I ordered the vegetarian rice rolls/ or Banh Coun and my husband ordered the combo pho. My husband like his dish but I'm vegetarian so I couldn't try it to speak on it. For the rice rolls I ordered, the only thing I did not like were the actual rice sheets, but the filling and dipping sauce was very good. I grew up in SoCal and always eat in Little Saigon so it's hard to not compare. But that aside and considering that this is a fully vegetarian, Vietnamese dish in a location with little Asian ingredients around, I'm super impressed. The crispy shallots, the dipping sauce was delicious and the filling was very well done. I totally understand how difficult it is to get fresh rice rolls available on demand like this, this place might even have to make them fresh in house, which is super pro. Goji's has been our go to spot when we don't know what to do for dinner and can't decide/agree on where to go. For years now we've had consistent, delicious and all around great food/experiences. The homemade potstickers are AWESOME! Super satisfying. Other favorites are the crispy tofu, shiitake mushroom spinach salad and BBQ pork over noodles (to name a few). I love Pho, and I love Chinese food, but I have few options when I tell a waitstaff that I can't have MSG, flour, or soy sauce. Here, that is not a problem! When I took my fam here for father's day lunch, I was excited because neither my brother nor my dad had been here. All of us like pho, and it's always interesting when we try a new one to see where it rates among the pho's we've had over the years. I do believe this one is one of the best. The noodles are tender and not over cooked, the meats and veggies are fresh and flavorful, but the reason to come here is the pho broth. Teeming with spices and delightful notes of cilantro, green onions, and fresh basil, this broth is what keeps us coming back time and again. If you're not in the mood for soup, or it was hot as hades like it was on father's day, there's always selections from the chinese area of the menu as well. I talked to the waitress about my dietary restrictions, and she whipped up a wheat free garlic sauce over lightly cooked veggies and chicken with wild rice on the side. Really good. As always, dessert was not an option, and since it was father's day, the fathers at the table were treated to gogi berry pana cotta on the house. I prefer my pana cotta to be on the creamy side rather than on the jello-set side, but regardless, it was good. In my opinion one of the best places for Chinese food in the area. Comparable to Kirin in Bennett Valley. Most of the Entree's are in the 18 - 25 dollar range so you're definitely paying for it, but the food is very clean - not fatty, greasy, or gooey like a lot of Chinese food. This is a premier Chinese food experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and more importantly felt good after the experience as sometimes that's not true with Chinese food. Also, the ambiance is considerably nicer than most Chinese restaurants - tablecloths and a pleasant interior. I highly recommend this to anyone that isn't looking for a 'cheap' meal. read more

Goji Kitchen served up the plumpest, meatiest potstickers I've ever had. Quite tasty, as well. One a piece was sufficient in order to try the other dishes we ordered to share with family. We got the appetizer sampler, which featured the goat cheese-stuffed fresh spring rolls. Excellent! Lemongrass chicken was good, but not great. The lemongrass flavor was too subtle to be remarkable. The nephews wanted sweet and sour shrimp, which featured very plump, juicy, and tender shrimp. The pineapple chunks also tasted fresh. Another nephew ordered beef pho and gave it a thumbs up. We sat outside and received attentive service. The dining room inside was well appointed with a water feature near the entrance. I would return when in the area again. read more

We go there for the spring rolls and egg rolls. Very tasty and fresh. This is our go to when we are bringing appetizers to a dinner event.

