Great place to get a cup of Latte! Price isn't too bad for coffee. Nice jazz plays in the background. Cozy, clean and good vibe. One thing I was a little bit surprised was how expensive the little cake pop was!!! $7 per cake pop! I decided not To buy it since that was way expensive for one little thing. Starbucks sells a little cheaper than this place. Overall nice place to have coffee.

Yaaaaaayyyy, a coffee shop with a drive through! I never realized how much I needed something like this until I had a small child who can be fussy if I try to repeatedly remove and return her to her car seat. The drive through isn't obvious at first because it's not fully open but instead covered by a sort of walkway in the building. Anyway, the drinks are solid. I got a chai, my usual, and was happy with it. The service was friendly. They have some treats on their menu as well, which I might try at some point. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

This is a busy, cozy place by the train station. I parked on the street facing the tracks which is permit only, but M-F, and it happened to be a S, so we're good. I ordered a lavender London Fog and an almond croissant, which they warmed up for me. This is a fun place -- I saw Taylor Swift cookies (it was around the release of TTPD) -- not really a fan but I applaud the effort. Also, I saw a stack of books to read and I saw not one, but two, Georgette Heyer books. If you are a Regency fan, or even a Bridgerton fan, GH is more JA than JA. I digress. The lavender London Fog was perfect. The almond croissant was enormous but had more sweet filling than required, and tasted a little unnatural, though it was crispy and flaky. I will stop by again for the great drinks and fun vibes.

Glenview Grind is an absolute neat place nestled in downtown Glenview. Between the friendly and attentive staff, the variety of good drink options, and the locally sourced goods and market, Glenview Grind has a great mixture of items for everyone. What I specifically really enjoyed were the outstanding prices for the quality you get. Supporting a local place and having better prices than other coffee places, makes this a go-to spot. For me, I was able to try the cold brew coffee with caramel, which was not what I had originally ordered. They were out of cold foam, but quickly offered other options at no additional charge. I should also mention just how cool their fall flavors were, with some more original ideas I have seen compared to other places. I cannot wait to go back and try another flavor and maybe even get a pastry too!

Such a cute little shop! The ladies up front were so kind. I ordered an iced vanilla oat milk latte and it was the perfect balance. You can tell the coffee grounds are legit and good quality! We also tried the croissant and bagel breakfast sandwiches which were pretty good!

Great location! as a heads up, I never give a coffee shop a 5/5 unless they have a pour over (and are great). Glenview grind is great but they don't have a pour over. They do use nice beans and have nice food options. It's in a nice location with things to do near by. They have nice lattes and the drip coffee is nice too! The Avocado toast is amazing as well! Parking was easy on the street, seating on the inside was nice. TVs setup and all.

This if what you get At Glenview Grind for 6-7$. A moldy fruit surprise. I was about to feed my 3yr old.

You order a coffee here or anything else. And end up asking for cup of water which is tap water and they charge you a 1$ for tap water. What a joke!! No wonder ppl can't wait for new coffee place Hometown coffee place to open. I go charges 1$ for cup of tap water? Joke never again buying anything here.

Charming place in the middle of downtown to get coffee and breakfast items. Glenview Grind is more than just coffee and eating though. It's where to go if you're looking to catch up. Find old friends here or meet someone you haven't already. The place is kind of crowded, especially in the morning and weekends, which should be obvious. A convenient location is one of the best things about it. It's close to the Metra Station. The coffee is the main thing. Even so, there's lots more. There's breakfast and lunch sandwiches. It's about $4 for a small coffee. The Matcha Green Tea Latte is a favorite. Choose from a few milk types including non dairy choices. Oatmeal is one of the breakfast options. It's about $3.75 for a bowl. This comes with choice of milk and toppings. Best place to get breakfast in Glenview. It gets busy of course but it also has a relaxing charm about it. The breakfast time is busiest but there's also sandwiches for lunch and whenever.

NGL, I was a little underwhelmed by this place. I've been on a matcha latte journey, so I've been ordering that everywhere lately. The menu didn't specify that this doesn't come sweetened, though I probably shouldn't have assumed either. I also felt like the iced matcha latte was too warm. I had to ask the cashier to pour my drink into a larger cup with more ice. They were very nice to do that and offered to sweeten it with some vanilla syrup. They do have a ton of seating indoors along with some cozy chairs. There's also a few outdoor tables and chairs too.

