Lollipop Lamb Chops over a table spoon of Mash potatoes and Brussels sprouts.

Take a seat, grab a snack, a beverage and get comfy. This will take a minute. It's best to start with entering the establishment. BACK STORY: 3 women of color dressed in very similar color could mean, high school classmates, church group, political group, etc. . My point is we were dressed in similar identifying colors and emblems. We may appear to be women of a certain age of maybe 65 years but not certain. ........We are actually, retired Military Women of Color, had just left an event which included a meet and greet lunch. So now we're meeting, ATTENTION!!! ANYONE WANTING A NICE TIP; Scan/learn your clients: "None of the 3 of us had ever gone to a restaurant where you scanned your menu." Grab another more seasoned and probably patient server because the radar of attention should be sounding, red lights flashing, and a banner sign saying "LORD, please send Patience because I think these old ladies are going to be a handful." Grade System Start: A++ 1. The hostess Zarjana, promptly guided us to our seats. 2. Once seated, Zarjana, began by welcoming us to a 5 Star experience. For me, that was "WOW" prepare to be amazed. I've been blessed to have traveled the country for 22 years while serving in the U.S. Army, and have experienced a variety of different cultures of foods and hospitalizes. Now, I'm meeting new friends, about to experience my first 5 star dining and the setting was wonderful. 3. After three failed attempts to take the orders of 3 senior women of color dressed similarly, all wearing glasses on their noses, trying to read a scanned menu on phones that work randomly, you as a server should be calling Tyrone's Auntie "Patience." But, bless her heart, she continued and began to, emphasized several times and I mean SEVERAL times to my friend who was eying the Lollipop Lamb chops, "Portion Size", which for me meant, "Ok, once you get your "Lollipop Lamb chops don't say I didn't warn you ahead of time when you can't find your spoonful of mashed potatoes. Also, other customers have probably commented about the portion sizes as well. Good looking out Zarjana, message received and appreciated. 4. Beverages arrive (me water with lemon plz). Cute plastic glasses filled to the rim spilling to the floor and the table. My sister took the napkins above the silverware holder to wipe the spilled water from the table, and I took the other napkin to wipe the water I spilled moving my glass to my side of the table. My sister grabbed napkins from the table next to us to continue the cleanup of spilled water. NOTE: OK, NO MORE NAPKNS, AND THE SILVERWARE SETUP INNTHE HOLDER IS: 1 napkin and two forks. GRADE SYSTEM SCALE SHAKING B+ 5. Meal arrives; Zarjana is asked to please provide a knife for the meat, a spoon for the grits and napkins. I spent 20 years teaching Equal Opportunity on active duty so, I studied "Body Language, " and her body language turned to Total Frustration. The Grading scale is now at a C. We explained, we cleaned the water that spilled in the overflowing glasses and because, there wasn't another setup, and we didn't want to call her back to clean Her mess as a server, so we took napkins from the table next to us. I mean again, we were still the only customers. She pranced away, grabbed napkins, a spoon and knife. NOTE; Yes, we explained ourselves and no, I don't know why. But anyway because the establishment was empty, we watched her and her peers rearrange the light fixtures over the bar, mingle with one another and never once did she come check in see if we needed anything. So, now we're searching for the 5 stars, but only see the reflection of passing stars. Oops, sorry that was the reflection of passing cars. WHAT DOES FIVE STAR FOOD LOOK LIKE : Hidden potatoes as warned so no surprise. You just need the proper utensils for your meal. You would think a better selection of cutting utensils for lamb chops might be a steak knife, paring knife or butcher knife. Not a Butter knife. The order was shrimp and grits. Now when your grits are leaving a trail from the kitchen to your table, send a spoon. you need a spoon. I don't return food. Either it not eaten or I eat what I can tolerate. So, my calamari was an appetizer of puffed something crunchy mixed with air. I realized it was batter once I dipped it in the sauce. Maybe three pieces of actual calamari was consumed. Thankfully, the green tomatoes were pretty good. My sister unfortunately was struggling with her lamb chop because she was given a shiny dull butter knife. And no napkins in reach. We asked another server to please have our server come to our table. A new server came out and we asked for a steak knife, spoon and napkins. Ok, enough. It doesn't get better. This was my first time at Gocba's Tapas! I'm familiar with the Breakfast Bar. I can honestly say, I'm never disappointed!! This time we had the fried green tomatoes, which are my fav!!! The salmon bites were true blend of sweet and savory! The lamb chops with mashed and spinach! Delicious!!!! Our waitress Addae checked in with us regularly. Our food came out hot! It was such a nice vibe! They have ample seating, inside or out. This time I didn't get a chance to order a cocktail, but we did have this refreshing strawberry lemonade that was perfect with our meals! This has become one of my go to spots when visiting Atlanta!

