Excellent fish and chips! The fish was moist and flaky and the beer batter is fab! The chips are addictive! I also had key lime pie which was out of this world. So good that I asked about it and was told that it is made by their pastry chef at Go Fish in Rehoboth. I'll be back! This place is a far cry from 'Go Fish' in Rehoboth, where the experience is pleasant, the wait staff is friendly and the food is great. We were at 'Go Brit' yesterday and were underwhelmed by the service. The middle aged, plump lady at the front definitely swam up on the wrong side of the jetty! She was disinterested and a total grump. She was curt and there was no welcome smile or warmth and she appeared to be doing us a favor by taking our order and said something surly under her breath. The food was so-so and I doubt I will ever go back. The proprietor should ensure some pleasant folks are in charge since it reflects poorly on the establishment. read more

Decent fish and chips, although super stingy with the tartar sauce. They didn't charge me for extras, but you should know 10 ounces of fried fish requires more than 1 shot of tartar sauce. Fried food is generally good, but this is high grade fried food. Many of the dishes are fried food with a side of fried food. It's great. Fish and chips and fried beer battered chicken breast are both great. The shepherd's pie is good. Salads are good. Fries are very good especially if you like vinegar on them. One of the few places that serves coke products in the area. I enjoy going once or twice a year. read more

I chose this because of the other good reviews and was not disappointed. Three of us ordered the basic fish platter and we all thought the portion was large and consistent. The batter was just right and not too heavy, very tasty, hot and fresh. I got the slaw for a side and it was good as well. Dessert looked interesting but we were too full to eat it. Having had fish & chips in England, this establishment is the closest to the real deal this side of the pond. While there are plenty of restaurants in the area serving fish & chips, NO ONE comes close to Go Brit and their smaller sister Go Fish establishment in downtown Rehoboth Beach. Same great menu, but Go Brit has the convenience of a parking lot. For battered, crispy (never soggy) tender/moist fish and authentic large cut fries (chips) complete with malt vinegar look no further than Go Brit. read more

Best Coconut Shrimp ever, ever, EVER. Only five come per order though so that kinda sucks but definitely worth it. The group I was with ordered a little bit of everything...crab cake sandwich, fish and chips, beer battered chicken. All of it was fantastic. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because the fish tacos weren't really tacos per say, more like a fish wrap. So if you're looking the for the typical fish taco with a Tex Mex theme maybe skip getting it from this place. All you really need is the coconut shrimp anyways lets be honest. read more

Their fish and chips are by far the best fish and chips we've found in US. We have had many fish and chips in UK and on NY. Their fish is extremely fresh and they give you a large piece of cod fish! We will definitely be back of we are in the neighborhood. read more

Being a Brit I know my fish and chips, that said, these are pretty damn good. Chips are spot on, fish just lacks the choice of cod, plaice, haddock etc. However, curry sauce was awful, not much curry flavor and way too sweet. read more

Love this place. The chips are crisp. The beer-battered fish is exactly as it should be to carry the Brit name. The shrimp is also fantastic. Best cocktail sauce. We always ask for an extra cup of it to dip our chips in cocktail sauce too. We shared a sticky toffee once. I'm not a huge sweets person, but It tasted authentic. I really l like that this location is not all the way down in that parking mess in Rehoboth. We've never had a problem finding a place to park. The fried fish was very doughy, more batter than fish. and the chips are soggy and dark. They has always been a good alternative to the real English Fish and Chips, but not now. read more

Sub par and bland food. Is this what real British food is like? If so, count me out! It's also a bit pricey for what you get. I ordered the shepherd's pie & it was bland, dry and quite frankly, disgusting! People go out to eat because they want to experience something that they can't replicate at home in thier own kitchen. I know for a fact that i can make better food at home! Everything was way overpriced. The Shepherd's pie was $10.75 & was the size of a small bowl. I'd pay that much if it were from a fancy restaurant and the food was actually good, but for a "fast food" chain, it's ridiculous. My friend ordered the fish & chips and also said it was very bland and very greasy. I will not be going back. The atmosphere was nice, but quality of food & price were not up to par. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed Go Brit. The fish was big, flakey and fresh. The fries are thick cut and decent (not my favorite type of fry but not bad). I would not recommend the sticky toffee pudding, I've had better. You order at the counter and then they bring the food out to you. They are using this location to pilot the idea of franchising the restaurant. Not a bad idea but I think they probably need to read more

This place is awesome and love the fish sandwich special on Fridays! It's definitely on our list for lunch and it's close to my work.

The great experience here started as we entered and were politely greeted. We asked questions about items on yhe menu and wetr even offered a sample when I asked what mushy peas were. While dining, my only complaint was that I didn't like the iced tea from the fountain. When they heard that, the staf f t here brewed me a fresh cup of tea and brought it to me with loads of ice at the table.
