7-30-2022 This is definitely a hidden gem, if you are looking for a quick on the go breakfast…read moreplace, definitely come here and give it a try. I ordered the traditional breakfast burrito it was delicious and a large portion. It has potato, egg, pepper jack cheese and bacon for about $3.50. This is my first time at this location but I have frequented the other locations and love their concept the salads are fresh and fast and big and very reasonably priced. The wraps are also very good, my favorite is the chicken Caesar salad wrap. They had a seasonal salad with brussels sprouts and we are waiting for it to come back. The drink that has cucumber and mint is my favorite. We need to keep this place around it's a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

Its packed with potatoes, bacon, eggs, and cheese. The salsa is the perfect addition to the burrito. I'm always full after I finish and sometimes I get full when I have like a few bites left. I have tried all of the breakfast burritos though and they are all good in their own way. I'm pretty basic with my salads, I love a good Caesar with chicken, or a cobb with chicken. I have tried some other salads here as well and the thai and buffalo chicken ones are also a hit. My fav drink from here is the frozen strawberry lemonade, at one point, I was ordering it everyday. The arnold palmer also hits, I like how you can mix and match the lemonade flavors with the tea for the Arnold palmer too. The new seasonal spiced cranberry lemoande was super delicious and refreshing as well. I think I will drink it all season and give the frozen strawberry lemonade a rest. The wraps here are also good and I have tried the chicken soup once and enjoyed it. I have not had a bad experience here ever and I will continue to eat here all the time. Its super affordable and the portion sizes are great too. I usually always split my salad into two meals. The service here is always top notch and everybody is friendly. The place is always clean as well so I appreciate that.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long time, so I finally decided to celebrate my birthday…read morehere and I'm so glad I did! At first, I was a little hesitant because the menu is fairly small, but after my meal, I can see why. Every dish we ordered was absolutely a 10/10. I had the chicken with greens and shrimp fried rice, along with the fried green tomatoes and cornbread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I honestly don't have a single negative thing to say about either the food or the service. This was an amazing dining experience, and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this location because I absolutely love Radici, and everyone has been…read morerecommending Roots to me. Unfortunately, it just didn't live up to the expectations I had. I do want to start with the positives. Our waiter was fantastic. He was very attentive, explained the menu thoroughly, and provided excellent service. The food also came out incredibly fast and piping hot, which is becoming rare these days. We started with the cornbread, and it was easily a 10/10. It was worth every bit of the $12. We ordered the fried chicken, greens, shrimp fried rice, biscuits, and hot water cornbread. The fried chicken was crispy and tender, but it lacked seasoning. I'd give it a 7/10. They served it with a house hot sauce, but surprisingly it had no heat and almost no flavor. I even asked the person I was dining with if they tasted anything because it was like pouring sauce on the chicken without changing the flavor at all. The greens were just okay on their own, but once we added the vinegar they became amazing. That made me wonder why the vinegar isn't incorporated into the greens from the start. The hot water cornbread had virtually no flavor. The shrimp fried rice was cooked really well, but it had an unexpected Caribbean-style seasoning that threw me off. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting, and it made it hard to fully enjoy. The biscuits were probably the biggest disappointment. They were dry and hard. One thing I also noticed is that, for a family style restaurant where you're encouraged to order several dishes to share, the tables feel too small. Once all the food arrived, there wasn't much room left, and even packing up our leftovers was awkward because of the lack of space. One standout that deserves recognition was the iced tea. It had what tasted like a subtle hint of mint and was incredibly refreshing. Easy 10/10. From the cuts of chicken we received, it appears they break down and fry whole chickens, which is perfectly fine. However, at $56 for a fried chicken that lacked seasoning, I found the price hard to justify. Maybe the cooking method or oil contributes to the cost, but I expected much more flavor for that price. Overall, I'd rate my experience a 7.5/10. Would I come back? Yes. I'd be willing to give Roots another chance and try something different from the menu. But when I hear Southern food, I expect bold seasoning and comforting flavors, and that's the one area where this meal really fell short.

I absolutely love all the gluten-free options. I ordered the simple salmon, which was cooked to my preferred temperature and served with a generous portion of tasty sautéed vegetables. My partner enjoyed the chimichurri salmon, which also came with flavorful vegetables. They don't skimp here...the plates are large, and the portions are substantial without being excessive. We'll definitely be back!

I'd say my total time waiting to order was 5 minutes and my total time waiting for food was 10, even with how crowded it was. I ordered the White Chicken Parmesan. I've never had gluten free pasta before this and there was no strange taste or texture. The sauce was bright and very lemony. I will say the pasta was in oddly short pieces so don't expect to twirl your noodles on your fork! The chicken was well cooked and seasoned with a nice crust. The raw tomato addition didn't do too much for me but I didn't mind it overall. The soda fountain is an adorable tap that boasted drinks like cola, sparkling lemonade, cream soda, root beer and more. I'm not usually a fan of off brand cola but this one was great, if not a little watery for my taste. My pasta dish overall was $15.50, which was a great price for the amount I received. The plate was large and easily more than one portion. This is definitely one of the best "health food" places I've been to. Will definitely be back!
