This place isn't special in DAYTON! You can get deep dish pizzas elsewhere. I get deep dish pizzas from Uno's downtown every other week or so. It's delicious! Much better than Giordano's! Even if you can't DoorDash as I am able to do, there is no need for a two hour wait. An hour bake time is bull s*#!. If the oven is hot and people know what they're doing, an hour is way more than pleanty. Don't waste your time in Beavercreek. Go downtown and try Uno's! read more

They're not great. They're not bad. I honestly think the place is overrated. I went to the first time after major hype. The inside of the place is very laid back like a normal pizza place except you're spending three times the money and waiting three times as long for your food. So... I've attempted to go to this place twice and both times, there was a forty minute wait (understandable considering the length of time it takes to make the pizza). I personally didn't appreciate sitting at a table with left over crumbs and such, but whatever, it happens. My group ordered two pizzas. A small deep dish was 21 dollars. ...again the pizza wasn't great, but also not worth the 45 min wait to cook on top of the 40 min wait to be seated. Someone else ordered 6 wings, for 11 dollars. I'd rather eat a chain pizza and wait 30 minutes for delivery. Lower price, less cheese. If you go here, expect to wait and spend a nice chunk of change. I was not wowed by the food. My family went here the first time {at the Beavercreek, OH location} very late on Saturday evening. Our server, Sha'Tori was fabulous. Clearly, we were pushing the time frame to even get pizza, since we arrived so late in the evening. She was outstanding for keeping our drinks refilled and keeping us updated for an estimated time our pizza would be coming out. My daughter was tired & she was quick to bring over some "pizza dough" for her to play with & children's coloring activity pages in the kids menu. The pizza is an indulgence; unless you're an Olympic swimmer or auditioning for 'My 600 Lb Life,' you wouldn't want to eat it every day. But the pizza is great; but the Beavercreeklocation is new and still needs to work out some kinks in the service. Case in point: On March 28, we were hosting out of town guests so we ordered a large pizza on-line for pick-up at 7:40 PM, with a side order of cheese curds. When we arrived at 7:45, the pizza was ready but, "It'll be a couple of minutes for the cheese curds," we were told. So we sat down. At 8:00 PM, we inquired again into the cheese curds, which the person at the counter seemed to have forgotten about. "They'll be right out," we were told. Finally, at 8:30 PM, we were handed our order. Does it take 45 minutes to make fried cheese curds? So, at that point our pizza had been sitting in a warming oven for 45 minutes. It was still good, but not as good as it could have been. And it didn't seem particularly busy that night either. And there were several other people getting impatient while we were there. On a previous visit where I picked up a pizza I ordered online, there also seemed to be some disorganization, but that was only a ten-minute delay. Hopefully, they can work through whatever communication or organization issues result in a delay like we experienced. read more

We were told that they were running 30 minutes behind but over an hour later and multiple checks for status, we asked for a refund and so did other customers. Reviewing the Beavercreek ohio store as we wait. 20 feb 21. Once we were seated, only two of us, it took 10 minutes to even ask us for drinks. Once we received drinks my beer glass had a chip and crack in it from top to bottom. Have now waited 15-20 minutes for calamari and my expectation is they forgot to put the order in. In all honesty this was probably the worst service/experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Not only do I not recommend this location, I would highly recommend going to dominos over this place. Ok - so, for those that are complaining about wait time - yep, it is a bit of a wait. I went in at 5pm. The restaurant was SUPER crowded. We got a seat within 5 minutes. We placed our order and 45 minutes later, pizza was done. A really important note for those that are in a hurry - deep dish takes time to bake. Like - 40-50 minutes. This is just a fact of life. If you want pizza quicker, don't get deep dish. Now - quality ... stellar. This is true deep dish. One slice and you're good. Two slices and ... well... you'll need your comfy pants. Giordano's? More like giordontgo. Had the appetizer sampler and the bread was like chewing on rock, the chicken tasted cheap and the garlic bread was just odd tasting. I got the lasagna with Alfredo expecting just Alfredo sauce but there was marinara too? The ricotta cheese in it was not good. One friend got a thin crust pizza and it was burnt. My other friend got the chicken Parmesan and was nauseous because of the spaghetti. I tried myself and can attest it was bad. She said the chicken was good and so were the mozzarella triangles. The chicken wings are pre-cooked frozen and when served to us were not completely reheated and were ice cold in the middle. We finished our first round of drinks, were asked if we'd like another and then were told we could only be served one drink per person (quite comical at the moment) and eventually (10 mins later) another employee came over and did apologize for the mixup and brought another round of drinks. Meanwhile the entire time we did not get any refills on our water, despite asking at least 5 times! The pizza was fairly good though. It did come out on the colder side as well which was disappointing considering the restaurant was not even half full. The place was packed and the line for the carry out was crazy, but the folks behind the counter were friendly and did their best to get the food out. In all honesty, we waited about 5 hours for our pizza. But the wait was well worth it. They were completely overwhelmed, and if they tell you it will be a 2.5 -3 hour wait they are not lying. The pizza takes 45 minutes to bake on a slow night so that is an expectation up front-but the pizza is delicious and the wait staff is amazing. They were so nice and up front with us, everyone was completely overwhelmed and you could tell the staff was running around-but I will definitely be back for more. Well!! This place opened less than one week ago, so we decided to try it on the evening on 2/24/19. We arrived at 8:50 pm. The place was full of people eating and waiting for takeout. We walked through the door and the first thing out of the hostess mouth was "we close at 9". I looked around the fairly full restaurant and asked, "can we get takeout?". She said, "I don't know, you'll have to go over there and ask them". At this point, my husband said, forget this, we're leaving and not coming back. You would think, being the first week open, they would seat people who arrive BEFORE CLOSING TIME or at least offer carry out only. Nothing like that was stated or posted at the store. Honestly, if I owned a restaurant, I would not turn down customers who come in before the posted closing time. If she had said, "we seat until 9, but there is an hour kitchen back up on the pizza" or something like that, it would not be an issue & I'd understand. Obviously, they don't need or want our money. I want to add, my husband has tried to call and speak to the manager, but after extensive waiting time, listening to a pre-recorded message, we are yet to get a live person on the phone. read more

Yesterday was the first time my wife and I tried this pizza and absolutely loved it; it is well worth the wait. The deep dish pizzas do take awhile to bake so I would recommend getting an appetizer if you walk in hungry. I am from Chicago, so I know pizza. From mom and pop shop to the chain. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have a little bit of home close to me. I have been in OH since 2016 and I could not find a decent pizza place. Finally, we have one. I know, it's not close to Cinti, but it is worth the drive. The cheese is melted and takes just like home. I could not have asked for a better piece of heaven. I highly recommend you go and try for yourself. I had my first experience last night at your new restaurant. I'm reluctant to give review because it's only been open 2-3 weeks. They definitely are still trying to find their legs. 3 hours for table and 5 hours to get our pizza. I'm pretty sure our pizza kept going out the door with carry out. We had a guest of seven and some got food while the rest were starving. We had the manager come out one of our friends gave him 101 in pizza business and he was kind enough to comp our food and gift cards all around for next visit. Been sitting here for about an hour and fifteen minutes and still haven't gotten our food. When we came in the hostess said they were really understaffed but I've seen over 15 servers walking around not doing anything.