I really love this place but this location is not it.... We literally waited for a table for 30 minutes even though the restaurant was half empty.... We then waited almost 90 minutes for our food at that point I was over everything... then my bacon was burnt... the manager was not helpful... they charged for water we didn't ask for and for extra cheese we never got.... Then they tried to add automatic gratuity to a table of 2.... Don't go to this location at all...

Came to enjoy a quick bite to eat at my neighborhood Gocha's. The shrimp and crab dip is my all time favorite, it's cheesy, loaded with both shrimp and crab in every bite and it's flavorful. The toasted bread pieces they provide with the dip pair so well, they're warm and they have this garlic buttery taste - a must try! The fried green tomatoes are also a huge hit! Our server was Mimi, who was so sweet and provided us with outstanding service. From checking in on us regularly and always greeting us with such a warm smile, she really gave amazing customer service. Soft sounds of R&B are playing in the background which definitely helps set the scene but not too loud to where you can't enjoy your groups conversation. And the best part of it all, it's black owned! Definitely give this restaurant a try if ever in the area.

The mediocre food and disappointing service left me saying 'never again' to this establishment. I truly wanted to enjoy the experience because this spot has been heavily talked about as one of the newer brunch destinations with great vibes and atmosphere. Unfortunately, while the ambiance showed promise, the service in particular left a lot to be desired and ultimately overshadowed the experience.

Still amazing food, service and ambiance. I dropped in today because it was practically impossible to drive anywhere above I-20 today so I stuck to my side of town for brunch. I had just finished a race and was famished! I ordered the seafood omelette and chose a croissant and grits to accompany my dish. They give you an option to upgrade to add the seafood sauce to the omelette. I honestly think this would be good to just have as part of the dish but whatever. It was very good and my espresso martini was perfection.

Love this place. Great music, great staff, great vibes. The menu is extensive, the prices are more than fair and portions are perfect and the food is fantastic. Shout out to our servers Eric and Mimi for really making our day. I ordered the Salman Breakfast Croissant with a side of sweet potato fries and it was an amazing choice. There truly was nothing left on my plate. My partner ordered the fish and grits and what a show stopper! The grits were truly the star and the fish paired perfectly! Also, Love the fact they had a live DJ keeping the crowd swaying to some great tunes. This is definitely the go-to Sunday brunch spot. We will be back.

They have their own bottled water. I thought this was nice.

A friend of mine was celebrating his birthday and chose to have brunch at Gocha's. As a dedicated Yelper, I naturally started browsing photos and reviews ahead of time--it's just what I do. I'm a big foodie and a fan of anything with a touch of sophistication, and this place definitely delivered. I was genuinely impressed by the variety on the menu, the beautiful decor, and most importantly, the flavor of the food. Everything felt like it was done with care and intention. Easily an A+ experience. As someone raised in Atlanta, I've been to plenty of brunch spots around the city, but I often find that many miss the mark when it comes to atmosphere and presentation. Gocha's really stood out. It had a polished, elevated vibe, and our server, Tabitha, was incredibly kind and attentive. I snapped a few photos of the dishes at our table. Everyone ordered something different, and not only was the food delicious, but it was also plated beautifully. You can tell the owner has a great eye for detail--and that makes all the difference.

One day I decided to try this place out. I love the outside patio area that they have. The inside was pretty cute as well. I ordered online for a pick up. Next time I'll do a dine in as well. I ordered a lobster roll and some wings. I love spicy foods so you know I had to test the hot wings out. They were both a hit!! Now, the lobster roll was a pretty small serving. Flavorful but a small portion. The wings are great, I do wish they were fried a little longer. Other than that I loved my options. The young lady at the door was very sweet and welcoming.

Cons: The music is way too loud here!!! It's so disturbing, I couldn't hear my thoughts. I had such a headache dining here. It's like going to a club. I wasn't trying to go to the club at 7pm Friday night, I literally just wanted some good food in a nice atmosphere. The mocktails are overpriced at $10, imho not worth it. Pros: the food was delicious! Yes, they are definitely doing a good job with offering a nice variety of great tasting entrees, which I find it very hard to find really good tasting food in Atlanta. I tried several items: -Crispy Chicken Wings with lemon pepper honey hot sauce (10 out of 10) -Shrimply Divine Bruschetta (10 out of 10) -Shrimpin' Ain't Easy (10 out of 10) -Truffle Fries (10 out of 10) -Spinach & Crab Dip Hooray! (7 out of 10) to difficult to scoop Heads-up: the food's good but it ain't cheap. A 20% tip is automatically included on your bill if you spend $75 or more.

