It was ok, probably closer to a three and a half. But the sushi was fresh and nicely prepared. Cheerful and attentive waitstaff. Maybe a little on the slow side considering how empty the place was. Great sushi spot. I did not anticipate such an amazing sushi spot in West Palm Beach. I had the spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls. Both were amazing. I also had pork fried rice which was very moist and flavorful. The service is absolutely amazing. I had ordered food to go and they accidentally forgot to add my pork dumplings. I called them and they did everything in their power to make it right. They gave us extra drinks and and extra order of dumplings. I think you learn a lot about a restaurant by how they handle their mistakes. There will always be mistakes; nobody is perfect. The best possible thing is to acknowledge the mistake and work to correct it. They did that very well. We just had lunch at Go Sushi and it was average. The good: gyozas were good. The flavored tea with popping boba are huge, super sweat, and have just the right amount of ice. I don't like it when there's so much ice that you can't get to the boba until the ice melts. These were great here and the small tea is plenty big enough. The bad: The rolls were almost room temperature. I like my sushi cold and melt in your mouth soft. I did not get that here. The tiger roll (spicy salmon topped with salmon) was slimy and chewy and not spicy at all. The salmon was very fatty. The soho roll (spicy tuna with eel sauce) was okay but again the hard seaweed made it difficult to chew and was not spicy at all. Udon noodles with shrimp were also very slimy. The salad that came in the bento box had no dressing. I did not even bother to ask for it. On the bright side, service is friendly and they did not have a problem making a bento box (for an up charge of course) for my teenage daughter, even though, it is only on the lunch menu from Monday through Friday lunch special and today is Sunday. read more

Ordered pick up. The place is hidden away and not too big. Everything looked clean and the food looked fresh. My only issue was the time it took to prepare the food. I placed my order online thinking it would be quicker. From order time to actual pick up was 48 minutes. When I arrived, there was only one couple eating dinner. If you're looking for a sushi place that's average, then this is the place. I didn't mind any of the food but we ordered the 1st Maki special, and specialty order of tempura shrimp with a side of rice. I didn't quite like the smell of the rice, similar to jasmine, but the texture proved to hold well. My tempura batter should be lightly breaded and I got more of a fried chicken batter. My sushi was again, average at best, I'd rather have sushi at a buffet than here only because the nori was still chewy, which indicated that they didn't take the time to toast it, but of all the sushi, between the California roll, the salmon, and tuna roll, my favorite would have to be the California roll. So overall, out of my entire meal, I would consider the California roll out of all the items. With that being said, the place is small, and the tables are almost on top of each other, you can clearly hear everyone's conversation, and the staff were very nice. I did get my free dessert and enjoyed it very much. I can always go for ice cream mochi, so thank you! read more

My first time at this restaurant will most likely be my last. I ordered the vegetable and shrimp tempura for dinner last night. It was the worst "tempura" I have ever had. The batter was what one might expect on fried chicken. The shrimps were small and somewhat tough. The veggies, a broccoli floret, a strip of sweet potato, a piece of green bell pepper and a largish piece of squash, were overlooked and not very appetizing. There was also a small bowl of white rice. As I finished this crummy meal, I thanked my lucky stars that I did not order any sushi or sashimi. Decent sushi and the large boba tea is HUGE, like McDonalds large. Miso was too salty. The bento box had salad on it, I prefer my salad first and maybe some sashimi or cucumber salad in the bento box instead. I probably won't go here again, but it wasn't bad. read more

Absolutely the best agedashi tofu appetizer in the area! I have ordered it all all the places nearby and still crave Go Sushi's! Even if you aren't a fan of tofu, try it, the broth is so delicious! and 3 generous pieces of fried tofu, they are the only ones who are able to get a nice chewy coating on the tofu. i have tried to make it at home and no success. My only complaint, I want more!!! Everything I have had was very god but their crispy salmon skin seaweed salad is also addicting. Their udon dishes are also very taste. I eat sushi regularly and have tried more Sushi joints than I can count and this one lands at the top of my list of favorites for two simple reasons the prices are great and the sushi never disappoints. The rolls are fresh, clean, and delicious. Prices are VERY reasonable, go at happy hour or lunch for the best deals. Three simple delicious rolls are the Crunchy Shrimp,Avocado/Peanut and Sweet Potato. All around $5-6. Lunch you can get 3 of the "simple" rolls for $12.95. Special Rolls run around $7-15. I love the American Dream roll. Their iced tea (sweet/unsweet) is absolutely the best I have ever had. If you love sushi, you will love this place! read more

The sushi, according to my husband (I don't eat sushi), was amazing, but their vegetable tempura is just not tempura at all, just breaded vegetables. Their gyoza (don't know how to write this) is terrible, its not fried, its just kind of grilled, so the bottom gets a little toasty and the rest of the crust is just raw and mushy. Saw Go Sushi had 4.5 stars and figured it should suffice to quench my craving for all that is uncooked. I wasn't expecting a sushi precedent setting experience, just looking for it to be standard. Unfortunately, Go Sushi laid claim to a new title in my book, the first restaurant to serve frozen sushi. The waitress was aware of it and even suggested eating the whitefish and salmon last cause they were still frozen. Bathing the fish in soy did not solve the problem. My only complaint is that they knowingly served frozen fish. read more
