We had time to kill and ventured to the outlet mall. Thankfully it was indoors just a skyway across the Hilton. My cousin wanted to get some fried chicken while in Nola. We saw this restaurant and decided to check out the menu. Prices are good and food is delicious. We even purchased some of their seasoning. Order at the counter and choose a seat, server will bring the food to you. Restaurant is small but cozy, we sat on the otherside of the bar, few tables and chairs were available.

We loved the food here. You order at the counter (or order ahead) and it's ready in a jiffy. I got shrimp tossed in Korean bbq and it was soooo good. My husband got wings with a lemon pepper sauce and he devoured them. We got a 32 oz Hurricane to share and it was ok- the food was a lot better than the drink. The seasoned fries were perfect, especially to soak up the extra sauce. Lots of autographed jerseys hung on the walls, and a cool mural, plus tvs to watch sports and a photo wall.

You'd be better off going to wingstop or buffalo wild wings because the portion sizes are terrible. You spend 15 bucks for something that looks like a kids meal.

One of them ones fr. Ran it back 2x, them wings be the truth after a night out. I got the "WUZZAM"-- buffalo/lemon pepper. Service was quick, food out a bit after order. the spot was empty when we went, it's a chill spot.

After traveling all day, I arrived to my hotel room tired and hungry. Solo travel with after 9 pm arrival makes for a very cautious experience. Instead of exploring my surroundings I opted for We Dat's Chicken and Shrimp via "Uber Eats". I ordered the 10 piece chicken wings (5 wuzzam, 5 sweet heat) 1 piece of catfish as an add-on and a fountain sprite. My order arrived in a timely fashion, however it may have been too timely I'm guessing since they forgot to include my Catfish. The wing platter looked phenomenal, the well bags were extra saucy (like I like) I was disappointed in the fact that they sent me all drums as that was not a "request." Honestly I prefer "flats" and they had an option for only "drums" or only "flats" for $1.00 more (very reasonable pricing) however I opted for mixed combo which I did not get. Honestly the wings were really good. I enjoyed the kick of the Wuzzam wings while the sweet richness of Sweet Heat did not go unnoticed. The fries were fries they were unseasoned and unsalted but I did request jalapeños to which they obliged. The sprite was flat and watered down which was a let down given the fact that I was extremely thirsty. The wings were good although my takeout/ delivery experience was not. To be fair I've given them 3 stars as I'm unsure how I would feel had I gone in to have a real dining experience. 2 stars were deducted for forgetting my catfish and for only drums

It was my last night in New Orleans, and I really didn't want any more red beans and rice or gumbo. Checked out yelp and ran across We Dat Chicken. The restaurant was only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Thankfully, there was no line. We went in and placed our order... even got a military discount. OMG...the wings were amazing! The lemon pepper wings were nice and crispy with a very pronounced lemon pepper flavor. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for great wings.

My boyfriend and I stumbled on this place on the way back to our hotel and decided to give it a shot. We tried the 10 wings with fries. We got the wazzum and garlic parmesan. The wings were juicy, saucy and bit spicy. Only downside was that it took a while to place our order and for customers to get their food. Overall, the wings were def memorable on our trip to NOLA.

The staff was nice and the place has a nice vibe. The sweet heat wings were pretty good but they just taste like regular buffalo wings to me. The lemon pepper wings had way too much lemon pepper seasoning I could barely taste the actual chicken. And the fries were decent.

Ask the Community - We Dat's Chicken and Shrimp

    Is the wuzzam sauce hot?

It depends on how much you can handle spicy foods. If you put hot sauce on your food, it's about the same as that.

    Is there parking?

    Street parking only.

Y'all. Y'ALL…read more Are you in NoLa for some reason? Any reason at all? Are you hungry??? Do you like cocktails, and a well-curated wine list, and an INSANE bourbon list? Do you like a plate of food that speaks classy without punching you in the wallet, and servers who don't hover, but can answer even the most random questions you could have about the stuff on your plate? Look no further, friend. Right off the bat, after arriving on a Friday around 4:45 PM we were seated promptly, given water and the tastiest little sweet yeast rolls ever (the tops actually crackled when you squish them you guys), and made our bevvie choices. Tonic with lime for me (I'm behaving rn) and an Old Fashioned for wifey. Killer. We skipped the appetizer course and ended up ordering off the specials menu for both meals. She got braised brisket with deviled egg potato salad (fantastic!) and I got grilled Amberjack with roasted Brussels, topped with pickled peppers, onion, capers, and a drizzle of olive oil and Crema. Did I mention this place has a rustic atmosphere, and cozy feel, AND a Michelin recco without a dress code required?!? We had Lemon Buttermilk Icebox pie for dessert... MY GODS. This pile of words I just typed doesn't do this place justice. Chef Link has got something special going here, and his butcher shop next door is totally groovy too. I can't rave enough about this place, and I wish it wasn't so dang far from Texas, but hey, it's just another in a list of damn fine reasons to come visit the fine folks of NoLa again.

I've never had crawfish and seeing it was crawfish season we were destined to be here. We built out our own seafood boil, which included, 1lb shrimp head off, 2 soft shell crab clusters, 1lb crawfish, corn, potato, and sausage. Let's just say we left with a pretty big leftovers box We ordered the hot house flavor and do not regret it one bit! Our server was so kind to show us how to peel and eat the crawfish and honestly it was so fun!! I will definitely be back next time in New Orleans!! One quick note I will say that I learned from a local that I wish I knew before this feast (And you should double check with staff if this info is correct). Most seafood boil places in the area when they have headless shrimp it is farmed and brought in from outside retailers where if you get head-on it's from local ships in the area/fresh caught. Apparently they've been struggling and if you want to support New Orleans local fisherman then go for the head-on shrimp. Again double check with staff if their head-on shrimp is local cuz I learned this information after visiting.

Took 30 min into the meal to receive the gumbo we ordered. Server would disappear for 20/30 min increments. As our meal we ordered snow crab slam - the shell was seasoned but meat was bland. Also tried the jumbo shrimp plate with fried rice, rice was very dry! Overall disappointing for 1st time in New Orleans. Ps. Restrooms were filthy!!!!