So let me tell you, this place was such a vibe! It's located in the Publix plaza close to West Lake High School. This was my first time at this location. Anyway, the moment I stepped out of my car I started dancing in the parking lot because they had a dj on the patio playing some major tunes! I believe they were hosting a political event. Small world- I actually taught her son in middle school! Anyway, we entered the restaurant and we were warmly greeted by Cornelius. He took us to our seats and showed us where to scan for the menus. I will say the music in the restaurant was very different from the music on the patio and Cornelius noticed that we were no longer dancing, so he made it his mission to have the same music on the inside. Which automatically gave him extra cool points in my book! We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday so my sister and I started off with martinis. My mom stuck to water. For the appetizer we started off with the Smokin' Salmon Sensation which was sensational! After that we were ready to order! Our waitress for the night was also working the bar, which is pretty difficult to do. Thankfully, they have a great system and Cornelius jumped in to support. Entrees: Steak Skewer Sensation , Lobster Mac Attack , Mushroom Mavens , and the Whole Snapper Fish. From start to finish, Gocha's Tapas Bar was a 10/10. Vibe. Decor. Food. Service. I always tell waiters/waitresses that my mom is a tough cookie. So if she gives you a stamp of approval, it was top tier. I will definitely be returning!

I am so glad we tried Gocha's Tapas Bar. This restaurant is close to home and has absolutely wonderful food. Diana, our waitress was outstanding. Since this was our first time dining with them she made some very delicious suggestions and she was spot on! You must try the Lobster grilled cheese! They have great appetizers and a wonderful menu. There were so many things to try, we will be back! I will be recommending them to all my neighbors! Great food, nice atmosphere and close to home! read more

Met some colleagues here for a holiday gathering and it did not disappoint! The food was very good, service was great (thanks Darius!) and the ambiance was enjoyable. Made a reservation for 12:20 it took and hr for us to be seated. Another hr to get food only for it to be cold and my entire order was wrong. Service was sub par. The manager came over with an attitude like it was my fault the food was cold and wrong.. This was the cambelton rd location!!! One thing good was the coffee! Love all of the Gocha bars but I thoroughly enjoyed the tapas bar. Our waitress was Ari and she was ahmazing! Very attentive gave great recommendations and was a sweetheart at heart, I will definitely be back the seafood Cajun fries were 10/10. The lobster and waffle was so good I subbed the waffle for the banana foster waffle bussing and the pancakes and bacon is always good. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the eggs were meh if they had eggs like Waffle House they would be 10stars. read more

Terrible experience. The owner needs to hire people with customer service know how to talk to the people and not put one waiter off to another waiter to serve a table. I have visited this restaurant many times but tonight I was so disappointed that I suggested to my friends who were celebrating their birthday to come to Gocha's. One of the birthday guests wasn't happy with their meal but the manager wasn't willing to take the dish off of the bill and allow them to order something else. The only accommodations she offered was half off...I have never experienced anything like this. I hate this happened because in the past I have enjoyed this establishment but will not come back. read more

Food is okay. Not that great about portion sizes, or up charges. The lamb chops were delicious, but the 3 for $22 and still $33 for 3, with just mash potatoes is a wow. Great presentation though. The bartender is excellent, the drinks are amazing. Maybe breakfast would be better, still try it out. (Just an opinion.) read more

Sooo we REALLY wanted to support this establishment. But unfortunately it was a no for us. We had a reservation for 6:30pm , when we arrived we were sat in the middle section . The area was alittle tight for us so we asked to be sat at a wall table which they did accommodate us. Now this is where things started going down hill. We sat down at 6:35pm never received a menu or glass of water. We didn't get a server until almost 7:00pm . (Our server did his best once he arrived). We order 2 Hennessy margaritas and 2 appetizers. It took 20 mins to receive our drinks . (Still no water) and additional 20 mins to receive our 1st appetizer which was crab dip. When we asked about our 2nd appetizer we were told the kitchen was behind and that it showed our appetizer ready even though it wasn't. Now it's already 8pm and we finally found our server to tell him to disregard our 2nd appetizer which was only fried calamari. He asked if we still wanted to order an entrée and we advised him that we had already been here for almost 1 1/2 hr and still waiting on the 2nd appetizer. Still no water or menu at this time. Manager came to apologize and gave us a $7 discount but as we are trying to pay for our 2 drinks and 1 appetizer the calamari finally arrived. So 1 1/2 hrs and $72 dollars later we left . We did tip our server but service needs serious improvement . 2 cocktails, 2 appetizers (only getting to receiving 1 ) leaving a $10 tip for server $72.00 total. read more

