this is such an interesting take on goi cuon! it's basically like a chipotle bar where you can pick up to three different types of meat. i ordered the three spring rolls with nem, grilled shrimp, and beef. i was pleasantly surprised when they offered banh hoi as a topping, which complimented the roll well. you get two sauces but we got to try all 4. out of all 4, i recommend the peanut sauce and classic fish sauce. out of the protein choices, my favorites were the shrimp and nem. the shop is small but a cute space for a quick lunch, would def recommend visiting! read more

I've always enjoyed the Vietnamese food, but found my favorite place, up until now, didn't have shrimp spring rolls so that was the first thing I looked for. My maiden trip here I had two shrimp garlic, and one beef spring rolls, and they were delicious. 3 to an order is the perfect size and you can mix and match between at least 5 proteins. The crunchy filling addition takes it to the next level. Completely customizable fillings & toppings. I loved the peanut sauce, but added the cilantro jalapeño at their suggestion and I'm so glad I did. Can't wait to try their bahn mi, but those springs roll were totally satisfying so that will have to wait for another day. What an awesome new addition to the neighborhood! We've been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks. The food is fresh, bright, lovingly prepared. The bahn mi is legit! The French bread is perfectly crusty, the veggies inside so tasty. I've had the chicken which is super tender and big on flavor, and the naem-- Vietnamese baked sausage -- which they make in house. Portion was good but not enough dressing for the size. Noodles were a bit flavorless. Chicken was okay. Shrimp did not taste fresh, not firm. The first time I came, the food was flavorful and fresh, but the tofu and shrimp in the spring rolls felt like they needed a tiny touch of salt. Fast forward to my last visit and they nailed it. The proteins now have just the right amount of salt, and it takes the flavors to a whole new level. Truly incredible. I ordered the spring rolls again and my boyfriend got a bowl both were outstanding. The guy behind the counter was so kind and even gave me one shrimp spring roll for free when I asked to buy just one (they normally come in a pack of four). I'm so glad he did, because next time I'm absolutely ordering a full set. I also have to rave about the build-your-own bowl: we did half beef, half shrimp with a base of half mixed greens and half rice noodles. It was perfection. One super unique touch that I've never seen anywhere else: they roll an egg roll wrapper by itself (no filling) and tuck it into the spring roll and serve a couple on the side of the bowl.
