This has been my family's favorite place to go for years, but just recently they must have gotten a new food supplier or something because the food is NOT the same. The flavor has changed and it's just not as good as it used to be. Too bad, we'll have to find another favorite Asian buffet. I really don't have anything bad to say about this buffet other than being so crowded. That just mean food is good there. Came down to Arlington for grocery shopping and saw this buffet highly recommended. This restaurant is big and can hold alot of people. Once you step in, you see the hibachi station, and sushi surrounding the station. Weird concept but each restaurant is different style. Everything was fresh. What was very surprising for me was the oysters on a half shell. Most places shuck the oyster and freeze them overnight But not this place. Fresh and delicious! $14.99 adt for dinner time and plus 2.99 for soda. Not the cheapest price in town but considering constant refilling fresh food. It's worth every penny read more

As soon as I walked in, there was an unclean and bad smell. There was a bucket of dirty water next to the table we sat in the large isolated room. The food was mediocre and flavorless. Garlic green beans were sour and chicken dumplimg was sour. They are serving bad food and don't care. Floors were sticky and tables dirty. There has to be better and cleaner buffets. Woooooow!! This place is terrible We came in at 8:10pm and had little to no food and customer service is beyond beeeeeyoooooond at the lowest form of service. They close at 9:30pm but they decided to stop making food and turned off all their food warmers even the freezer for the ice cream. I wanted food from the grill and not one of them spoke English and they decided to eat lunch instead of serving. There's allot of people inside and they weren't making any food and ignored me while I was standing at the grill waiting for somebody to help but nope all of them kept making noises and smirking. Lady never came back with our drinks they we waited 20mins for so then a kid seriously a kid maybe 14yrs old came up to the grill doesn't say anything and gives me the cold shoulder and acts like I wasn't there. He misses up my plate that had all the ingredients and some how mixed it with another persons plate that has been there for a while. I over heard him talking about how I ruined his break. So I told him in Spanish with some very harsh language in you can imagine how deep I went when he doesn't realize I too am a Mexican. All of a sudden his attitude changed but it was too late he ruined my plate and when I tried to just get ice cream the freezer must of been turned off because all the ice cream was melting. So I'm left with a plate of swamp ice cream. They turned off the food warmers too because the food was cold and it's barely 8:55pm. We decided to try this place when we found out the one down the street from our house closes on Tuesdays. As we walked in the first thing I noticed is the throw away plates. It made it feel kind of cheap right off the bat. When we sat down we realized they also gave you plastic ware as well. Then , we had the food. I can honestly say out of all the places I have eaten Chinese food at this is the worst and I'm going to include the cafeteria at school. It was disgusting. Everything I ate had a weird twang to it and didn't taste normal. Almost everything was cold. The only hot thing I had was the corn on the cob. The service was alright. We've been coming here for years but have recently been trying other buffets around the area. After about half a year we've returned but kind of regret it. The service is good but when we came at the busiest time on sunday... the food was sub-par and it was very busy so some of the tables were moved around. ... let's just say we had a hard time getting to and from our table. The stars are for the servers I'd give them 5 stars cause they really take care of you. However, when it pertains to the food I'd give 1 star. The sushi looked good from a distance but tasting it was a whole different story. The sushi cooks need to learn how to make sushi rice because this was the driest rice Ive ever had. Moreover, it tasted like the sushi have been made a week ago. The rest of the food also tasted old and not freshly made. Now I'm not a big fan of Chinese buffet joints and seldom eat it but I'll admit this place is huge. The buffet bar has so many different variations of Chinese and American items. Sou chefs are centered and ready to prepare habachi style meals fresh. Very entertaining as well. People were double plated with crawfish like it was their last meal and the deserts filled one section of the mega bar with everything to entertain your sweet tooth. As we marveled over the many items on the mega bar it was just a bit too much to try and consume. So when the waiter stated 2 buffets and we asked for a menu he seemed confused and repeated, 2 buffets, than nodded......Nooo, menu please. Beef had too much salt or seasoning spice and the sesame chicken was missing sesame and tasted just and I mean just, Ok. I tried this place when they first opened years ago. I wasn't terribly impressed and only come back every few years to see if they've gotten any better. My first fear tonight was the warning taped to the greeter's podium warning about wasting food. My experience over the past nearly 40 years of married dining is that sign is a predictor of a Chinese buffet in distress. Initially tonight, the food was average. Some items were not at the temps they should have been. The fried rice looked oily in the pan. The batter on the fried fish was way too heavy. Some things tasted fine. The noodles were great. But at this point in the meal, I had been eating and drinking a few minutes and had a chance to look into my glass of Diet Pepsi. I saw something stuck to the plastic inside the glass. I lifted it out and it was a disgusting sticker of some sort. It was covered in what appeared to be bacteria. Some came off when I lifted it out with my finger. Nice looking buffet and good food! the oyster not the top but the price reasonable. I prefer healthy and fresh food collection they have here. This place get busier over the years, seem like they know what they doing. My review is base on the food that I eat most sushi, hibachi, seafood, and desert. Love how fresh the vegetable. This is my 'go to" place for oysters, Chinese food, Mongolian, over indulgence buffet. The food is great but they are very slow to get the oysters out, which are my favorite. My family and I use to come to this place every weekend today we came to eat since we have not been here in a long time. Now they charge you the kids buffet by how tall your kid is not by age. So if your kids a tall like my kids are your fu*ked because your paying like an adult. Then if you leave food because you didn't like it or it was cold you get charged 4.00 a plate. I guess since most Asian kids are short they don't worry about paying full price but for hard working people that are trying to save a little bit of money don't come here. The food was fine. The restaurant was clean. The service has me in tears. Let me start off by saying that I have never dined and ditched in my life. Normally, when you have a waiter making sure you are taking care of that is one thing, but to feel rushed to eat. Then, when I go to the bathroom, you ask my teenager questions until I come back from the restroom. Then, ask if I am ready to settle the bill and we are still eating dinner, which is a problem. If I had reacted badly, my son was watching. Now, I have always told my son to walk away, but this has made it really hard. What your staff did was disgusting and degrading. If this is how you treat your customers, no worries, I will never come back. If anyone ask me, I will tell them the same. All the years I have come there and never was treated that way before. This Chinese buffet is mediocre at best. Selection is very limited and when I asked for the Chinese hot mustard they brought me the little plastic pouches of mustard you get from the fast food joints, not the authentic hot mustard Chinese restaurants normally have. Won't be going back. read more
