I love the charm of the mix matched tables and there decadent French toast options are really good but the food is just so so and my coffee is slow to get filled. We have been looking for a homey breakfast place since we moved to Noblesville Indy area. It's been 7 years and we finally found a spot! The staff were so friendly even the manager came around to see how we all were doing and getting to know us. The decor was so cute and home feeling. Besides the home feeling, the food was made fast to order and quite delicious! Coffee and drinks were refilled quickly without even asking. I got the 2-2-2 meal and it was exactly what I wanted! Simple home cooking done well. The six of us had a combination of lunch and breakfast items. The chicken salad was excellent, the biscuits & gravy were great, we had two sides that were both very good, broccoli salad, and orange/pineapple salad. The staff was friendly and attentive. I only gave them 3 stars because some of the items were over cooked and there was a problem with the dishwasher so the flatware was coated with a film. read more

I wanted to stop by Always In Stitches next door, but they didn't open until 10a, so we popped into Ginger's for breakfast. The place is cute with quilts on the walls and mismatched tables and chairs. We weren't very hungry so we asked if we could each order just 1 pancake and split hashed browns, the server teased us saying there was no way they could do that and shaking her head obviously. As far as vegan & vegetarian options, they had salads, but everything else either has cheese or egg. Grilled cheese, omelettes, spinach melt, veggie quiche, french toast and pancakes. Our two pancakes and hashed browns were less than $5 by the way. read more

We've wanted to try this place for a while. Finally did today. The menu is pretty simple (soup/salad/sandwich, breakfast). The food was pretty good. Not to die for, but better than average. We love to support local business, but the kitchen and service was very slow. Took 50 minutes to get our food. Based on that alone we might wait a while before going back. read more

I had my first visit to this cafe this morning for brunch with family. Let me just say, it is over priced for the quality and taste of the food. No one at my table was memorably impressed, but it was definitely enjoyable and decent food. I ordered the Eggs Benedict (it does NOT come with a side) on special and it was $12.95, but it was only mediocre. This is concerning to me because I specifically asked if it was really good as it was one of the more expensive items on the menu. The waitress told me it was one of their most popular items. It just wasn't great and I even ordered spinach and tomato on the side to spice it up. If this is one of their best items, I don't really care to try the rest. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so I assume that this is how it always tastes. Service was quick and friendly though! The inside looks kind of run down and I wasn't a fan of the venue. If other brunch restaurants in the area have a wait, I would consider going back; but this isn't someplace I would recommend in conversation. read more

This review is about the great customer service that is provided by the owner-As I physically haven't been to the location nor eaten there- I had an experience with her over the phone that deserves stellar rating. I live in Chicago and my mother in law is in a rehab facility in Noblesville. Due to the pandemic taking place 2020, we aren't able to be with her. The owner is taking everything into her hands and will put together a nice Turkey Platter with all the sides and fixings for my mother in law and she's going to have it delivered personally to her. I had a lengthy conversation with the owner on the phone- she went above and beyond in taking my situation which I'm deeply saddened by and she's turning it into something amazing! What a true kindness gesture. She's amazing and I can say when I'm down that way, I will most definitely be taking myself to enjoy her amazing place. Food was fantastic. Breakfast served all day until 2pm. Asked the friendly waitress for recommendations. She said - a few recommendations such as meatloaf dinner or biscuits & gravy or mini sampler (I think) which included half spinach melt sandwich (not what I would ever order but it was delicious), side salad, & cup of tomato soup. Waitress was extremely friendly. Restaurant has been there for ~ 7 yrs. Right behind McDonald's. I would definitely recommend their homemade to order breakfast sandwich over McDonald's any day. OH EM GEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I LOVELOVELOVE this place when I'm in town. Whoda thunk you could get a home-cooked meal in a *gasp* strip mall!!!!! Always friendly when I've been there (and that's been with a group of 10 or so!), and I ADORE the "mismatched" tables and chairs! Some people might find that funky, but I think it gives the place a 'down home' feel, like you are visiting friends in their home, and having a meal! I wish I lived closer! read more

