    xiao long bao pork

Waited a bit even on a Monday but didn't mind. Service was quick and super well done. Braised beef noodle soup was definitely my favorite. Green beans with xo sauce are always a hit! Lemon scallops were a refreshing choice I wouldn't normally get. Pork xiao long bao was good. Definitely enjoyed this recent visit as my first visit was in 2025 and had the wagyu burger, dan dan noodles, and cucumbers but didn't stand out as much to me.

Hands down one of the best Chinese Restaurants I've tried. Service was good, they give you an iPad to place your order. Ambiance wise the place is pretty modern and clean. As for the food let's get into it: - Handmade Dumplings (8/10) Great start to the meal, had the perfect amount of spice/flavor. - Beef Roll (10/10) I've had good beef rolls before, but this was amazing. The beef was juicy, and the wrap they used held everything together very well. My favorite dish of the meal. - Beef Braised Noodle Soup (9/10) It was 90 degrees outside, and yet I would order this again. This is comfort food at its best, and the noodles had the perfect texture. Must order. - Chinese Wagyu Burger (7.5/10) This was also really good, I'd recommend getting at least once. Overall a great experience. I think price wise it's a bit more expensive than other places, but I would say it's def one of my favorites right now. Would I go again? Absolutely!

Absolutely impeccable and delectably delightful! As an Asian person who has eaten many, many beef rolls, I can confidently say the beef roll at Good Alley was the best I've ever had. The meat was incredibly juicy and tender, and they were so generous with the filling, these rolls were seriously STUFFED. Every bite was perfection. We also ordered the xiao long bao, one chicken and one pork with chicken and leek, and both were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The flavors were so delicate yet incredibly satisfying. We also tried the beef noodles, and the noodles were wonderfully soft, chewy, and had the perfect texture. Honestly, everything we ordered was packed with flavor and executed beautifully. It's easy to see why Good Alley made the Michelin Guide list. The food was exceptional from start to finish, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. Definitely a must-try if you love Chinese food!

So you thought about this place you've seen this place and we also saw this place so we had to try it and I can say that it is totally legit here are some things we noticed The meat pie was delicious because taste juicy perfect flavor and minced in a way that melt in your mouth . Xlb dumplings I think better than DTF. And cost slightly less too! The beef roll is perfect not too oily not too soggy and meat perfectly Finely chopped and the green onion ohhhhh. Always can put more though. And we ordered Togo!!! Now the bad . Long wait. Service is uh yeah it is what it is. And parking is a challenge and battle and spaces are classic Asian shopping center small. Lot of near miss accidents and yeah you all know what I mean. https://maps.app.goo.gl/BtggcQdbxt9cZwtb8

I love good quality Chinese/ Taiwanese food, and good alley delivered! My friends and I came on Friday night around 7PM and had to wait a bit but the wait was so worth it. We ordered: - Beef Noodle Soup - Pork Xiao Long Bao - Crab Xiao Long Bao - Spicy Shrimp Wontons - A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Beef & Scallion Noodles - Grilled Angus Beef Rib with Lime The star of the shows were the Xiao long baos, Grilled Angus Beef Rib with Lime, and beef noodle soup. The Miyazaki Wagyu was soo tender .. literally melts into your mouth. The xiao long Bao's were so flavorful and juicy. 10/10 experience despite the wait - I would totally come back since this is somewhat close to me :)

The crab xiao long bao was my group's favorite dish, comparable or even better than that of Din Tai Fung's. You can't go wrong with any of their other dumpling dishes either though. There's a wide variety of noodle dishes - our favorite was the Sichuan-style Zhajiang noodles. Great if you want something spicy but flavorful. The quality of the food is great here which matches with the price. Servers were attentive and they even have their own boba/tea service inside. Be prepared for a long wait but it's definitely worth it.

The food here is terrific. The beef roll is one if not the best one in the SGV, filled with tender beef and the wrap is crispy. The pork hamburger bun is good, the cumin spicy gives it good flavor. The scallops was good, very refreshing. Their pork noodles had good flavor and very tasty. They handmade steam dumplings good pork and cabbage filling. The inside decor is very nice and the staff is very friendly!

