Love this place! So convenient and easy to place a to go order over the phone. Call your order in and they will deliver to you asap! Pay in cash in person or with card over the phone. BIG portions and decent prices. No service or delivery fees which is a huge plus! Lovely people. They always give me lots of utensils napkins and condiments without me having to ask. It's always the same delivery man and he is so nice and very patient.

Don't recommend to all the foodies. Food is nasty. Fried rice is bland. I order lobster sauce with shrimp combo fried rice. And got stale rice with seafood soup instead. Egg foo young tasteless. House special soup is garbage with loaded meat light broth. Chicken breast look undercooked. Felt the texture and it was slimy. Toss that out just ate whatever look edible. Nor recommend to tourist. Stick with fried chicken on Cancel street or slice of pizza

Careful of the extra extra charges they secretly add on.

Originally, being from the NYC area I am accustomed to excellent Chinese food. This experience fell short compared to that. Comparing this to most Chinese food in other part of the country: 1 is poor and 5 is excellent Service 2 Taste 3 Portions 3 value 3 See my receipt for a heads up. I charged my meal and found they rounded up my charge to the nearest $ without asking and surprised me with a connivence charge.

Decent typical Chinese food with the new york influence. Not bad and not great. Ordered General Tso chicken and Orange chicken with pork fried rice with egg roll.

Legit spicy hot and sour soup. I was surprised! They accept credit cards, and you can place orders online. There's a lot of seating if you want to dine in. Their menu is your typical Americanized Chinese takeout joint, plus an assortment of chicken wing choices if you're in the mood for more "American" fast food.

Large open space for seating. Order the Szechuan chicken which had good flavor. Not too sweet and salty. Tasted hot and fresh. Lots of chicken in there and vegetables. Good portions. Also ordered a small pint of hot and sour soup. Had a good mix of ingredients. Good soup consistency. Good taste

Solid 3.5 stars! It's literally right across from our hotel the Ritz-Carlton, so I was craving for some hot & soup and just noods. Golden Wall was the view of our window. * Hot & sour soup, solid. * Chow Fun with chicken, good. * Chicken noodle soup, too much noods, so by the time you have, not enough soup left! * Mixed vegetables was good. Service was good by the cashier lady, she doesn't look Chinese, darker skin, very nice and polite, I like. The place is clean, look like the owner, she constantly cleaning the place, I appreciate. Some nasty Indian family was here, asking for so much stuff, ate, let without even clean their own table, nor pushed the chairs in, and didn't even tips! Damn, watching people like this just irk me! As my family had owned restaurants, bars, and such, it's hard to watch these ignorant and entitlement people! BTW, this joint is as good as it gets for a fast food joint, not sure why others complain so much! Cheap eat, generous portion, fast food, and they cook fresh! Worth your money for a quick bite or hangover!

Rather than pursuing a burger, I decided to try this well regarded Chinese restaurant across the street from my hotel. This review is based on one item I got for takeout: Szechuan Beef. I am never one to equate quantity with quality. I'm also not well-versed in authentic Chinese. I'm mostly familiar with American Chinese. I ordered Szechuan beef expecting a dry stir fry of beef strips tossed with dried Szechuan peppers. Instead I got a 1 quart container with a zesty, moderately spicy broth loaded with tender strips of melt-in-your-mouth beef. This was pure heaven, and was an explosion of tangy flavor. The quart could've easily served a family of 4. That would just require another side of rice. This was just outstanding! The restaurant was compact yet inviting and service was great. I placed my takeout order on site at the counter, but they have table service.