Loved my drink AND my sammy. I had full intentions of returning and trying MORE things from both the beverage menu and food selections - but Covid... However, what I did like was my drink had the perfect mix of function (coffee) and decadence (chocolate) and topping. The food was fresh, flavorful, yummy. If I'm back that way I'd stop in again. And if you're out there, swing by & give them a try. And try as many things as possible (in my honor)!

Glenview Grind is a great coffee spot. They have many drink and food options to choose from including smoothies, coffee, and sandwiches. Moreover, they have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating as well. They also have a drive thru option which is very convenient. The inside is very clean and is a nice place to go and do some work. The staff is also very friendly and prompt when making the orders.

Only a minor wait to get a table which was a plus since we were just in the area. Wheelchair accessible access in the front is perfect considering a good amount of geriatric population live in this area. Interior is very cute with the rattan wicker lights lining the ceiling. A modern Mediterranean feel with a classy bar just past the entrance. Staff were initially very attentive, but as time went on it did seem to disappear. I believe they were short staffed and currently training a new server which is alright on its own, but getting our food took about 30 minutes. Since we ordered they had time to fill another table besides us, given time for them to look at the menu, explain a minor issue about not having rice without dill available, so they would need to make a new batch, and they confirmed that it isn't a problem to the table being served their food at the same time as us. So they had a substantially less time and they were even able to get their check to leave before we got ours. Food wasn't brought by the servers who took our orders so I'm not sure what happened. Maybe they cook the food in batches or something. Despite the the service the food was good. The portion size for the lunch special is appropriate for the price and probably the best deal. The in-house made pita is exceptional but I feel as if they don't give you enough when you order the roasted eggplant (baba ghanoush). By the time we finished the pita we still had about half the order remaining. I would have loved to ask for more bread but no one came by and our server, I think, was in the back because we didn't see her for some time. I didn't see a patio so dogs are probably not going to be able to enjoy. They are part of Lettuce Entertain You so if you're a member you can get points. Reservations can be made online. So with items being on the expensive side and service slow I probably won't be going back unless I'm in the area during lunchtime. I won't be rushing to get back anytime soon, though.

The vegan waffle was generously sized and made fresh in the kitchen. It had the perfect texture--a little crispy on the outside, yet warm and chewy on the inside. There was just a hint of sweetness, so I hardly needed any maple syrup. The decor is very cool--I absolutely love the color scheme! Even the restroom was charming. When I walked in, I noticed a sign on the wall that said, "Hello Beautiful." Although it's a small detail, I also appreciated that the trash bin was placed directly beneath the paper towel dispenser and right next to the door. It's those thoughtful little touches that make a difference. I can't wait to come back and try more of their vegan options!

I upgraded to the berry pancakes (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries) for an upcharge. My child had the pancakes from the kid's menu which came with two small pancakes and a meat of her choice (she chose bacon). Food took some time to come out and we had to ask for water. My omelet was decent but the hashbrowns were overcooked and dry. The berry pancakes were just okay. There was fresh fruit on top but I didn't care for the berry drizzle on top of the pancakes as it tasted artificial. The kid's meal was very plain (I don't know what I expected) and I should have shared my meal with my child since she ended up eating all the berries off my pancakes anyway.

Our server Miriam was awesome with our orders, she came by to check on us and not too many times, and was there to help us with leftovers and leaving stuff. She struck a nice balance of not being there vs being here too often, so that's Ace's in my book. Since it was Mother's Day, it's crowded and a bit loud but not too loud where it was too obnoxious, except for a few people who had no manners at all on dress, but that's another topic I won't go to, for now. Tables, plates and silverware were clean, and one can still get around, even with one table behind us with a handicapped person, it didn't crowd up much at all - it was all very reasonably spacious. Definitely will come back here, though I do miss that older lady who was our server the last time before today, who was very nice - had a bit of an attitude to her personality but not too much to make it tasteless, some sass makes for an interesting day. My dad had an office and n Glenview when I was younger and this place was there and he had never heard of it. I guess if you were local or took the Metra, then you knew. I made a reservation as there were twelve of us coming in. We arrive for our monthly Burger Club with high hopes. It's a cute place. They have a nice outdoor deck area and the inside has a nice wooden bar with tables around it with two or three additional rooms of seating, too. We asked for separate checks, and our server told us it was no problem (it was). They have a lot of burgers to choose from so we thought that this would be a great place to go. I'll say this, our server was wonderful. Super nice, really friendly, always refilling drinks. Just a wonderful experience with her. And that's where it ends. My burger came our perfectly prepared (they ask what temperature you want and I wanted medium rare). The patties are insanely thin and toppings, while fresh, are overly abundant. Fresh lettuce, tasty pickles, etc. the burger had no flavor. No salt or pepper to season it or anything. And mine was the best of the group. Others received burgers that were overcooked, had the wrong buns, came with caramelized onions, but were raw -were sent back and came back raw again - and the sides were underwhelming. I don't like ketchup, so I asked for ranch and it was thick and had a funky flavor to it. Then bills came and they were all wrong. She had mixed up every bill. Thankfully most burgers cost the same, but drinks and some side upgrades don't. We will never go back here. I have no idea how they stay in business.

