. He's always amazing and takes care of us to the best of his abilities, he recommended to me to try something new today such as the Rancho Burger. The food always is amazing but his recommendation was just amazing , it tasted so fresh and was so delicious! The ambiance as well is amazing and never seems to overwhelms and actually is so comforting and I feel like it's all family! Marcos is the main server I always ask for because he always just knows how to treat my girlfriend and I so well. I had somewhat of a disappointing experience at Gina's Kitchen recently. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our server was inattentive and made several mistakes. My order was incorrect, I received a dirty cup, and my food arrived after everyone else had finished eating. The food quality was exceptional and made up for the service issues. I ordered the milanesa chicken torta with chips, which was delicious. My family also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. While the service fell short, which is why it earned 4 stars, the food was absolutely outstanding. The chef deserves high praise for the excellent cuisine. If I could give zero stars, I would. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had. The place looked dirty, the tables weren't properly cleaned, and the overall atmosphere felt neglected. The food was even worse--overcooked, flavorless, and borderline inedible. It honestly tasted like no care went into it at all. Portions were small, prices were high, and nothing about the meal justified the cost. Service was painfully slow, and the staff came across as rude and dismissive, like customers were an inconvenience. We had to ask multiple times for basic things, and even then it took forever. First time coming here and we had a great experience. Initially, we were on a waitlist for 35-45 minutes, however, i received a text saying they can seat my group now. I told them I was 10 minutes away and they still accommodated us. Our waiter was Marcos and he was phenomenal. Very attentive to our needs and amazing with children. He has good vibes and loves to make his customers laugh by joking around. We ordered Gina's Omelette, hot chicken and waffles, spaghetti and meatballs, and a side Caesar Salad. I remembered this because Iron Skillet has got to be the fastest on the draw in terms of keeping you coffee topped off. I counted in the first fifteen minutes I was there, I had my coffee refilled four times and probably eight times in the span of the forty-five minutes I was there. The only slowdown I saw was when they dropped off the bill. Suddenly after that no one was checking on me to see if I needed more coffee. I guess they figured that I had had enough and were cutting me off. That's a mistake because as long as I'm sitting at breakfast I'm going to want coffee. The second thing I noticed was they have a damn good skillet program here, especially if want to experiment with creating your own. It was something like $15.50 to put in three mix-ins for your skillet, but only $1.50 to make the mix-ins unlimited. This time I kept it simple--sausage, ham, green peppers, and onions along with customary cheddar and three eggs--but next time I'm going to experiment a little. The skillet itself was amazing. The portion was generous, the produce was fresh, and the eggs were super runny. It really is in contention for the best traditional skillet I've ever had. The other thing that could've put it in the running for best skillet overall is if they had some exotic offerings for protein like I've had elsewhere in the country like elk, smoked pulled pork, duck, walleye, or even rabbit. Skillets are good, but skillets with like an animal you don't normally see for breakfast is amazing. I'm still on the lookout for my goat skillet. The service, as aforementioned, was impeccable. The coffee refills is the main thing I complain about other breakfast joints and here I never even had a thought to getting upset regarding that for the first portion of the meal. My only critique as you may have guessed is to continue that generosity and initiative for the whole meal. I really want me to toy with breaking double digits with the amount of coffee refills I receive during a meal. And that's only going to happen if you continue to ask me after you drop off the bill. The ambience is good. It looks like a diner. It quacks like a diner. It's a diner. I felt right at home here with all that space and mix of booths, tables, and counter space. I'm definitely planning my trip back here for that superb Build-a-Skillet and that fantastic attention to keeping the coffee overflowing in my mug.
