They were able to accommodate my schedule and get the dishwasher fixed and reinstalled prior to my guests showing up. This family owned business were fantastic in helping us! Our wall oven microwave combo unit decided to short out causing a small electrical fire they were able to come out within 30 minutes of calling them ! They were able to disconnect the electrical plug ( hardwired) to prevent any further damage and figured out what was wrong ! Fantastic service! Called them from my house in Beverly Hills and they took care of my not heating dryer in Palm Desert without a hitch. Didn't have to drive there at all!! Made a service call without being paid upfront. Called 30 min before arriving at property. Polite and efficient. Called me again when they were at property and diagnosed my dryer. These guys were GREAT! On Christmas Day our old side by side (2002) was stuck at 74 degrees on both sides. I called a few companies knowing I wouldn't get a reply until the next day. I have a commercial oven that needed repair. Every phone call was returned efficiently, every appointment (there were three that needed to be done) was on time as promised. The technicians are professional, friendly and do their job as necessary. My job took the entire day, and the techs never even stopped to eat lunch because they wanted to finish the job the same day. As I write this review, a load of laundry is drying in my LG All-in-One, thanks to the folks at Gonzalez Appliances. When it leaked water a few weeks ago, the first time I had ever had any trouble with it in six years, I called Gonzalez Appliances. Within a few days, Erik and Luis came to look at it, and they quickly identified the problem. That same afternoon, someone from the office called to give me a quote for replacing the drain pump and drain hose, and they ordered the parts. I selected this appliance repair company based on the Yelp reviews. They came out and checked my washing machine as promised. Naturally didn't have the required parts and would have been over $300 to repair my washer and would be several days to order and receive the parts. Probably be a good week to get it fixed. My tenant needed it faster than that so I purchased a new one that was supposed to be delivered the following day. It wasn't. They called the next day, late, to see if they could deliver the following day. All this takes coordination with my tenant. I had two problems with Samsung ice maker: freezing over and fan noise. Called Gonzalez and was told repairman would be out on Thursday and they would call me that morning. I got a call on Wednesday. Repairman came out on Wednesday. Repairman spoke limited English. He serviced the ice maker and gave me a price. I wrote a check. He said shop would send receipt. I have not received any receipt. Fan noise gone; continues to freeze over. Can tell by looking ice maker not replaced correctly. Ice maker intermittently stops making ice--never did that before. read more

Have you got $85 you'd like to flush down the toilet? This is the place! When I was told the unit wasn't worth fixing and that they had one to sell me for a good price, service call applied..they knew I only had a week here..it took them a week to "locate" it in the warehouse..then you find out they deal in SECONDS..with dents, etc..I still go for it having waited a week..I call to ask a question about the unit..get an angry rude woman who won't help and cancels the order at the end of the day..and by the time I called first thing the next morning..the unit had supposedly been sold. From closing the night before..to first thing in the morning..miraculously sold. So I am out $85 but the good news is, my unit is working better..so I guess it wasn't that "Unfixable" to begin with. This company has the best customer service EVER! My fridge pooped out and I live 50 miles from there. They agreed to look at it so I borrowed a truck and brought it in, planning to come back in a few days after it was repaired. They called me less than an hour later and said they would complete the job within the next hour! Belen and Tio Luis helped us load it and we took it home without making a second trip. With my old washing machine on it's last leg, I purchased a steam washer/dryer set from a national big box store in July 2020, I was told due to delays caused by the COVID 19 virus, it was on back order for two weeks. Four months and several phone calls later, I was still waiting for my washer/dryer set. I cancelled the purchase and in November 2020 purchased a steam washer/dryer set from Gonzalez Appliances. They installed it three days later. No delays or back orders and the price was two hundred cheaper. I do not know if this business is legitimate . I posted last month about my experience on them diagnosing my stove then did not call back anymore until I called them back and gave me a ballpark quote on the phone and I ask for itemized quote . I did not hear from them again . I posted a review here on Yelp last month and they called me Asking for me to remove the review and gave me some excuse and that they would refund the diagnostic fee of $75. And I agreed getting satisfied to be refunded . I did not get the refund , I even called them again after a month for the refund , they said they will send it ASAP, it's been 3 weeks , still no refund . Don't be fooled like I was. read more
