Solid KBBQ spot! Food is excellent. Service depends on who you get. Overall, only place we go to for Korean BBQ.

just went here for the first time for a friends birthday. i've never been to kbq but been wanting to go since i love korean food and go to other korean restaurants. the food was amazing, we got combo A since it sounded the best. It was way enough to share between 4 people and the cost was pretty good. it was about $85 total. we also got the fried dumplings and they were amazing. next time i go i want to try the bulgogi and maybe fried rice but i really like everything i had. the service was great. they weren't too busy when we can so the atmosphere was calm and nice to where i could peacefully eat and enjoy myself. our burner kept going off so the waiter had to keep coming over and helping so we felt bad but he was very apologetic and didn't mind helping. he also kept asking if we wanted anything else to eat so that was nice. definitely can't wait to come back.

A very good Korean BBQ experience. We definitely over-ordered for two people. We got two meats to grill + japchae as an appetizer, and the portions were abundant. Nothing wrong with having leftovers, though... The BBQ-ing experience was quick, easy and neat. The bulgogi was the definite star, and the banchan sides + sauces took it to even greater heights. We probably could have done without the marinated short rib. The bone-in composition was less-preferred in hindsight. But if you like the dish in general, you'll like GOGI's version. The japchae was solid. The miso soup with tofu wasn't much to discuss. The steamed egg was good and enhanced the other meats when combined. Special shout out to our server who answered our questions and kindly gave my wife a Tempura Ice Cream after we mentioned that it was my wife's birthday. That was very unexpected but appreciated. And by the way, that fried ice cream was pretty darn good and substantial in its own right.

Food is delicious. I've been here twice. All of the extras taste so fresh. Love it here! The restaurant is upbeat with K-pop music videos and music. Service was extremely attentive. Constantly coming by to ask if we would like the grill changed out or needed anything else. Combo A is $80 and was a little too much for 2 people but we pushed through. Could definitely be eaten by 3.

Guys I finally tried the kbbq anc it was lovely. I stopped for lunch during a weekday so it wasnt too busy (it gets HELLA packed Friday nights my god) and did the bbq by myself. They had no issue with that and didn't require a minimum order. I got the bulgogi and the galbi and just yes. Great place, decent banchan and chill staff - definitely stop by!

Me and my friends went here for Restaurant Week. Me and my boyfriend have never had Korean BBQ before so we were pretty excited but our friends who went with have been there numerous times. They were the experts! The staff was a great, very welcoming and kind. We ordered the Fried Dumplings as our appetizer and it was crispy and had great flavor! The star of the show was the Beef Bulgogi, had amazing flavor and giving my friend the props he grilled it to perfection - it was so tender! The banchan sides were also amazing sidekicks, the kimchi and pickled radish. Can't wait to come here again! Great service, very kind staff!

Contrary to what is posted on their website, they do not do reservations for any size groups, regardless of the night of the week.

Their website says they offer gluten-free options and that you can call to make large group reservations. I called and was told they have no gluten free options and they do not accept reservations, regardless of the size of the group. We were hoping to make a Thursday evening reservation for 11 people. They should update their website if they aren't going to offer gluten-free options or except reservations.

Ask the Community - GOGI Korean BBQ

Is the restaurant all you can eat?

    No.

Why do they advertise on their website that they have gluten free options but the employees tell me they don't offer anything gluten free?

Actually there are many gluten free options. Anything that is not marinated is gluten free. Combo A and combo B are both entirely gluten free options.

I seen you can't reserve a table on weekends but it was posted last yr, is it still the same?

When we visited you could not make reservations

    Is the meat Halal?

No, they do not have halal meat. Would be great to offer

Are there any gluten free options?

Contrary to what is posted on their website, they do not. I asked what their gluten free options are and was told "nothing on the menu is gluten free".

    Can you make a reservation?

Yes. Reservations are available on weekdays. Unfortunately, we cannot reserve tables on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

What are their hours on Sunday?

At their location now. I can confirm that it is 11:30am-12am. They stop taking food orders at 11:15 pm.

We decided to do the hot pot so we all have our own little pots to eat out of. They have a little bar in the front of the restaurant where it has all kinds of fixings and dipping items, sesame, red bean balls. So delicious. I will say that the prices are a little much, especially if you're not someone that eats a lot. And if you decide to take whatever food that you have even if it's just the broth home, you have to pay an extra $14 for it. There is no meal options for people who had gastric bypass or can't eat a lot of food at once. Other than that, it is really tasty and delicious many options even vegan ones! We got all kinds of vegetables, tofu, and I got the shrimp dumplings. The waitress was also really friendly and patient with us.

