Me and my husband come to this place all the time but today when we entered it was kinda weird all the staff were different which is fine but we didn't get greeted like always and the server i had to keep calling him because he was literally ignoring me and i had to ask him for which is my table or we had missing stuff like rice and my soup was only one spoon which i didn't eat it was very disappointing i hope i don't experience that next time

**ZERO STARS - First and Last Visit!** Terrible experience. I asked our server, Daniela, if there was a vegetarian alternative to the meat potstickers we were served. She told me there was no substitute and the only vegetarian option available was 3 egg rolls for $6.99. She asked if I wanted to order them, and I clearly said NO. Despite this, a few minutes later she brought them out anyway. At that point, I assumed they might have been a courtesy appetizer, since I hadn't agreed to order them. Unfortunately, I was wrong, since I was charged $6.99 for something I explicitly declined. To make matters worse, when I asked for my receipt and held out my hand, she ignored it and placed the receipt on the counter instead. Extremely rude. The atmosphere wasn't much better -- the inside was hot and stuffy with only a small fan barely circulating air. Definitely won't be coming back!

Stopped for some Mongolian Bbq. I had the shrimp today. Was greeted right away and the team was very cheerful with great customer service and the place was clean. I'm a very simple gal so to me the highlight is their egg flower soup and the yummy oiled peanuts, they put on the table! Love my potsticker too.

Pay counter. For 1 bowl take out, you get the bowl from the counterperson and then pay after your meal is cooked and bagged up.

I had this restaurant mapped out & selected as a pre-concert, pre-event meal before attending the nearby Stanislaus Co. Fair. Was a little worried going in with some of the other reviews, but it didn't disappoint! The staff was really friendly & accommodating to me, an out-of-towner visiting the restaurant for the 1st time. Mongolian spots being my favorite when visiting new towns, I chose the 1 bowl take out option here. Bowls are pretty huge, comparatively speaking and easily make two full meals. Plus, they even throw in a couple of tasty pot-stickers, a small white rice AND a free drink...all for under $20 bucks. Deal! The bowl prep area layout isn't as huge as others I've been to, but still has all the toppings that I've found at any other similar spot. Tons of sauce options at the end. Gosh, I couldn't imagine doing the AYCE (all-you-can-eat) option here. You'd have to be HELLA hungry, like not having eaten in 2 weeks maybe? This spot also thankfully has a smarter system over others in that they bundle your to-go meal in an oversize Chinese take-out box instead of those nasty styrofoam clamshells that melt with the heat of your food and are so messy. Big kudos to them for this. They're open most nights until midnight, accept credit cards and the parking lot is patrolled by foot security (although the area doesn't look particularly bad at all). Great job GK Mongolian of Turlock!

Food was sooooo good. I didn't know it was all you can eat for dinner. I was full off my bowl already but good to know for future reference. Elaine was our Host/Server, she was very kind and answered all our questions we had. (It was our first time here). I love that you can pick your food yourself and customize exactly how you want. The cooks were also very nice. I left both a tip. The sides you get included for the price was definitely a bonus. People complaining about how messy it is, I didn't see that part at all. It was kept very clean. I'm sure when it's super busy that might be a little different. But let's see all of your kitchens.... Lol I'm sure you're not perfect. Five stars for my experience & will definitely be returning!! I drove from merced, I wish there was a closer location

I don't like pork they sent me in bowl.. not cooked..it's rubbery... and no spoon ..no napkins.. plz take ur chance

Nothing good .. they need to improve there system... pork take time ..so you need to take it...... I'm sorry I don't like it

Why does this Tri-Tip have to be so ridiculously tender and juicy?!…read more Seriously... why even bother giving me a steak knife? This Tri-Tip was so tender I could've sliced it with an old butter knife from Grandma's kitchen drawer and never missed a beat. And the flavor? Absolutely unreal. I swear that cow was out in the pasture happily munching on fresh grass about two seconds before it made its way to my plate. Every bite tasted so fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor that it almost seemed unfair to every other Tri-Tip I've ever eaten. This wasn't just dinner--it was a full-blown meat experience. Tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked so perfectly that it should probably come with a warning label: "Caution: May permanently ruin all future Tri-Tip for comparison purposes." 10/10. I'd gladly skip a salad, ignore my diet, and make questionable life decisions all over again for another plate of this masterpiece.

Big Vic's has definitely improved since my last visit. The meat and barbecue are excellent, and I…read morereally enjoy that part of the meal. That said, I still feel the sides are subpar. I usually end up getting the cornbread because the other options don't really appeal to me. On today's visit, I also noticed the price for the sliders didn't match what was listed on the board. When I politely mentioned it to the cashier, she didn't respond or acknowledge it, which made the interaction feel awkward and dismissive. I wasn't trying to make an issue out of it; I was simply pointing out that the posted price should match what customers are charged. If the sliders are $8.78, put $8.78 on the board. If they're $8.24, put $8.24 on the board. It may seem minor, but inaccurate pricing can come across as careless or even dishonest, especially if it happens repeatedly. I also think the front register needs stronger customer service. The person at the register is representing the business, and when a customer brings up a legitimate concern, it should be acknowledged professionally. Having someone more mature or better trained handling checkout would make a big difference. Overall, the barbecue is moving in the right direction, but the sides, posted pricing, and customer service still need attention.

They've got two picnic tables under tents and a small parking lot (about 10-12 spots), plus plenty of additional parking just across the street within easy walking distance. I ordered the 2-meat combo ($25) with brisket and ribs, choosing collard greens and baked beans for my sides. My wife ordered the tri-tip sandwich with yams and baked beans. They were cool enough to sell me a 1-meat plate instead of forcing the combo, which saved me a few bucks--and I appreciated that. There's a $1 credit card fee, which didn't bother me at all. My wife loved her meal and said it was a lot of food and everything tasted great. My brisket had a nice bark and a legit smoke ring. The ribs were tender and fell right off the bone. The baked beans were solid, but the collard greens really stood out--some of the best I've had at a restaurant. Prices are average for BBQ, portions are generous, and I had enough left over for dinner later. You can tell this is real BBQ--they've got a huge BBQ pit smoking meats, and it shows in the flavor. The BBQ sauce was very good. The two guys working inside were friendly, answered all my questions, and made ordering easy. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back.

We started with the Argentine empanadas served with bone marrow and chimichurri--two good-sized empanadas for $24. Great flavor and a solid way to kick things off. For my entrée, I ordered the hanger steak cooked medium--it came out perfect. It was served with Roth Fries, which might honestly be the best garlic fries I've had in a long time. Fresh garlic, Parmesan, parsley... just done right. The steak was topped with chimichurri and came with two dipping sauces--everything worked. My wife ordered the Kung Pao Street Noodles with grilled prawns ($36), and she loved it. Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a standout experience. Our waitress, Janet, was amazing--super attentive and helpful. Whenever I asked about dishes I saw coming out, she was more than happy to explain them. We'll definitely be back.
