Three of us got the beef pho and one of of us got the spicy lemongrass and we all got the sliced eye round and brisket as toppings. We all ordered small and while the bowl looked a little small, the portion was actually perfect for us! The broth of the beef pho was rich and flavorful and the sliced eye round was very tender! I only had a sip of the broth of the spicy lemongrass and it had a strong note of pineapple which was very interesting. While I wasn't a big fan of it, my friend who ordered it loved it so that was more of a personal preference. The pho also came with chili oil and it was very yummy and garlicky! I couldn't help myself but kept adding it to my broth which ended up making it too spicy so just be careful of that! My only minor critique for the pho was that the brisket was very dry but all the other components of the pho was so good that I would still give it a 5/5! At the end of our meal, we ordered the ube cheesecake, which I would also give 5/5! The presentation of the cheesecake was very pretty and the balance between the cheesecake and ube was perfect! My new favorite viet spot! They have 2 locations. One in the city and one in queens. If you checked in, you get a free thai tea or coffee. The ambiance feels so elegant once you step inside. This location has a left and right side so it may seem small when you enter but it's not so really. I wish. I can order everything on the menu! Everything on their menu looks good! I really enjoyed the vibes at this place, very pretty decorated and spacious with a whole other room of seats! The serving staff was very friendly and quick to refill our water and inform us about our meal and when it was coming out! I ordered 4 beef phos, shrimp and chicken summer rolls, and the sweet and spicy wings. The flavor of everything was good. My only complaint was the sliced eye of round that was in the beef pho. Every single piece had a long gristle/silver skin attached. We had to rip it off of every piece of meat as it's inedible. It has the texture of soft bone and is extremely chewy and can't be cooked down which is why it's supposed to be cut off before serving. Other than that, everything was fine. read more

They have an additional menu now with more food options! From that menu I like the grilled beef in betel leaf but wasn't a fan of the beef tartare. I love getting the chicken and shrimp spring roll, its consistently so yummy and crispy. I have gotten food here for take out before and realized it is not the same as dining in. I don't recommend ordering take out or delivery from here for your first time trying here. It's not everyday I give out 5 stars with wishes that I could actually give them 10. My entire interaction was perfect from start to finish. I ordered take out. I called during dinner time and felt no rush while placing my order over the phone even though I had a million questions. I eventually settled on the coconut spicy lemongrass soup with shrimp and added bok choy and mushrooms. I arrived in 20 min. As soon as I walked in the door there was a woman at the hostess stand. I could tell she was dealing with receipts and work but she still immediately stopped, smiled and greeted me. When I told her I was there for pick up she walked me over to the bar top to wait and immediately went to the kitchen to check my order. While I was waiting 2 more people came in and she gave each group the same attention. She then came and poured my Thai iced tea after washing her hands. My order was bought out shortly after and when I say my items were wrapped amazing.... Not a single drip wasted. The actual soup. A FREAKING MAZING. I'm tempted to drive across the bridge for more. Came here last weekend for a lunch date @2pm- double date style with my husband, my cousin and her boyfriend. We went on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant wasn't too busy. There was plenty of free tables. The tables had a werid bathroom design feel to it as it was all tiles ?_? We ordered: *Steamed chives dumplings *2 banh mi sandwiches- pork belly & 5-spiced brisket *vermicelli noodle bowl *3 orders of beef pho noodles (eye of round & briskets) with the roasted beef marrow bone roasted beef marrow bones are additional $5 for any pho. The flavor quality of the pho soups had gone down. The brisket were shredded and got stuck in my teeth- wasn't a fan. Expected the sliced brisket not shredded. The chives dumplings look likes the ones you eat at dim sum minus the shrimp- juicy and yummy (not dried out). I enjoyed the pork belly banh mi the most as it was juicy tender. The brisket Bahn mi was more drier and didn't taste all the seasonings- needed more pate. The others pefer the brisket banh mi as well because the pork belly was messier to eat (juice/sauce dripping). It was long slices of pork belly in the sandwich which made it difficult for the others to take a bite. That roasted beef marrow bone- ohhh my goodness! I wish there was more marrow on that bone. My cousin got the least amount, mine was medium and my husband got the best bone as it have the most (deeper cut). Overall yummy and a great afternoon. Good soup! Located far up in Whitestone, this popular pho spot was a safe choice on a windy winter day. The restaurant was spacious, divided into 2 separate areas. The staff was so amiable. Check-in on Yelp for a free Thai Iced Tea/Viet Coffee (no milk alternatives). The Thai Iced Tea was standard sweet, while the Viet Coffee was strong, to the point of tasting like a chocolate malt. We opted for the cheaper bowl for lunch. Note the menu says $13 for the smallest, but it's actually $16. Instead of the sizes being regular and large, this was more like a small and regular. This was the smallest bowl of pho I ever had. But I must say, the Beef Pho ($16) broth was delish! It was incredibly flavored and rich without adding a single condiment in. It also came with lots of beef and even pork, but I couldn't tell through how everything meshed into one dry glob. Their beef pieces must be a different type from typical pho places, as not only were they a pale brown, but they were also incredibly dry. No hoisin or Sriracha sauce could save them. They must have been sacrificed for the hearty soup. A beautifully clean place with friendly staff and smaller portion sized food, this restaurant felt like it belonged in Midtown. The beef pho was okay but the brisket meat was kind of chewy. Also, the small is pretty small and it has very little broth. I haven't had pho in the longest time and this place helped my cravings. The interior is so aesthetically pleasing and the pho was also good! My party and I got the pho and lemon grass noodles, both rich in broth flavors and lots of meats too. I have at least been at this place 6-7 times (might be more than that). This place is the perfect spot for a rainy /snowy day. The ambiance is very warm and the menu is relatively small because they are really focused on the food. They start off by serving you the cucumber mint water! I have tried the Chicken Pho, Beef Pho (brisket, 5 spice, sliced eye round), Vegetarian Pho, fried spring rolls, Tofu steamed bun, Summer Roll, Thai red curry, pandan coconut lemonade, passionfruit lemonade. They also have a selection of cocktails and beers. From all of the above, I will recommend the 5 spice beef pho and the fried spring rolls. The pho sizes come in small and large. I personally think the small is perfect for me but if you're really hungry, go for the large. It's only a $1-$2 difference. The pho is phoking good (the reason why I visited so many times). The other items are mediocre. If I judge purely based on pho - it's a 10! But if I consider other items, it's an 8/10. I've gotten the green curry chicken (a Thai classic) and the chicken and curry both have great flavor. Everything tastes fresh and loaded with umami flavor. Most recently I tried the spicy lemongrass soup which I would highly recommend. Definitely spicy and will clear out your sinuses. Loaded with flavor. The original was also very delicious but the broth is really rich and deep in flavor. I think if I had room for more food, it would've went really well with a side of white rice.
