Excellent Chinese food here. We had the general tso and chicken szechuan. Both dishes were very flavorful and the egg roles are large and good. We ordered the combination plates and the orders came with wonton soup. The soup was excellent as well.

Highly impressed from start to finish. U can see from the outside this used to be an Arbys with the drive thru window still there. Go in to a totally different experience. Friendly staff who talk to you even if you are getting a carryout order. Debated the price of eating out v cooking with the very nice owner/manager while I waited for the food. Since it was close to closing time they asked us if we wanted some extra egg foo yung n shrimp fried rice. We had so much food they had to put it in a box. So we ordered crab Rangoon, wonton soup, ham fried rice, general tso chicken, spicy beef n veggies. Came to almost $40 so a little more than other Chinese spots. This is the best chinese food I have ever had. Everything was hot n fresh. I dont even like fried rice or beef but I was trying everything. Two days later the leftovers are almost as good as day 1. I had not been to this place since it was at the downtown Toledo location. At that time the food was excellent, and I see that this has not changed. The food was very very good in comparison to other oriental restaurants in the Heatherdowns/Reynolds corner area. The outside was not so inviting but once you step indoors you may realize that a lot of the decor was from the previous location as well. Very clean, quiet, cool. I can't complain. Give this place a try if you have not done so already! Btw, closed on mondays!!

I went there ST Jan 8 it was very cold and they were heating it with space heaters. The food was not like it was down town.

The staff were all extremely friendly and conscientious of our needs. They made good recommendations and let us know they could accommodate for certain things on the menu such as the spice level. The restaurant is extremely dark inside, although the traditional decor is pretty cool and gives the place some character. Prices were fair, but the service was slow, and our server repeatedly forgot things we asked for throughout the meal. To make matters worse, their credit card machines were down during our visit. The biggest issue was the food. Most of it was extremely greasy. The green onion pancakes were basically grease sponges with almost no flavor. The fried rice wasn't really fried rice at all. It tasted like plain white rice with a few vegetables mixed in and lacked any of the flavor or texture you'd expect. The Szechuan chicken was also disappointing and wasn't something we'd order again. There were a couple of bright spots. The orange chicken was flavorful, and the scallops were cooked well and were probably the best dish we had. Overall, while the prices were reasonable and there were a few good dishes, the overly greasy food, inconsistent quality, forgetful service, and payment issues left us underwhelmed. I wanted to like this place, but based on our experience, I don't see us coming back. Two stars because there were a few positives, but they weren't enough to outweigh the negatives.

Tonight was our lucky night as we were seated within minutes of our arrival. QQ Kitchen is very unassuming upon entry. Small sitting area that was filled with people waiting for their take-out orders. The dining area is small and decor is simple. There is one TV monitor and tonight, "Triple D" (Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives) was on. How appropriate, huh? Menu has a lot to offer making it challenging to arrive at a snap decision. Many great choices. We started off with Spring Rolls. Very refreshing taste and the peanut dipping sauce was quite tasty. Our dinner selections: Drunken Noodles; and Pad Thai w Shrimp. Both these dishes were excellent and very fairly priced for the food quality and portion size. A great deal of foot traffic for take-out orders during the entire time we were in the restaurant. Good sign. We had a fantastic meal and we will definitely be back yo visit QQ Kitchen. Well done!

We've been here twice now. None of the dishes disappointed. We order off the authentic menu. They even have a "special" authentic menu that is seen only when you enter the restaurant. I think they are Cantonese. They don't skimp on portion sizes. Dishes are flavorful. Authentic menu is indeed AUTHENTIC. We asked 1 - low salt, 2 - low oil, 3 - no MSG and these preferences were honored. They even called back saying one of the dishes was a bit heavy in oil so that we could potentially order something else. They called us when the takeout order was ready. The Midwest needs more restaurants like these. If I lived closer I would come way more often. Best of all you get this for a very fair price point. It is not the inflationary/expensive price for low-quantity sub-par asian food you see now-adays. Come here if you are near the area. As a self-acclaimed special order person, I recognize that I may be annoying to a busy carryout business... but I've finally cracked the code here! The last two orders, I've kept it simple. Today for dinner, ordered for two people. By the way, they only take phone orders and no longer online. I ordered a large Won Ton Soup; a Vegetable Egg Foo Young with sauce on the side- and was told they always put it on the side (yay!). For myself, I ordered the steamed Chicken and Broccoli with a side of garlic sauce. Nothing too complicated. I was told the total cost would be $27.99 (from memory) - which is a great value these days and considering the generous portions of delicious food! (Sorry, getting ahead of myself!) The ambiance is very basic, as you would expect from a strictly carryout business. However, everything looked clean. Most importantly, their inspection score was 100/100 and that perfect score reassured me that everything in the kitchen was health compliant. The customer service is always consistently friendly. The order was ready on time and everything was nicely packaged in containers that ensured minimal leakage, if any. The orders both came with lots of rice and generous containers of sauces- more than we needed. My mom highly approved of her Vegetable Egg Foo Young and the sauce. She said it wasn't greasy, although fried. It came with 3 huge patties! The Won Ton Soup is always a winner in her book, although it went in the fridge for tomorrow. My Steamed Chicken with Broccoli was perfect. Chicken was burried underneath lots of fresh, green broccoli and the Garlic Sauce was the perfect balance of spicy and garlic; again, far more sauce than I needed. I would estimate that this meal portion will provide three or more meals. Check out the photos below. Highly recommend this spot for high quality and delicious Chinese carryout!

Well, both of these places are closed on Sunday, so we kept driving, and wow, yes, there really is a restaurant, just called "Asian Cuisine" in this strip mall. It's actually quite large; apparently it used to be the location of China Crown Buffet at some point. Anyhow, the ambiance is kind of flat. Lots of green vinyl booths. You can tell it used to be a buffet restaurant. But that is pretty much the only negative. When we came, there were several families and large parties, most of whom were Chinese. A good sign for a Chinese restaurant. The menu is pretty big, with lots of Thai and Chinese favorites. We ordered a steamed tofu dish, a seafood entrée, and a whole roast duck. Where can you get a whole roast duck these days without ordering a day ahead? Here apparently! And it is delicious, as was all of our food. Prices were quite reasonable (something like $22-24 for the duck, $9 for the steamed tofu with your choice of sauce, and about the same for the seafood stir fry dish). The hot-and-sour soup was immensely flavorful, smoky in a way, and only $1.99 for a small. Service was the friendliest I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. Friendly waitress, prompt drink refills. If this were SF or NYC, I'd say 4-stars, but for Toledo, this place is an absolute gem. This will be my go-to source for Chinese from now on. I can't wait to try the Thai, as if it is as good as the Chinese, it will save me the drive to Maumee (for Bangkok Kitchen).

I'm very surprised that this restaurant is not packed ever night, but I can only assume that word of mouth has not gotten out yet. So don't be alarmed if there are only a few tables of guests eating.

Really tasty. The egg rolls are on the pretty good side of things, but maybe a bit too much five spice??? The hot and sour soup is pretty good too. The dining room... OK, this place was probably remodeled when LBJ was president. It's really tired. When looking around, I'd say the finishes are just worn out. I'd say that, but when you park in the back parking lot and walk by the fenced in "outside janitor closet" and cart storage, I don't know what to think. I kind of expect Freddy Krueger to come popping out. The mop bucket and mop is filthy. Managment, do you really want your customers to see that stuff? For typical Cantonese stuff, the food is fine. Just park in front and get your order to go.