I've been here with my friends from work to celebrate birthdays. Yesterday, I took my husband here for an early dinner for his birthday. We live about 40 minutes away. We tried to come off hours at 3:00 PM and the restaurant was still full but we luckily got seated at the only open table. The interior is modern and clean. We ordered several dishes including stir fried pea shoots, pork and truffle dumplings, beef rolls, noodles and at the very end our server suggested the sweet pumpkin dumplings. I wasn't sure if we would like them but she mentioned they were her favorite and they definitely did not disappoint! My husband is now a fan.

I was pretty impressed with this Chinese restaurant in Rosemead. This restaurant offers similar menu items to Din Tai Fung and Mr Dragon Noodle House and I think they do several dishes better. To share, my friends and I had the following: - Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao): These were tasty and juicy and I liked how the soup wasn't scalding. I do wish the texture of the dumpling wrapper was better though. - A5 Wagyu Beef Chinese Burger: One of my favorite dishes tonight. I loved the crispy bun and the flavorful and tender meat inside. - Flaky Beef Wrap: Another one of my favorite dishes of the night. It was flaky and full of meat which I liked. Among some of the best beef rolls I've had thus far. - Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles (Kurobuta Pork): These were creamy and good. I like how these weren't too salty. - Dry Pot Cauliflower: Surprised at how good one this was. Textures and flavors were good. Only downside was the pork belly which was kind of hard, but the cauliflower was good on its own. For what we got, the prices were pretty good and reasonable. My friend and I did walk-in on a Sunday night and we waited for around 15 minutes to get seated. The interior was clean and the service was attentive. My water cup was never empty. There's also lots of free parking in front and a bathroom available. Overall, I had a great experience here and would definitely come back with visitors.

Ambiance is clean modern and comfy. The user experience of ordering food is extremely streamline with the ipad and very well done user interface. I haven't seen a menu this well designed with pictures for almost all their dishes. Noodles and Soup dumplings are amazing here. I would skip on the green string beans. they have a defrosted flavor that frozen vegetables have. I think a bit more seasoning and fresher string beans would make the dish better.

We were in the mood for noodles and dumplings so choosing this place made sense. They were pretty packed but the wait time goes quickly. Once you're seated they have a kiosk you can order from. Plenty of variety from noodles to dumplings, to entree dishes. They did have some vegan and vegetarian options as well. Service is fast and they had some really good iced teas. Their peach is the popular one. Parking: plenty on the plaza itself Prices: $7-$25 Dietary options: vegan and vegetarian available Atmosphere: groups and dates or solo Service: fast and friendly

Apparently Good Alley was recently added to the California Michelin Guide in 2026 (no Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient but just listed in the guide & now the restaurant appears when you search for it in the Michelin app). It is interesting that the sister restaurant, Jirong Roast Duck Restaurant, is not listed in the Michelin Guide. A few key notes: * It looks like the restaurant is getting more customers now as our party waited 15+ minutes even on a regular weekday evening. * No free samples were offered during our weekday dinner visit. * Now each table has a tablet and customers can place orders directly via the tablet. Please note that the tablet only allows customers to place orders and customers will still need to flag down a staff member to request the check. * Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings (aka XLB) continue to be an S-tier item to order here. In fact I think they are some of the best XLBs I have had in Los Angeles and Orange County. Perfect dough texture and on-point flavorful broth. * For Chinese Burger, stick with the A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Beef instead of the Kurobuta Pork as the beef provides a better texture & the pork tastes slightly greasy. * Stir-Fried Noodles with Angus Beef Brisket had a similar flavor profile to stir-fried chow fun but with a different type of noodle. An A-tier item. This continues to be a solid 4.5-star Chinese restaurant and it is still a better alternative to Din Tai Fung despite Good Alley is getting more customers.

There's a waitlist tablet and a kiosk for ordering drinks outside, along with a couple of chairs. Luckily, the area is somewhat shaded. The interior looks pretty nice, and the service is great. The staff are very attentive. Now, the food: 1. Sweet and Sour Kurobuta Pork Ribs: The flavor was perfect, but the meat was a bit tough. 2. Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings: No complaints 3. Beef Wrap: The wrap itself was too soft and kind of floury. It also didn't have any cucumbers, which I'm used to. 4. Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles: A little bland compared with others I've had. Overall, I feel like it's a bit expensive for what you get, especially since the portions are smaller than average. Parking is also terrible because it shares a plaza with Golden Delight and Shin-Sen-Gumi.

