Next were the protein choices, which included lemon salmon, a gorgeous prime rib with horseradish sauce, and baked ham. Finally, a groaning dessert table with carrot cake, delightfully tangy key lime pie, coconut cake, chocolate torte, and red velvet cake. When I asked for an extra serving of their homemade pecan butter, I was informed upfront that there would be an additional charge....a level of honesty that's surprisingly rare these days.
