I've been to a couple of other locations. Good burgers, fries and more. Tried the corn that was pretty good. This place gets very busy and there is a lot of seating. Good option for a quick meal in the downtown. Staff are excellent and very helpful if there's an issue. You Gott to try them if you haven't already.

Casual Spot with a Great Indoor-Outdoor Vibe! We had a beautiful day out in Walnut Creek today and decided to stop by Gott's Roadside for a casual bite. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The Vibe & Atmosphere The space is incredibly bright, open, and airy. Even though you're sitting indoors, the massive open structure makes it feel like you're sitting outside. It instantly gave me the breezy, expansive vibes of an outdoor concert pavilion or open-air amphitheater. It's the perfect casual setup with comfortable bench seating and a gorgeous, light-filled aesthetic. The Food & Drinks We didn't snap a photo of the food because we dove right in, but everything hit the spot: The Western Bacon Burger: Perfectly made, featuring a really nice, thick, crispy onion ring inside that stole the show. Garlic Fries: Flavorful, hot, and the perfect side. The Strawberry Lemonade & Rosé (image_5.png): I am not usually a big soda or sweet drink person outside of the house, but this strawberry lemonade was so good I willingly paid $3.50+ for a second one! Pro-Tip on the Drinks: They serve the drinks heavy on the ice. For me, that's a perfect catch-22 because it keeps it cold and dials down the total sugar intake. But if you're someone who wants every ounce of drink and doesn't mind the sugar, definitely ask for your ice on the side! Sweet Treats Note: The milkshakes looked incredibly thick and delicious (the peanut butter one caught my eye!). However, we passed on the cookies displayed at the counter. Visually, they looked like flattened-out dinosaur eggs--a bit dry on the outside (though they might be moist inside!). We decided to skip them based on appearance alone. Service & Cleanliness The ordering system here is great-you order at one window, they give you an old-school buzzer, and you pick up your food on the other side. Customer service at the counter was quick and efficient. I was also incredibly impressed by how diligent the staff was; they were constantly coming by to pick up trays and ensure absolutely no trash was left floating around. Even the bathrooms were clean, bright, and airy.

Googled to find restaurants near me where my wife and I was in Walnut Creek yesterday and came across this spot. Just by walking up to it, you knew the food was going ti be good because there were many ppl sitting outside and the line was out the door. They automatically have menus waiting for you by the door and the special of the day posts both with words and pics. This spot has everything: burgers, salads, wraps, chicken sandwiches and etc. They serve beer, wine and hard alcohol. They even have a frose. However, just know the process area a bit steep and you do not get any sides with anything. Everything is sold separately. This spot is hugh btw. Plenty of seating My wife and I both ordered the California burger. I took off the balsamic onions and added lettuce and tomatoes. We shared regular fries. I also ordered a special of the day which was street corn. My wife ordered a cobb salad and froze. I had a water with lemons. They gave us a buzzer item to alert when our food came. We opted to sit outside in the sun. Once out food was ready... my wife went inside to pickup, my wife had to return the fries because they were cold. Everything wise came hot and so good. The burger was so big and juicy lol. Everything we had was fresh. My wife was surprised with her salad presentation, the size and the lemon vinegeratte that it is served with. She bust it down. We were both very happy with our food choice for lunch...as you can read..lol.

Still amazing. If you are looking for a great ambiance and an easy place to take the family, this is it. It is a bit pricey, but the food is well worth it!

The restaurant is huge! There are a few outdoor tables on the side of the restaurant and a massive space indoors. When it's crowded, it can get noisy. Service was good. No complaints - fast and efficient. The menu was okay. It was a challenge to find something for someone with dietary restrictions though.

I didn't know quite what to expect from Gott's Roadside, but I certainly did not expect them to be so allergen friendly. I was able to order my hot dog with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun, as well as veggies with hummus and remove the bell pepper. The fries were extremely tasty and about a step up in my opinion, from In and Out, and the smoothie was quite tasty. I also loved how well everything was packaged. Overall I'd say it's not the highest quality out there (I'd like to see them move to a better of a hot dog vendor), but I really liked the ability to accommodate and customize for allergies, so I'll absolutely be coming back.

I've been to a few of Gott's Roadside location. Sentimental fav is the original Taylor's Refresher in St Helena. My most visited is the Napa one. Tried Larkspur and this was my first visit to the Walnut Creek one. The food was delicious and ready in an appropriate time. The counter was friendly and helpful while the other staff members kept the tables and grounds clean. It ought it was a bit loud but maybe I'm just getting more ornery LOL! Good experience.

I did a pick up order for sweet potato fries and it was kind of a long wait just for fries. It was busy inside of Gott's Roadside. On the other side of the restaurant there's a place you can pick up your order near the condiments and bar area. I would eat their sweet potato fries again.

Unfortunately, I have no photos to show for our meal. That's because I never got my salad and the waffle fries took 30 minutes and were not as described. The mangers were very nice and accommodating given the poor service. They normally have the best chicken kale Caesar salad. Today may have just been an off day. I will return- maybe not on a weekend until the season is over

We chose this spot over others in the area for our 31st anniversary dinner because it had easy seating with no long wait -- and it turned out to be a great choice! I had the veggie burger while my husband and daughter enjoyed the chicken burger and fish tacos with garlic and cheese fries. Everything was fresh and flavorful, especially the garlic fries and margarita refresher. Service was friendly even during a busy dinner rush, and the cozy wooden tables with soft music made the ambiance feel warm and relaxing. Only downside was the cheese fries were a bit soggy. Loved that they also offer small ice cream scoops for dessert. Definitely coming back to try more vegetarian options!