It's a solid place to eat if you're looking for pretty good food, and the price isn't too bad! Parking - Now this stings because this lot SUCKS. OR if we take the 8ppl table private room, then we need to spend $400minimally with credit card to be put on RSVP phone can when RSVP. For a party of 8ppl, the non-private room table would be too small for ordering a bunch of dishes. - Order how many Peking Duck orders? "Depends on people but there was a small group that ordered 2, and then a group of 12 that ordered just one." For Chinese banquet style, usually 1 duck order per 8-10ppl is fine. It's like 1 birthday cake for 1 party table. - Ordering lobster dish ($200+$20 noodles) requires ordering early. We were able to order one at 1140amish for our 5pmish Saturday night dinner. We feels it's good to order for 8ppl+. - 2hr dining time limit. Musts - Five-Color with Mung Bean Noodle Salad: Doesn't taste like how it should but guess they tried? - Duct platter is good. For a party of 8ppl, most ppl will be able to grab at least 1-2 which is enough since there's other dishes too. Dinner for 8ppl (over ordered, and ordered via more meat due to meat heavy eater orderer for our group). I would have ordered more veggies (next visit). 1 北京烤鴨 (荷葉餅,配料) $95.00 Roasted Peking Duck 1 加荷叶饼 Extra Pancakes $7.00 (no buns were offered here). 1 鸭汤 Duck Soup $19.98 - Comes with tofu and cabbage in it. It's light, and good to have so you don't need to order a different soup. It's okay though. 1 六福大拼盘 Six Fortune Platter $48.98 - Center jelly fish was the star. Most eaters on my table talked about it. I was pretty happy with gluten, and pate type meat slice. Everything else was okay. This might be good for a party of 10ppl instead. I don't see it as a mist for our party of 8ppl. 1 五彩大拉皮 Five-Color with Mung Bean Noodle Salad $18.98 - Mix yourself. I usually eat this dish with a lot of the spicy mustard (like horseradish/wasabi) in it. But it's nice they have it on the side for each person's spicy level? I dont think I've ever eaten it with vinegar oil? I loved this dish as a kid for Northern cuisine. Unfortunately, this dish isn't to par. But okay enough. This dish is usually a must order/staple appetizer from northern cuisine restaurants. 1 梅菜扣肉 Steamed Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetables $22.98 - Not for me. 1 牙签孜然羊肉 Cumin Lamb on Toothpicks $25.98 - Done well. My SO loved it. Typical Northern western Chinese protein and dish. A dish that's become a typical bar food dish around 626. 1 西汁核桃虾 Crispy Walnut Shrimp $18.98 - Remember this isn't a canto restaurant. So this style is not the same from cafes, or canto seafood restaurants. Really good deal for the amount they have us. 1 葱油鱼片 Fish Fillet with Scallion Oil $24.98 - Particular texture. I love fish, but for some reason, this texture really confuses me. Like eating raw skin crunching fish? I just have to get used to it? Or I'm just the anomaly in this one. 1 招牌黑椒龙虾 Signature Black Pepper Lobster 5.50 lb @$35.00/lb $192.50 -加伊面 Add Noodle $20.00 Lobster 5.50lbs. This one was pepper vs Canto oil style. They'll ask you when ordering your food. That was the smallest lobster they had. Next one would be a 6lb lobster instead. 1 木耳山药 Black Fungus with Chinese Yam $18.98 - My type of dish. Light and healthier. 1 热水 Hot Water $0.00 1 茉莉花茶 Jasmine Tea $9.98 (pot worth) 8 冰水 Ice Water $0.00 Items in interested in trying next time with a group whose okay with dishes I usually go for - - Garlic shredded eel $32.48 (OR Spicy Stir-fried Pork)  - Special Shredded Pancake (OR Kurobuta Pork Meat Pie $14ish, Chive Pancakes, Chive Turnovers). - more vegetable heavy dishes. Service was amazing. Multiple plate changes, and ice water refills.