The patio is just okay, in my opinion. It's small and nothing is very special about it, but on a nice, sunny day, it's perfect for lunch. I've never been a huge fan of the indoor dining area either, and I usually opt to sit at the bar if I can. The staff is very kind. They have an excellent burger. It's always cooked right and I love the bun. I add avocado to mine. The fries are great too, and always the perfect amount of crispy. I consistently used to order their Turkey Club, but at some point in the past few years, they switched from fresh cut turkey to deli turkey. It's not nearly as good anymore for that reason, and not worth ordering. The only Glenview restaurants I know of that still use fresh turkey in their sandwiches are Hackney's and Meier's Tavern. Also, their Guinness pours can be questionable depending on who's pouring. Nowadays, when I go to Grandpa's, I only ever order the Chicken Kabobs. They are absolutely delicious! If you like medium spice, I advise you to ask for them cajun-style. They are best this way! The kabobs come served over rice with the most juicy oven roasted tomatoes, and this addicting peanut sauce on the side. I pour it over the whole thing. It is a must-try and no doubt the best thing on their menu. Highly recommend Grandpa's food, as most things on the menu are enjoyable. They also have Merkt's Cheese!

The higher the restaurant is, the less likely I'm going to visit. That does not apply, however, to…read morethe Omega. This evening was my first visit, despite driving by it for over a decade. And it was nothing short of superb in all facets. My son ordered the Southwest Avocado Burger, which an earlier review this year praised. He agreed. He loved it. His mom had the Chicken Philly. Equally good. Both had large portions. I had the Russian Reuben. It was like 3X the size of a traditional Reuben sandwich one might get dining out. I was barely able to eat a third. It was huge beyond huge. It was spectcular. I wasn't sure corned beef would blend so well with turkey but both meats did. Sumptuous! The Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Russian horseradish sauce and 1000 Island dressing on top - OMG - it was so unbelievable! $2.00 more - you get your fries and soup (choice of 6 - wow - what eatery has 6 soup options)? The onion soup was $1 extra but who cares? It was all a ton for the buck. The basket of tasty dinner rolls upon arrival was delightful. Our waitress Terry was excellent thru and thru and worthy of a large tip, which we obliged. We got free refills on our drinks too, a big thing for us. We were all totally pleased with our visit and will be sure to return at least once or twice before moving out of state later this year. We wish we could clone this place and take it to where we all are moving. I truly don't understand those whining here and their posts. Everything we had was good throughout. If I had to nitpick, I would say the French onion soup itself was average and not rich but the large crouton in the soup and abundant melted yummy Swiss cheese well compensated with the grated topping over the cheese incredibly tasty, making it over the top. The raspberry iced tea could have been a bit sweeter but it wasn't bad either. And you automatically get water delivered to your table, a rarity among diners today. And yeah, I get to a degree the 3% (rounded off) card charge but when you're spending $80 to $100 for gargantuan portions of great food, come on, who really cares about an extra $2.50-$3, chump change? A church friend of the family told me she and her husband go to Omega periodically and recommended it. So this evening we all went. And not one bit disappointed. 24/7/365 diners are a dying breed these days but we are so glad Omega is still around and I say long live the Omega. A shout out to the crews working here as well as the owner.

I've been looking for great diner type food and I finally think I found it. At first I was…read moreskeptical because I didn't think the freebees were great but I still remained hopeful. Then I tasted my hot beef sandwich. It was delicious and plentiful and even the mashed potatoes were acceptable. My sister had the special pot roast with egg noodles that was also great tasting with a lot of meat. Our server (I forgot his name) was excellent. He was concerned when we didn't like the soup or salad but was glad we liked our entrees. They also have a large case of desserts. We tried the baklava which was also delicious. We will definitely be back.
