I haven't been in years, and now I remember why we don't come here. The food was so disappointing: dry, no flavor, cold. The best thing I ate was the chocolate covered strawberries. Even the salad bar was sad, the veggies were brown. The spicy sausage was so oily and gross. My 4 year old daughter liked her dinner roll so i guess that was the highlight. The pros were that service was good and our server Dorys was really attentive and nice. Cons. There was a huge selection of food, but I wish the cooks would mixed the food before it had a hard crusty top. Most of it didn't look fresh at all, but if you did get some of it, it actually tastes decent. Presentation was a mess. Hello, on June 28, 2025, my family and I visited Golden Corral for my father's 91st birthday celebration 14 family members and friends total. Out of the 14 people, 9 of us got sick from the food, we experienced severe vomiting, diarrhea, stomachache, weakness, and our bodies were feeling very tired and dehydrated. Oh my God, it was awful. They didn't have the steak on the line at the time I went but the sliced beef I did have was a little on the overcooked side. This had to be the grossest restaurant experience I've ever had. For starters, it's $23 a person which is outrageous for what I witnessed today. The food looked OLD, had a weird coloring to everything. The meat loaf looked super off color gray, the fish had a pink center and not white, the chicken was dry as heck that you could tell it had been sitting under a heat lamp baking for hours. There was some pulled pork looking stuff that looked super dry as well. Nothing was prepared with care. I'm shocked no one is sick after eating this food. The health inspectors really need to visit this place. There was some water or mysterious liquid falling from one of the vents bouncing off the glass near food....the kitchen floors were soaked with debris from food, trash, plastic, looked sticky. The grills have not been cleaned in DAYS you can tell because of all the build up on them and gross food that is sticking to it. The tubs they have sitting around random places are gross. The ice cream machine was a disaster with spilling ice cream every where. The lettuce at the salad bar was wilted brown. The person who put it out should obvious know that's not good lettuce. The ranch tasted sort of off, All of the meat tasted off. Except for the popcorn shrimp. I ate an enchilada that had some mysterious BROWN shaded meat and it was not beef. You know how you can look at something and think that something doesn't look "right" well i had that thought many times. Again It just made me feel like I shouldn't be eating this. Who ever the manager is there does not care. If they did this wouldn't be happening. The napkin holder at our table was filthy and had sticky stuff on the side and loads of dust so clearly that's my sign that no one ever cleans them. So if they're not cleaning the table right just imagine what the parts we don't see look like. Place needs to be looked at for sanitary and health violations asap. Long lines and increased price aside; once inside, we found very little food at 3 PM. I was stunned. The restaurant was packed and customers were still flowing in yet 75% of the food trays were empty. You were lucky to find a plate. My husband didn't want to try and get our money back. He was ready to eat ANYTHING. After an arduous search, I spotted some unwanted smoked chicken in front of the anxious carnivores lined up in front of the steaks being grilled. Eventually, I ended up with a plate of food that was appealing. Golden Corral was making $14 a person off people who were eating any food that showed up out of the kitchen. There was next to none of the supposedly incredible seafood, ribs, carved meats, smoked meats, burgers, sandwiches, pasta and other dishes as advertised on TV. It was a zoo and a joke and I will never go back. They should have turned customers away or held the line until they were prepared to feed people. It was ridiculous. Within walking distance of our hotel so we gave it a shot. It was $45 for two adults and two kids (6 and 4) for the breakfast buffet. That was without drinks; we only got water. First of all, it was very confusing. We paid at the entrance and were sent off with no cups or utensils. We figured we would grab them near the buffet. We grabbed our food and found a table. We walked around awkwardly looking for utensils and cups while keeping an eye on the kids and food. We asked a few people walking around and learned that the server working the area delivered both the drinks and silverware. Our food was cold by the time we got to eat it. The buffet had many options...your basic breakfast items plus the most random other food options. Chicken Caesar salad, enchiladas, fried chicken, rice, etc. The fruit bar was all canned fruit, not fresh. Two types of sausage were got were raw in the middle.