Food was amazing! I'm not a big fan of Fried Green tomatoes, but absolutely loved theirs and would order again. The service was awesome and I loved the ambiance. It is a Tapas spot so if you're hungry hungry, this isn't the spot. They are a bit pricey but still good food. read more

I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was great, but the chicken lacked seasoning. Their was NONE. The hot honey sauce would've masked the chicken flavor, but I had it on the side. The chicken nor the flour was seasoned. Couldn't eat it. read more

The food was very good! Especially the salmon chips. They have a nice patio outside with overhead fans. Unfortunately it started storming and we had to go inside. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. It was our first time there and she recommended a few dishes that were pretty popular. The ambiance is nice and cozy. Nicely decorated. The only reason I'm not giving it a five star is because they add a service fee. Not sure why and Gratuity is automatically included in you bill. For 2 cocktails and 2 tapas plate our bill was $90! Camp Creek location for dinner was disappointing. The brunches at the other locations are delicious and worth the wait. Camp Creeks' wings were extremely hard as if they were left overs. Manager indicated that once food touches the table, it can't be sent back. Ambiance is great with friends! If I go back, it will be for brunch, not dinner. read more

Where do I start this has been the best experience ever and I do think it's because of the service that we had by the server that goes by the name Molly. She is amazing and her recommendations were amazing. Her energy and her light is bright. You are guaranteed to have an amazing experience. This is a Tapas Bar in South Fulton, Black owners! The food and drunks are SUPERB, however pricey. There's a nice outdoor area gated there's live music or a DJ. Now they close around 11 pm it is midnight. It's not busy as if YET! Let's get the inside this restaurant! It's a nice dark setting. It's giving a date night spot. Met a few friends here for a drink and a bite to eat before attending a local play. Initially, our server Lawrence was very friendly and attentive. However, as the restaurant gained more patrons, our service went down hill fast. 1. Food came out at long and odd intervals. 2. I ordered three of the Taco Tuesday specials with shrimp. They were like warm, as you can tell they sat for some time. 3. Two of our party ordered the Tempura Green Beans as sides. They received steamed green beans and sent them back. They never received the correct order. They asked to have them removed from the bill. 4. The food runner kept bringing us other table's food. 5. We had to ask three times to have our water glasses refilled. 6. The bill comes and Lawrence told us that he could split it four even ways. 7. In reviewing the bill, we noticed that we were overcharged on our drinks, the tacos and the tempura green beans still remained. 8. Asked to speak with the manager, who wanted to help us but would not listen to understand. She kept referring to the house rules about payment methods and the gratuity. However, her staff violated house rules numbered three, four, five and six. She then took an extreme amount of time "correcting" our bill. Mind you this was after she suggested that "we leave and come back to have the bill corrected." She then comes back and returned the difference in cash. Ambiance - Cozy, nice furnishings, large outdoor patio and good music. Food - Tasty but it would be more enjoyable if it all came out timely. Menu - Loose the house rules. It basically says that you don't want people to stay long, you don't want to pay card transaction fees and your servers don't have to maintain quality service because their tip is included. read more

Visited Gosha's Tapa bar today, and it was a hit! We had the salmon chips, brussel sprouts, taco flight, shrimp and crab dip, steak skewers (sooo delicious!), and lobster roll. Everything was prepared well and tasted absolutely delicious. Our service was top notch from the time we walked in to the time we left. Our sweet and knowledgeable server, Nita, was excellent. She gave us drink and dish recommendations. The bartender even suggested drinks that we could substitute for a liquor that we wanted but they didn't carry. I will be back with more of my foodie friends! read more

