Stopped before visiting the new Civil Rights museum. They provided nice ambiance and friendly service at the bar. The dessert was wonderful. My only concern is that it took a long time for my tea to come out with it so i had to enjoy the two separately.

Three words: warm crab dip. Located in the Glenn hotel, this restaurant has a little bit of everything. State, burgers, seafood, and it is all really delicious. My party and I grabbed a few things and split it between all of us. I personally ordered the salmon, it was really top-notch. The roasted chicken got top marks as well. I didn't order any alcohol, but I heard everything was delicious. No parking so I have to be in the mood in order to go, but I'll definitely be back.

This is the lobby restaurant at the Glenn hotel. I swung by for a drink and ordered the lavender cocktail. Overall it was a but too sweet for my liking but I enjoyed the ambiance.

The ambiance is elegant and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. Soft lighting, tasteful décor, and well-paced energy make it ideal for both intimate dinners and special occasions. The space feels refined without being formal, allowing you to relax and truly enjoy the experience. An inviting setting that elevates the entire meal. Fantastic dining experience! We started with a fresh, crisp, well balanced salad that set the tone for the meal. The trout......cooked to perfection--delicate, flavorful, and moist--and the salmon was equally impressive with great texture and seasoning; seared perfectly. You can really tell care goes into the food here. The service was exemplary as well from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended.

I only sat at the bar as the sky lounge was closed. Our bartender Zach was amazing and so friendly. The drinks were tasty and the ambiance gave grown and sexy.

The salmon with risotto was delicious! Also make sure to get the not pictured, jalapeño hush puppies and crab dip. The hush puppies have some heat from the sauce but it's not too spicy. The service was a little slow when it came to getting our drinks. Even though we had a decent size group, the restaurant wasn't very busy.

We reluctantly went here after reading so many mixed reviews. Well, for a busy Sunday in between 2 major events and no reservations, they crushed it.! (i tried making reservations but was unable to online. Probably bc they were booked) The young host was kind & warm and said they had to commit to the reservations and they were not taking a waiting list. I didn't expect them too so that's why we got there early. Great service and the food was great! Cool and cozy atmosphere. Would go back for sure! Set the right expectations for yourself and the restaurant. You're in ATL next to State Farm Arena. It's going to be busy!

Tried this place when we went to Atlanta, Georgia. Located inside the Glenn Hotel lobby. I can't say any negative things about this place. I think everyone in my group loved what they have. Service was okay, understand that everything was made fresh, can't complain about the wait.

I don't think I will ever come back. The two gentlemen behind the bar weren't friendly at all. It was almost lot they didn't want to service us. The service felt more like what do you want, while they were friendly and interacted with everyone else in the dining room. I was excited to come to Glenn's because I hadn't been in a while but the service was not well at all. I asked the other bartender (I didn't get their name because they never introduced themselves, just asked how can I help you). At the end of my experience, I asked them do they have anything for surveys like a card or anything, hinting I was leaving a review and the bartender told me, "oh we don't do reviews". The salmon dish I looked forward to was okay. I couldn't enjoy my food honestly. Thanks for the free desert for my friends birthday I guess? I would say this restaurant is not geared towards young people at all.

9/10! I've had better but it was still really good. I'd get it well done though unless you like it more medium.

Located in the lobby of the Glenn Hotel Atlanta, it's a downtown Atlanta destination for sensational dishes like this char-grilled salmon! Light and slightly charred salmon cooked perfectly atop a bright, lemon, creamy risotto that brings out the savory salmon flavor wonderfully! Then, they amped up the flavor with tangy pickled onions to mix in. We paired it with the bright, herbaceous Garden in the sky cocktail filled with cool cucumber and tangy mint.  Some of our other favorite dishes start with the starters like the Deviled Eggs and Jalapeno Hushpuppies. The Deviled eggs are sharp and tangy, a tasty spicy, sweet savory bacon jam on top. Yum! Speaking of spicy, the Jalapeño hushpuppies start out sweet with corn and honey, then the spicy jalapeño kicks in for a balanced bite! The spicy dipping sauce is icing into her cake. We paired this with Glenn's Old fashioned a traditional cocktail yet that is boozy and a slight sweetness for balance.  We also tried one of their salads, the Ahi Tuna Salad, and a handheld, the Short Rib sandwich. The Short rib sandwich is meaty and tender short rib paired with a spicy and creamy horseradish aioli, finished off with slaw on a crunchy ciabatta roll. And the Ahi Tuna Salad is savory and seasoned ahi tuna with a bright spring salad, tangy dressing, and creamy avocado. And don't forget the service! Waited on hand and foot and very knowledgeable about the menu!