Worse customer service ever the owner has no clue about customer service I order on the phone for pickup once I arrived the had my order wrong and instead of trying to correct my order trying to argue with and going trough my food trying to take the wrong order out he was touching the food with his dirty hand and still trying to argue with me. I hope health department will pay this place a visit. I do not recommend this place to anyone as the owner doesn't follow health protocol and absolutely no sense of customer service.. Clean ingredients, delicious, great portions. This has become my top choice for Vietnamese/ Chinese cuisine in Sonoma county for sure. I'm not vegan but the vegan broth and veggies are delicious . Was just passing thru town and ended here based on a geographical search. I had a rich plate which was okay. But to share with the table we had a special of eggplant with tofu. Usually this is a dish that is fairly simple and universally similar across many Asian restaurants but this version took me for a spin. All of it was fried with a heavy coated of sugar. And really wanted to enjoy. But each bite was kinda hard which is kinda opposite of what my mind usually anticipates when eating eggplant or tofu. So ignoring the health level of the dish...I do not recommend it. Add into my mix the orange chicken lunch special and it was more of the same. Pork probably a better choice. These are the fresh rolls wrapped in rice paper; thankfully NO beansprouts. Banh Cuon: fresh rice noodle with pork. Very rare, even in SFBay Area. Delicate, almost transparent rice noodles. Grilled pork was 5-star, tasty with crusty edges and grill marks. Cooked well-done (traditional) but meat well marinated. Won Ton Soup has definite Vietnamese edge but very tasty broth. Palm sugar, maybe? Not sweet but has that rounded flavor from caramelization. 5-star. Clay Pot Rice. Mixed meats and vegetables with fried rice, this casserole was twice the size we were expecting. It is excellent and our friends (who took the leftovers) demanded to know where we got this from! Goji balances value with good quality ingredients, and brings everything up a level with thoughtful and skilled execution. This is not a destination restaurant but if you enjoy Vietnamese food and are in the area, it might be worth giving Goji a try. It focuses on a mix of Viet and Chinese dishes, with a clearer focus on consistent quality and execution. The sugar is within bounds rather than always being the most overwhelming flavor. The flavors are better balanced than the sad average of EBay Vietnamese restaurants. We enjoyed our meal and would not hesitate to return. I was greeted by a sweet Asian woman asking what I would like to drink after placing softly the menu on the table. I ordered the beer you see in the pic. A sweet gal named Juliet asked me for my order. I ordered the yellow coconut curry w/a side of organic brown rice wrapped in a banana leaf. While dinning here take 10 seconds to hear the ambient water falling in the entrance. The look of it was one of delight. The sauce had a medium thickness to it and a perfect balance of veggies and chicken. The organic brown rice was wrapped in a banana leaf and you could taste the health of it. She mentioned a favorite dish and a couple more things to try which I will since this dish was so good. I rate them 5 stars as they have covered all three main things of a good place to eat, ambience, customer service, and delicious foods! I do want to add how reasonably price this food is. My review stands with Heidi D and Stephanie S. I really wanted to like this place and was truly bummed my experience didn't go as well as others Yelpers have reported. This place rocked the reviews at a solid 4 star (when I yelped them in January 2018). My hopes were high and the photos on Yelp looked inviting and delicious. Upon entering we were unnoticed as we stood for several upon several minutes minutes waiting behind the large art gong next to a sign that says, "Please Wait to be Seated" Only issue with that is, that large gong hid us as we went unnoticed. Once seated, we were given menus. It took about 15 minutes for our water and orders to be placed. The service was very very slow. After, I drank my water, it was noticed, "lemme get you some more water"...... then crickets. He never came back. We noticed the dishes coming out to other tables, not one table received their food all at once. It seemed like it was one plate at a time. That happened with us as well. One dish and then the other many moons apart. The egg rolls were nothing to write home about and comparable to something in the frozen department from Costco. The Spicy Tan Tan noodle special was... well, nothing special and not spicy. My husband drenched his under cooked noodles in soy sauce to give it some kind of flavor. My vegetable curry was served with very under cooked vegetables. They were a level 2 or 3 on the cooked factor. The bill came with 2 stale pre packaged fortune cookies. I didn't eat mine, frankly because it was stale. When we got home, we literally chucked our food in the trash. Maybe we hit it on an off day? But it just worth the WOW factor. You get tons of food for the cost but we would rather pay double the price for much better quality. Over the years we have visited Goji many times and considered it one of our go-to restaurants. However, something seems to have changed; 2 recent meals, sit-down in restaurant, were nearly unedible. I had a lemongrass chicken that was, for lack of a better word, a pile of overcooked chicken with mushy onion, whatever, with a few strands of tasteless lemongrass. My partner had a "bun", which has been a favorite of ours, which was bland, overcooked chicken, tasteless shrimp. Looks like an entirely new service staff (very friendly and available). I had done a group order for my law firm on Grubhub yesterday which did not work out well since one person did not put their order in until today but when I tried to look at who hasn't got there order in all the orders were gone. I had to enter in orders myself. Besides all of that the Delivery and food was awesome. We have about 10 people in our office during the shelter in place. I did not get pictures of anyones food but the packaging and labels were perfect. I orderd the homemade pot stickers and omg they are freaking huge and a lot of them. I ordered the grilled pork, prawns imperial rolls with Rice Vermicelli. The pot stickers are amazing and the portions are really big which is good lol. Got delivery- chicken curry with squash and chicken with broccoli. The delivery went well- especially notable during the shelter-in-place order. The curry was only OK- pretty bland and too sweet for me. We ended up basically mixing it in the same bowl with our chicken and broccoli, and the bites with that were the best - really packed with garlic flavor.