I'm used to Korean BBQ in California, especially OZ Korean BBQ, and the difference is noticeable. Their appetizers are made fresh to order, their meat is much better quality, and even the desserts are better. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the K-Pot option here. For $40, I expected better-quality meat and fresher, more flavorful food. It's not terrible, but there are definitely better Korean BBQ options for the price.

But please... father I have failed you for 20 years, please I need you to to guide my sword and I cannot do it alone. It's the broth. Before anyone says "high prices for non premium ingredients"... I say hold on... it comes down to: labor and love. Korean cooking is not just ingredients alone. It is the salt. It is the hand kneading, flavor, and marrying of such (pun). There is more than a spirit in the cooking. More than just the soul. But emotion. Maybe Koreans feel this in our blood. Authentic Korean fare | Karaoke nightly…read more Blink and you'll miss it. Restaurant Silla is one of those hidden-in-plain-sight gems -- tucked in the same shopping center as Marc's, yet I'd walked past it for years without noticing. A coworker finally nudged me to give it a shot, and I'm glad they did. Inside, it's cozy but vibrant. Neon lighting dances off paper lanterns above, and there's a fish tank so boldly decorated it could double as an aquarium exhibit. (Shoutout to whoever's in charge of the underwater vibe.) Ordering is all done via touchscreen tablets at the table -- easy, fast, and gives you space to browse without pressure. ‍ As for the food... let's break it down: * Chap Chai ($16) Stir-fried glass noodles with beef and veggies This was my personal order -- and unfortunately, a one-bite fail. The noodles were clumped and glossy with a sauce texture I couldn't get past. I passed the dish off, and to be fair, the person who finished it texted later saying it was actually really good... but understood why I couldn't hang. Texture-sensitive eaters, consider yourself warned. * Young-Ja Mandu (Large - $25) Deep-fried dumplings with spicy sauce and a side salad The dumplings themselves? Excellent -- crispy, flavorful, no complaints. The salad was surprisingly fruity, with chunks of apple, pear, and possibly mango tossed in. Super fresh, a little odd, but definitely not forgettable. * Fried Dumplings ($8) Pork and veggie, served with seasoned soy sauce These were the winner of the night. Perfectly crisp outside, juicy and flavorful inside. Straightforward and well-executed -- I'd come back for these alone. Before the entrees landed, we were served a complimentary spread of banchan (Korean side dishes) -- a mix of pickled radish, cucumbers, bean sprouts, a creamy slaw, something red and spicy that might've been seafood... who knows, but I'd eat it again. It was a thoughtful, generous touch and gave the meal a more immersive feel. A few things to know: - This is authentic Korean food, not Americanized. If something doesn't hit right, it's likely your palate -- not the kitchen. - Prices had me expecting either larger portions or more premium ingredients. That wasn't always the case, so plan your order accordingly. Final Thought: Silla isn't trying to be everyone's favorite. It leans into traditional Korean flavors and textures unapologetically -- and I respect that. If you're the kind of eater who's curious, open-minded, and willing to explore beyond your usual go-tos, this place offers a real-deal intro to Korean dining. Bonus points if you stay for karaoke -- or just bask in the glowing neon and aquarium glow while sipping on hot tea.

Quick and attentive service. We started with crispy dumplings (6), crispy egg rolls (2), and a scallion pancake. Bing, their crepe, wasn't available our night. My dining companions loved the pancake - for me perhaps a bit too much drizzled sauce. It was helpfully quartered when brought to the table so sharing was easy. The dumplings were indeed crispy and probably my favorite with a standard dark dipping sauce. The egg rolls were standard and perhaps a bit undersized and over fried, but a good creamy dipping sauce was a pivot away from the sweet chili sauce that usually accompanies such apps. Ramen is clearly the focus of the menu and three of us had ramen with chicken and one with pork. They spoke favorably of the broth and the combos of mushrooms, boiled egg, greens. I had the rice vermicelli with chicken that they called a salad. I was expecting the classic Vietnamese staple but this one had some adaptations, perhaps to a fusion or one might say less ethnic nod. Small things but the ample portion served in a small bowl made it hard to mix the rice noodles, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and chicken that is a common approach to the dish after drowning all the ingredients in both sweet sauce (nuoc cham), siracha and/or hoisin sauce. It only came with the nuoc cham. They brought Siracha when I asked for it, but I'm a fan of having these condiments on the table standard. Again, had the sense that the business lunch crowd that is probably the primary audience isn't likely to be as focused on the more authentic ingredients. The chicken was also not grilled and sliced but had a pleasant preparation. Just know it won't be the charred flavor that is so common. Finally, not to obsess on this one dish, but cutting the lettuce leaves more would enable easier chop sticks combos of the ingredients in single bites. Overall it worked for us. I am definitely the most focused on (my companions would say obsessed) on connection to what these dishes should be. If adaptations work well for you, Tiger+Lily likely will as well.