I've eaten here before and the food is decent, which makes this experience even more disappointing…read more I ordered a dish with shrimp and simply asked to substitute broccoli for the rice. When the bill arrived, I noticed I had been charged extra for the broccoli and also charged for shrimp--even though shrimp was already the protein included in the menu item I ordered. I politely questioned the charge, and the explanation I received didn't seem to match what was stated on the menu. I then asked to speak with a manager so the issue could be addressed. After quite a bit of discussion in the kitchen, the server returned, but instead of a manager coming out, I was given essentially the same explanation we had already discussed. I calmly explained why the charges didn't make sense and expressed that I was unhappy with how the situation was being handled. Unfortunately, there seemed to be little interest in resolving the concern or retaining my business. The food is fine, but my advice is to carefully review your bill before paying. Based on my experience, management does not appear particularly concerned when customers raise billing issues.

Back again in NOLA for more R&D, I chose to reside in the Garden District to also explore an area…read moresomewhat away from the general tourist population swarming the French Quarter. This week I wanted to visit spots successfully catering to locals and stumbled upon this tiny neighborhood hidden gem. Hidden because one would have easily missed it repeatedly when driving (or walking) past since the whole exterior was so unassuming at first glance. It only showed up on my radar when I meticulously searched for seafood spots on different platforms and randomly stumbled on their Facebook page. Best boiled crawfish and shrimp it said. Always fresh it exclaimed. Decently priced it stated. Well, this I had to go see it for myself and put to test. This was obviously a detour from my planned R&D in NOLA but was definitely a spot that must be designed for locals (and random tourists like me). This was confirmed immediately when I stepped in to see a long line of construction workers from the nearby site picking up lunch and some young kids digging into bags of shrimp and crawfish in utter delight. While looking at their sharpie streaked menu, I noticed quite a number of customers striking up conversations with the lady behind the plexiglass like long lost friends as they too picked up food to-go. Yeah, definitely a local friendly spot. Shrimp and crawfish by the pound was CHEAP in comparison to all the places in the area I've been. The best part? After getting back to the AirBnB, I realized just how good and fresh the seafood was! Succulent, very well seasoned, and not severely overcooked (like some spots around here prefer to serve it). I could taste the spices and aromatic vegetables used in the boil and found each bite absolutely tonguegasmic. Came for a pre-lunch snack and now back for a pre-dinner snack. Both the lady and gentleman had a smirk and muffled giggle as they saw me again. "You like it?" No, I love it. I'm here for a week and I'll be back every day you're open until I fly out of here. Take my money and give me thy awesome shrimp!

On our walk from hotel to Walmart, my husband and I stumbled across this little spot. A quick Yelp…read moreand Google check showed great reviews, and even though the photos looked pretty simple, we decided to give it a try. Sometimes that's just how travel works and you cross paths with unexpected gems. The owner and his family couldn't have been nicer. This place has been around for over 30 years, a mix of convenience store and local eatery. The owner, an older Asian gentleman, warmly asked me and my husband where we were from as soon as he saw us. We think maybe because there aren't many Asian in the neighborhood and it instantly felt welcoming and we started to chitchat. His son was helping in the kitchen that day, and the guy taking our order (super friendly, too!) turned out to be his son-in-law, just stopping by on his day off. This place is small but we could tell most of the steady stream of takeout customers were regulars. We ordered about $50 worth of food: * C2 Fried Chicken (10 pcs) - $11.99 * P6 Shrimp Po'boy (12") - $5.99 * P8 Catfish Po'boy (12") - $7.99 * R5 Cajun Gumbo - $8.99 * Two cans of drinks It felt special that on our very first day in New Orleans, we got to try two of the city's most iconic dishes: Gumbo and Po'boys right here in this humble neighborhood spot. The fried chicken was super crispy, the Po'boys were packed with filling, and the gumbo was flavorful without being overly salty. We couldn't finish it all, so the leftovers became our breakfast the next morning. The shop itself is nothing fancy, just two folding tables and a few chairs but the food and the warmth of the people made it one of those memorable stops that really stick with us. We actually came back on our last day in New Orleans and wanted to try the Yak-Ka-Mein Soup which was recommended by the owner but it was closed on Memorial Day:( I guess we will save it for our next visit. If you ever find yourself in the area, I'd highly recommend trying their food. T&T Seafood & Po-Boys 548 Jackson Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130