We dined here before a show as it was convenient to the State Farm Arena. We arrived around 6:30 on a Monday evening. The restaurant was not packed but there were right many tables occupied. The hostess was very friendly and we were seated right away. We ordered 2 Georgia Peach cocktails and 2 Strawberry salads. One with shrimp and one with salmon. The food came out right away, it was fresh, a good size portion, and the dressing was awesome. Would definitely return again if in the area or prior to a show.

Our waitress was super friendly, and since it was our first time, she took her time explaining the menu and answering our questions, which we really appreciated. The food was excellent across the board. Everything we ordered was flavorful, and even the sides stood out. I highly recommend the yams and the mac and cheese, both were good. We started with the gumbo, which was tasty and for our mains we had the oxtail and fish. Both were cooked well and full of flavor. The ambiance was another highlight. The vibe was relaxed and cool, with good R&B music playing in the background. This made the whole experience feel enjoyable and laid-back. One thing to note: parking is mandatory valet, but it's tip-based only. Overall, Roc South Cuisine is a great spot with great food, great service, and a solid vibe. Definitely worth checking out.

This was a bit disheartening due to the fact that several of them made complaints during the duration of our wait about how long they were waiting for their food. We were seated after about two minutes of waiting. The hostess + our waitress were both very kind and accommodating being that we had a toddler in our party. The restaurant was mostly empty, but it took more than a while for food and drinks to come out. However when the food did arrive at the table, it was well seasoned, very fresh and the portions were a decent size. I can see this Restaurant being a good pie for girls night out, we didn't order any alcoholic drinks so I can't speak to that but it's the same aesthetic as most Atlanta restaurants. Blue velvet, grass wall and chandelier vibes. Since we went on a weekday at an early time, we didn't have to pay for parking but be mindful that I'm busier day/night there might be a parking fee

I was visiting from out of town and was craving some soul food and boy did this live up to the standards. I got the jambalaya, red beans with sausage & rice, and the voodoo chicken & Mac. Everything was so incredibly affordable with portion sizes that exceeded my expectations. I had left overs for days and I got the small sizes of everything! My favorite dish was definitely the jambalaya. The jambalaya was great for tasting all the meats. The Mac n cheese was so cheesy and fresh. My favorite meat however was definitely the sausage, however all the plates had some version with sausage. The employees were so kind and helpful and had great southern hospitality. The food was made fresh and took less than 10 minutes to make. If I'm ever back in the Atlanta area, I will be coming here again. Also great location in terms of downtown. Best food, best prices, and best portions!

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. So we were prepared for that even though we were going on a Thursday mid morning. I think there was an influx of people celebrating graduations because it was in fact very busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. Strong, which is how I like it and not overly sweet. I ordered the chicken biscuit on the waiter's recommendation and it was absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. Juicy and crispy. My husband ordered the pimento cheese omelette and was very happy with it, the bacon was thick cut and smoky and flavorful. The pimento cheese grits that came on the side for me were also a stand out, such great flavor. The biscuits are fantastic and the blueberry basil jam that came with my husband's meal was such a nice touch. We will absolutely make a point to come back to Buttermilk Kitchen next time we visit the Atlanta area.

First things first: the Chicken Biscuit. Buttermilk Kitchen's biscuit is on the crunchy, honey-flavored side. I personally prefer fluffier, more buttery biscuits, so this one wasn't my favorite. That aside, the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned and paired well with the cheese grits. If you ever wanted a dry, crunchy version of Homegrown's Comfy Chicken Biscuit, come give this a shot. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.