The whole table was surprised on how good it was. Shrimp appetizer- the best "bang bang" shrimp I've had. Shrimps are very large and has a nice fruit salsa to go with. Everyone at the table loved their entrees but I can only truly speak for the ones I tried. Seafood Curry- I will NEVER eat curry anywhere else! I LOVEEEEE THIS CURRY! All the seafood is so fresh, the curry is so flavorful that I literally slurped the rest off my plate. There was also such a variety of veggies in there that were also very fresh and firm (not soggy). For the price especially, you get sooooo much and with such a thoughtful recipe. According to our waitress, it's the only recipe that hasn't changed since the restaurant opened in 2012! Fried chicken - I didn't try the chicken itself, but I did try the Mac and cheese and greens that came with it. Let me tell you, I am very picky about Mac and cheese and this rivals the best Mac and cheese I've had in Atlanta (toast on Lenox)! For dessert, all 4 of us shared one slice of the suspension cake and couldn't even finish it! It was ginormous (literally the size of your head). I won't even go into details- just order it! While I was disappointed to miss their brunch, we decided to explore the dinner menu and indulged in a variety of dishes, each one more delicious than the last. Highlights included the Shrimp & Crab Dip, which was rich and flavorful, and the Salmon Cakes That Rule, absolutely living up to their name. The Taco Bout Delicious was a fun take on classic flavors, while the Fried Green Tomatoes added a perfect crunch to our meal. Lastly, the Jammin' Lollipop Lamb was a standout dish, showcasing the chef's creativity and knack for flavor combinations. I work generally around the corner from Gocha's and decided to go on a Friday night to check the vibe and customer service, after the initial visit I fell in love with the fast service and great waitstaff! We had a server Ari that went on to to do amazing things, but we miss her and loved how she came over to kick it with us a bit everytime we visited, it felt like home. My fav drink is been a long day and the passionfruit margarita, the happy hour drinks are tiny, but they pack a punch! I have tried nearly everything on the menu and it never disappoints.. crab and shrimp dip is bomb, the fish sandwich and truffle fries...amazing! I want some now thinking about them! Seafood omelette was yumm, along with the lamb and grits! Shrimp ceviche was also light and filling just enough. Nice Ambiance we had a great 5star experience our waitress was Leah she was very knowledgeable of the menu gave great selections and drinks. She was very engaging always kept a smile, our food was good no complaints salmon tacos are a must, crab dip was amazing food came out in a timely matter. The waitress there wear this cute uniforms very different, there is a 6% service fee for what no clue and a 14% gratuity which the waitresses may share because its a team effort concept everyone helps each other. I would recommend to my friends and associates it would be a great after work and date night spot. Going to sit at the bar next it's very nice establishment overall you should try them. read more

Gocha's Tapas Bar exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and music set the perfect tone for a fantastic evening. Our server, Molly, was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. We started with the shrimp and crab dip, which was absolutely delicious. For our entrees, we had the fish and fries, fried shrimp, and street corn--all cooked to perfection. The flavors were spot on! The drinks were equally amazing and complemented our meal beautifully. While in Atlanta visiting friends, we visited Gocha's Tapas Bar for dinner and had an amazing experience. Our server (Tabitha) was amazing. Thanks, Tabitha! It was also a pleasant surprise to have other staff members periodically stop by our table to ensure our dining experience met our expectations. Tabitha was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and was able to quickly offer recommendations for many of us who were indecisive and not sure what to order. I had the shrimp with the waffle and it was good. The shrimp was battered perfectly , definitely crunchy and flavored. The waffle was cool , fluffy. I do personally like more of a crispy waffle but if you like fluffy Belgian-like waffles I'd suggested to try it. And Tabitha the Bartender definitely made the solo outing cherish-able. The grapefruit tequila drink she'd made was bomb and she made me a caramel vanilla coffee for my brunch. The r&b playlist made the vibe of the place relaxed as well. Nita gave amazing service and the atmosphere was amazing. Both of my friends food was great! My food not so much. Blueberry pancakes had about 6 blueberries total, they only give you one cup of syrup for two huge pancakes, my eggs were supposed to be scrambled softly with cheese, they were soft but not to my liking. They were remade without the cheese and at that point I just ate them. The manager did come apologize and I believe she took that pancakes off the order which she didn't have to do I was going to pay regardless. Outside of that everything was amazing. This is a VERY SPECIAL place restaurant to have a great meal, everything from our arrival, being greeted and seated, promptly being served then by a charming Lady Ari. I reserved Gocha's Tapas Bar for my mother's birthday. Food was excellent. Also, Trenise was a wonderful server and assisted us promptly. All of the additional servers were welcoming too and even sang to my Mom. The music was a good mix of R & B and my Mom thoroughly enjoyed herself. Oh wow, $16.95 for shrimp scampi and I was generously served a whopping 3 shrimp! And to top it off, they weren't even jumbo shrimp. gocha's never disappoints! i've tried the location on campbellton rd/camp creek and the food is delicious. however, i visit the location on cascade road every friday and oh my gosh!!! there is not one bad thing on the menu for vegans!!! and the team that work on the food truck are always delivering excellent customer service and food! everything i've ordered is amazing but especially the cauliflower pizza! it's to die for. read more

How Can you complain about good service and food to match?! Eric was a phenomenal server and the personality to match! We had a group of 17 and he was on point!