There are a few Canto cafés around here, but this one is definitely one of our favorites. Dim sum is pretty easy to find, but authentic Cantonese cafés are much more of a rare find. The lower reviews are probably due to the service, but in my opinion, a truly authentic Cantonese restaurant should have questionable service because that's exactly what you get at the good places in Hong Kong. The philosophy in Hong Kong is basically "food over service." If they're being too nice, they're probably overcompensating for something haha. Getting either the hot or iced milk tea or lemon tea is a MUST. It's the traditional way to do it, and they even offer unlimited refills! Just be warned that you might not sleep that night because Hong Kong-style tea is no joke when it comes to caffeine. Pro tip: If you get the lemon tea, you have to crush the lemons into the tea to get the right flavor! My friends and I are regulars here. They're open late, and the ambiance is so fun, with tables decorated with mahjong tiles and neon lights that basically scream Asia. The food is top tier and, in my opinion, some of the best Cantonese food you'll find in the U.S. Our go-to orders are the tomato baked rice dishes, stir-fried vegetables, 3-cup dishes, and brisket curries. For something sweet, we always share the classic Cantonese French toast with peanut butter inside or one of the pineapple buns. Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for an authentic Canto café experience! :)

I came here a few nights ago when the hot pot spot I wanted to eat at was packed and I didn't want to wait. I decided to try HK Macau Bistro instead since I low key wanted to have baked pasta. Restaurant was packed but I was able to be seated right away. I ordered the following dishes: - Baked Fish Fillet with Cream Sauce / Pasta - 8/10. This was really good. The melted cheese on top made this dish so delicious! - Chicken (Half) - 7/10 - This was good but it just tasted like any the chicken at any other place. - Chinese greens - 7/10 - This was okay. Preferred stronger flavors as this tasted kind of bland. - Curry Beef Stew / Tendons - 9/10 - Very tender! I liked this a lot! Would definitely order again! Lemon Iced Tea was yummy! Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Love the H.K. Vibe.

OMG! If you're craving some REALLY good lobster and want to get your money's worth, Boston Lobster…read moreis definitely worth trying! I came here with a friend, just the two of us, and the portions were HUGE. We ordered a lobster that was around 3-4 pounds, and the lobster is priced per pound. I believe we had the Boston Lobster House Special, and we added the noodles for about $10 extra. Let me tell you and it did NOT disappoint. The lobster was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely mouthwatering. The noodles soaked up all that flavor from the lobster and seasoning, and everything together was just delicious. I kept wanting to eat even though I was already getting full! It is a little pricey, especially depending on the size of the lobster you choose, but they give you A LOT of food. There were only two of us, and we each had enough food left over to take home and have another full meal. Honestly, the amount we ordered could have easily fed four people. We also had the shrimp fried rice, which was delicious, and even the lemon iced tea was really good. I wanted to try more things, but there was absolutely no way, we already had so much food! This is definitely more of a family-style dining experience. In my opinion, this isn't your typical quick Chinese food spot or chain restaurant. The quality, freshness, portions, and overall experience put Boston Lobster on another level. I also loved the atmosphere. We sat near the live seafood tanks, so you can actually see the lobsters and other seafood in the tanks, which added to the experience. They also have their own private parking lot with two-hour parking, which is a huge plus. We didn't have reservations and were able to get seated, but I could definitely see this place getting crowded, so reservations may be helpful during busier times. For me, Boston Lobster is easily FIVE STARS. If you're in the Rosemead area looking for delicious Asian seafood and some seriously good lobster, I definitely recommend it. Just make sure you come HUNGRY!

They kept switching out our plates whenever they got filled with empty shells, so we always had a clean plate. The inside was also pretty nice, and you can see all the fish and lobsters in the tanks. Overall, it was a great experience! Definitely on the pricier side, but we had a good time and the food and service made it worth it. Food was everything we expected! We got: Steamed turbo fish 10/10 - it was really flavorful and the ginger and onions on top was an amazing touch. Clams w basil - was very good and fresh. We couldn't stop eating it 10/10 House special lobster - was fire!! It was very easy to take out the shell and it was so tasty. Would definitely recommend! 100/10 French beef - not the star of the show but still was really flavorful! 9/10 Sour soup - it was a good soup and tasted like all the other sour soup nothing too special :) 8/10 Ong choy - we needed some vegetable on the table and steamed ong choy w garlic was really good and refreshing. 10/10 Fried rice - matched w everything we were eating 9/10
