Not kidding, the best spring rolls, banh mi's, Vietnamese coffee, and pho I've had in years, and this was all in one location. The best way to describe it, is a Vietnamese food take of the custom "build your own" Chipotle fresh, healthy, and clean approach. The restaurant is immaculately clean with a casual feel, while serving high quality, freshly made, gourmet level dishes. The banh mi's were not only insanely huge, they were made with fresh and high quality ingredients, packed with flavor. I had the beef and the pork, and could not decide which I liked better. The spring rolls were also crazy huge. Each bite was packed with flavor with a perfect blend of soft and crisp. And the dipping sauces! Don't get me started on the dipping sauces! Amazing flavors! The green house one was like nothing I've ever had. I may be addicted to that green sauce. And then there's the Pho, which I'm told was recently added to the regular menu. Let me tell you that I would put Goi's pho up against any pho in Garden Grove. Besides having a flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, the fresh and clean, high quality steak and ingredients is what puts this pho above all others. Was in the area and was in the mood for a bahn mi. Goi certainly didn't disappoint. The size of the sandwich was outstanding and accompanying sauces complimented it very well. I guess I was extra hungry since I had two egg rolls too. It's owned by husband-and-wife duo Brian and Jennifer Boquecosa, and you can really taste the care and authenticity in every dish. All the recipes come from Jennifer, and it shows suttle and delicious flavors, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced sauces. I tried a bit of everything: Spring Rolls (3 for $14.95) I got the garlic shrimp, and they were super fresh and flavorful. Packed with mixed greens, cilantro, pickled carrots, basil, and green onion. Loved the texture! Bánh Mì was Filled with juicy marinated pork and drizzled with nước chấm. Super crunchy bread, and the flavor combo was so satisfying. Goi Bowl, I went all in with Vietnamese pork sausage over white rice, topped with "The Whole Shebang": chopped peanuts, roasted sesame, garlic bits, and onion flakes. Every bite had layers of flavor and texture. Fried eggrolls, Golden, crispy, and honestly addictive. And let's talk sauces. Finally a good Vietnamese spot opened up in Los Feliz! We tried their beef ribeye pho and it was waaaay better than what we expected. The broth was fatty, flavorful and had a really deep flavor profile and the beef pieces were super tender. I love that they also added meatballs in it. The noodles were also really soft but not overcooked. We really enjoyed the pho, can't wait to come back and try their other dishes. Oh btw currently they only serve pho Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The service was great too, very quick and very clean inside! When we went, we were the only customers dinning inside. It was delicious but when I added this green and dark sauce they offered it brought my meal to another level!!!! I wanted to order a 2nd one. If you are looking for a quick to-go type meal, Goi is the perfect spot. You can pick your choice of 3 spring rolls, a bowl, or banh mi. I opted for the spring rolls with nem and grilled beef with all toppings and fillings. For sauce I got the classic and peanut sauces which were both delicious. Filling and healthy, I wish that more cuisines did this type of concept. I've tried Paper Rice in Pasadena which is practically the same, but I'm glad there is a spot in this part of LA. My son got a beef Goi bowl and it was seasoned so well that it barely needed sauce, despite the sauce being delicious as well. Was so excited about customizable Vietnamese fast casual. I eagerly waiting for my food with one of the best Vietnamese Iced Coffee I have ever had. It was just sweet enough to cut a rich and properly bitter coffee -- I'll come back just for this vs hitting up a coffee shop. The food was good but I made a mistake getting the spring rolls with pork. While the vegetables were fresh and the peanut sauce excellent -- the pork was over seasoned, too salty, too dry, and crumbly. Maybe I got the bottom of the hotel pan but this is not the kind of pork you want in a fresh roll. I would rate this one star but I do think I would love this pork in a Bahn Mi. The other issue with using proteins across items is the spring rolls means a warm meat in a fresh roll. This creates a lukewarm hybrid that feels not as good and fresh as a prepped and chilled roll you might get at other Hmong or Vietnamese spots. I can't wait to try the sandwiches and bowls. Based on the looks, smells, and freshness of the ingredients I bet that is where Goi shines -- and of course I'll be back for the excellent iced coffee hungry or not read more

Bright clean restaurant with a great staff, but the food and restaurant execution was just ok. The pork banh mi ($14.95) was too dry without an accompanying sauce which was an extra 57 cents each. They also have a 3 percent credit card charge that they don't tell you about. Sauce charges and credit card charges are my top 2 major restaurant pet peeves. I ordered the spring rolls---two shrimp and one nem, with all the toppings--and they were very fresh and delicious. LOVED all of the crispies. Great textures and flavor. Place is no frills, "fast food", but a healthy option for the area. Do not expect a cozy cafe with decor, but more of a white walled, clean Chipotle, which I think is what they're going for...a new entry into the corporate fast food arena but one that doesn't have distinctive or memorable branding yet. I wish they did! Maybe that will come or maybe they don't need it. The food IS tasty. Employees were also friendly, if new (they just opened). My first roll fell apart while eating, but with the other two, she improved, making them tighter, after getting gentle feedback from the owner. The only true negative from my experience is the cost. It costs $14.95 for three spring rolls PLUS there is an additional charge for shrimp for each roll you choose to be shrimp so my total cost became $20 for three spring rolls. This seems expensive, no? Especially when you can go to Pho VT up the street and get three shrimp spring rolls (yes all shrimp) for $10.50. I would say Goi has a few more enticing ingredients than Pho, but is it worth a 60% markup? Unsure. My unsolicited opinion would be to offer four spring rolls in the $14.95 option, but if they're already charging extra for a few shrimps, it seems like food budget is tight. read more

Absolutely wonderful! Their pho broth is so insanely good, I just finished it and want another round. We got shrimp spring rolls and those were perfection, so fresh and crisp. The only little complaint is bahn mi being a bit dry but my husband loved it. The bread was fresh and crisp, so were all other ingredients. Maybe add a bit more mayo or another sauce.
