I am surprised by the negative reviews, this is my favorite Chinese place! We generally get take out for dinner, or eat here for lunch. Over the years their buffet has gotten smaller. There was a fresh cooking station that disappeared and more tables of hot items to choose from. Occasionally there will be something different on it (a few years ago I found the best salt and pepper squid--never to be seen again) but generally it is the same thing, though I find it to be a good variety and one of the larger buffets in town, despite the down sizing. The deserts are pretty characteristic of Chinese buffets, which I don't personally find appealing, though they do have a soft serve ice cream machine (if it's working correctly, which isn't always the case). My favorites are the Moo Goo and Mongolian triple delight if ordering out. I find their food tastes great, and is always a high quality. The only problems I have ever had, when it comes to the buffet, is that we went later in the afternoon. Near 2 pm. They did not replenish the items as they disappeared. Another time we went on Valentines day and they were very slow at getting the food restocked, and the place was completely packed. Otherwise, they are VERY good about getting food out and keeping the buffet stocked. I have had the buffet at least 50 times over the last 5 years and do not find the negative comments on here to be typical--but we generally eat between 11:30 and 1pm/or 5 and 6pm...when it's busy. I can see why they might not be putting large amounts of food out when it is no longer lunch or dinner hour. read more

Pro: Good sized portions. Nice staff. Good food. Cons: Soup was cold. No music. Basically try not to arrive between services. Was there between lunch rush and dinner rush. Could hear everything in the place due to no background music. And cold egg drop soup is worrying. The wanton soup my friend got was warm but not the heat one would hope for. We arrived at 1:35 for a lunch buffet. Some of the trays were almost empty. We asked for more sushi and they replenished with four different kinds of sushi, then brought out three more fresh trays of various entrees. Service was excellent. read more

The service was good, the waitress was really nice as for any other positives it ends there. Me and my husband went to eat there and are new to the city so we don't know where places are, we got lost and called the restaurant and got directions. When we arrived we thought we should've gone to Taco Bell instead, we got their buffet and there was hardly anything on there, no good options. The food was blah after one plate we got our bill to leave, in my opinion they think very highly of their food cause for two people it cost $30.00!!! We've been to cheaper places buffet or not. Plus they seemed very unorganized we heard them calling people asking if they were staying at the Holiday Inn and had ordered from them, I even got a call from them when I was right in their restaurant eating their food! I love this place it has nice staff and they're there when your ready or done. The also give you the choice of sitting in a booth or a table. They have a buffet that is amazing and good food. Defiantly request that you eat here with your family. read more

Decent takeout. Nothing fancy but for the price the food was pretty good. Ordered a lunch special which came with an egg roll and wonton. It was a large portion so I had leftovers. The fried rice was just the way I liked it with the eggs. My food was very fresh and the veggies were perfect texture. The lady who took my order was on a personal phone call the whole time she completed my order but she got the order correct so who cares. The quality of the food for the price is not horrible. My nephew and I were there for 45 minutes and he only got one refill, I on the other hand had the house tea and the was very good! The tea is the only reason I am giving it two stars. read more

If you want classic American Chinese food this is the place. We order takeout from here whenever we want Chinese and it never disappoints and always is delicious in its own classic American way. The cream cheese crab wontons are amazing! Fast service and affordable. read more

Nice Chinese place, we got there almost 3pm, the staffs were pretty kind and suggested to order instead of doing the buffet as they were almost done. They recommended a couple dishes that were authentic Chinese but not appeared on the menu. They were great!! We also order Mongolian chicken, it was pretty decent too! read more

I had a very good experience with this restaurant. I ordered online and they delivered to our motel. They were earlier than time quoted and they packaged everything very well. And geez got a bowl of soup and it was a HUGE container. Lots of great food and you even get free items at benchmark $$, We got two egg rolls free at $30 order. Again I would highly recommend. Best Chinese-American Food in Billings. Service has been a little lacking lately, but still rates high in my book.

Waited for my food for 2 hours (quoted 45 minutes). Apparently, they mis-transcribed the credit card numbers and couldn't get the card to run, so delayed my order. They said they called "a bunch of times" (twice) while I was in the shower. Now, I'm an hour late for my Christmas party. Very disappointing. I recommend they read back the credit card number and run the card before the order call is ended. read more

The food is always hot, fresh, and excellent on the buffet. We also frequently buy take out to enjoy at our house but I can't say about ording off the menu while eating in. We have tried most of the Chinese restaurants in town but always end up back here. I did see the negative review below and was surprised, we eat there often and I've never seen the food be bad. The crab legs are so small, however, I just avoid them. Because the food is the same, otherwise, at lunch and it's cheaper (without the crab) that is when I recommend going. The only time we had a problem was on Valentines day for dinner a few years ago, the buffet was out almost the whole time. Otherwise the service has also been as fabulous as the food. They tend to refill drinks before they are anywhere near out, even. I love it, it's my favorite place for Chinese food. read more

I would have rated a 1/2 star if I could... Food was greasy and cold. Seafood smelled and the food seemed that no one had touched it for a while. To top it off, the owner seemed to like to brag about the golden days were they didn't have much competition. She even attempted to put down her competition in a mean spirited way. I didn't expect much as we were the only customers in there but the waitress was so rude from tossing our straws after several request to refusing to let us take our time to pay the bill, instead she took it right from our hand straight to the register... What was the point of all that?!?! The fried rice seemed cold, soup was cold and the only thing fresh was the orange chicken that was ordered. We used to like this restaurant, but it has really gone down hill. We had items off their lunch menu this week, and I don't think we have ever had a worse Chinese meal. The pork tasted freezer burned, the shrimp was under cooked, the chicken and sauce were tasteless, the rice was in hard lumps and the vegetables were limp. We will not be going back. read more

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. The Sweet and Sour Pork was inedible: greasy and 90% batter. The Cashew Chicken was better but there were no cashews. The Special House Wonton Soup, for $9.95, {besides the wontons} only had 2 small shrimp, 2 small RAW scallops, 2 small pieces of chicken, and frozen peas and carrots that made the whole thing taste like a Swanson's Pot Pie. read more

I ordered delivery on Friday night 9/16/2011 and everything was great. The food was delivered hot in the time frame they quoted and I thought the meal was excellent. Me and my family went here after dinner rush on a weeknight for my first time to this location. As soon as I walked in, I started having doubts. The staff was inattentive and seemed to be gossiping in their foreign language. We were taken to a table by a server who spoke almost no English then went to the buffet. As soon as I saw the buffet I was mortified. The plates looked like they had not been washed, but rather had been wiped off with a paper towel. Everything looked dirty. The food in the buffet looked like reheated frozen products and it was all clearly hours old. I did not know what to do as I have never been to such a terrible restaurant so I took a small amount of disgusting looking food and returned to the table. Without taking a bite I looked at my wife and said WE NEED TO GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! I have never walked out on a restaurant like that but as we left the staff was to busy talking in their foreign language to even notice we were leaving.