Got takeout from Gott's on a Friday night and was really satisfied with it! The crispy chicken sandwich really hit the spot. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The quality of the ingredients really stands out you can taste the difference. Service was quick and friendly, even during a Friday rush, and the space was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating inside and out. Parking can get a bit tricky depending on the time of day, but it's worth it. Gott's continues to deliver that elevated roadside experience delicious food, thoughtful service, and a fun, California-casual vibe. Definitely a solid go-to in downtown Walnut Creek!

I've been to a few locations now, but this one was really good. The food was yummy. I got the Gruyère and Onion burger with sweet potato fries and fried Brussels sprouts. The sides are so good and the burger was perfect! We got our food after 15 minutes even with busy restaurant. The inside was spacious and bathrooms clean. Parking is difficult.

Came here for a quick bite to eat after work! Gott's Roadside delivers California comfort food done right. The ahi burger was the standout -- seared rare, fresh, and not overpowered by the bun. Fish tacos were light and well-balanced, nothing greasy or heavy about them. The Brussels sprouts were a nice surprise (crispy, slightly charred, addictive), and the garlic fries were generously seasoned, but some soggy bottoms. Finished with the soft serve swirl, classic and satisfying. Lines can be long at peak times but the food moves fast and is worth the wait. Great spot for a casual, quality bite.

The moment I touched the iPad to join the waitlist, a waitress asked how many people in our party to which my BFF and I responded, "two" and we were whisked away and seated promptly! Fantastic! During our meal, several waiters checked in on us and made sure we had ordered or if we wanted anything else! Detailed and friendly service. The second time I visited we got on the waitlist half an hour before arriving and were seated within 15 minutes of arriving. The only thing is since there is a long waitlist on Sundays, long conversations aren't very possible without various staff frequently intervening to ask if you want boxes to go... even if you're still chewing. I do understand it's to keep groups cycling through so that everyone can enjoy a meal here. F O O D My friend wanted to try various appetizers so she ordered the Korean fried chicken, crispy brussel sprouts, and earl grey croffle. I ordered the sweet maple omelette. The Korean fried chicken was great, with its wonderful crunch and flavorful hint of spice. The brussel sprouts were indeed delicately crispy as described and tasty; I couldn't stop eating them! I also thoroughly enjoyed their namesake omelette; it was a big portion too. What stole the show was the earl grey croffle!! A light crunchy yet soft croissant waffle with burrata(!!) blueberries marinated in Earl grey(!!) & basil extra virgin olive oil and their housemade blueberry marmalade was such a strange combination to imagine but a beautiful taste experience. I would have never considered adding burrata cheese with basil evoo and earl grey blueberries to a croffle but I am grateful to the skilled chef who did at this restaurant! I can't wait to come back just for this very delicious appetizer/dessert. D R I N K S My BFF ordered a coffee and I ordered the hot coconut cream latte. The coconut cream latte was dreamy and sweet. I have also tried the iced Ube latte on another visit and it was good but not as good as the coconut cream latte. It needed a touch of something else to balance the sweetness of the Ube, not sure what really. I am intrigued by the floral tonic espresso so I'll try that on my next visit! A M B I A N C E The decor and open dining area with its glass windows make the area feel airy and inviting. It's a very aesthetic vibe inside. There is chatter and laughter but nothing excessive, except the second time when we were seated by a table with unruly children, though that is no fault of the establishment, just the parents. This for sure a great place for a brunch with the girlies or a date post farmers market. Just make sure to get on the waitlist via Yelp to plan your visit ahead of time! This place is always busy, as it should be!! P A R K I N G Parking was slightly difficult to find since the farmers market was also going on at this time when we visited on a Sunday late morning but we were able to find paid street parking within 5 minutes. I would recommend planning for some extra time to find parking if you're coming on a Sunday (due to the farmers market). The second time I went on a Sunday around 11 am it took me 10 minutes to find parking and I got lucky since it was someone leaving the farmers market. Also please note that the farmers market closes the streets that Google Maps will try to take you through to get here.

I'm so glad we ended up across the street. It's an open area restaurant with a very large wraparound bar and rooftop deck seating overlooking downtown. Despite it being windy and chilly, we didn't get cold at all. I regret not taking photos of the restaurant itself as the ambience was so unique. We ordered 3 appetizers and no mains. Fried calamari, heirloom tomatoes with burrata and roasted brussel sprouts. Calamari: batter was a bit darker than most I've had, but consistency and crispness the same. Don't know if they used extra paprika for the color. The calamari was tender and a good contrast to the batter. The real star was their tartar sauce which was so yummy we asked for more. Tomato salad: this dish was just about perfect. What you can't see well in the photo is the burrata sitting on a bed of pesto. The pesto is arugula-based, making it much milder and not so basil-forward, which we appreciated. Brussels sprouts: It's not the best we've had but I would still order it again, if nothing more than to get those insane bacon chunks that came with the vegetables. I had the spicy maracuya and hubby had the Irish goodbye as drinks. Both wonderfully done, but I especially liked the Irish goodbye which was their take on a manhattan - instead of bourbon they used whiskey, and threw in some green chartreuse along with the vermouth. We'll have to try to recreate this at home. Service was friendly, but the server didn't check up on us. They looked understaffed. All in all, we would be sure to go back, and drag some friends with us.