Went to Ginger's today hoping for a warm and friendly experience. I was enjoying the fun and quaint decorations. Coffee service was quick and the waitress was friendly. My husband ordered several eggs with sausage. This came with hash browns and two pieces of toast. I ordered an omelet that had a choice of toast or hash browns. I asked for toast. I had a side of bacon. The kitchen was not quick, but it was a holiday. When my food arrived I saw that my companion had two pieces of toast. I only had one. I asked the waitress about it and she replied, "That's how it comes." Then she walked away. When I finally got her attention again I asked for a second piece of toast. She did not tell me how much extra it would cost. So, my second piece of toast cost $1. My omelet was $8.50 (with one piece of toast) and all told the Omelet, toast (2 pc), side of bacon and coffee was $15.44 without tax. What really bothered me was finding out a single piece of bread was a dollar. Seriously? Can't imagine how much that loaf cost. We were offered plenty of coffee but was 2 pieces of toast so difficult? Sorry to say that the apparent stinginess poor communication has lost repeat business. read more

Ginger's has very good home cooked food. Their Chicken Velvet Soup is DELICIOUS! I have this soup every time I eat there! I can't get enough of it! I ordered a cup of the soup the last time I was there, and it tasted soo good, I ask the waitress to bring me another cup, but sadly there wasn't anymore. No surprise there, as it's so good, they sell out! Their Roast beef sandwiches are very good too, but a bit pricey. Very nice waitress every time we have been there. read more

Ok I expect to get exceptional service at places like Sullivans or St. Elmo's but at a Cafe... in Noblesville. Mind blown. Went to lunch with the wife today and thought we would try this place. Sometimes in life you just make really great choices and today was one of those days. They had some specials up on the board and my wife decided to try the meatloaf special and I was going for the chicken liver dinner (bc where else can you find some chicken livers right?). They informed me that the chicken livers are made to order and take about 20 min or so to cook. Since we are on a time crunch I declined and asked what she (the server) would suggest. She suggested the chicken and noodles. Our food came out fast... I mean fast. Everything was fresh and homemade. Felt like home. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE that works there checked on us and made sure that our experience was great. The food was great! But what really got me... what really stood out was the service. When we were about finished one of the servers brought out a little bowl of chicken livers because she heard me order but decline because of the wait but they still wanted me to try them. Really? Who does that? Who is that awesome? The staff at Ginger's that's who! They could have served me shoe leather on a plate and I would probably come back because of the genuine amazing service. First time there today for Mother's Day breakfast. Charming decor, friendly staff and great food. I had the make your own omelette while the husband had corned beef hash and grits. All got 5 stars. We ordered three pieces of pie to go. All good there too but the peanut butter pie gets 10 stars. Do not pass that up. This is not a fancy place. Don't waste your money - try another place. I ordered the hamburger, paid $10 for an obviously pre-packaged frozen hamburger patty (just like the ones from the grocery) and literally (I counted them) FIVE potato chips. Have eaten breakfast here on several occasions. Without a doubt, best service and friendliest staff of any local restaurant. We are always welcomed as soon as we walk in the door and the owner never fails to stop by and to chat and/or make certain everything is to your liking. This place is behind MacDonalds. They both serve food. All simularites end there. While MacDonalds is plastic inside, Gingers is a delight to the eyes once you get past the non-descript out side. The food is breakfast and lunch. I have had the Corned Beef Hash and the Breakfast sandwich. Both with generous sides and fixed to perfection. They are know for their Biscuits and gravy. Only thing I can say is be hungry for that occupys one whole plate! Service is friendly and the food comes quickly but is not over salted fast food. Salads and Signature sandwiches plus unique side dishs (orange and pineapple salad is heavenly) make up lunch menu. Opps forgot the soups -usually three to choose from- and Home made pies including sugar free pecan( delicious!) The club sandwich was so generous that I could only eat half and I am a big man. There is a kids menu and toys, games and other distraction to occupy kids of all ages. This place is a real find in Noblesville. So far no other restaurant has come close to maching them.
