Americano

The nicest staff. I miss the UWS location which closed several years ago so it was nice to visit the Tribeca location. The baked goods are incredible and the coffee drinks are great. They are one of the only cafes/bakeries in NYC that carries Dammann Freres teas.

Hmm (thinking....) which breads should we get to go with the chili we're making for lunch?

Friendly counter staff at neighborhood bakery with coffee. Recommend multi-grain and any sourdough breads, plus cheese-less pizza (think flatbread with various toppings). But all their breads are great--including walnut raisin and olive loaf. Local fire houses (ghost busters and Greenwich Village) stop for their bread (or sandwiches) here.

The dolce pastries are so freaking good The bread pudding literally melts in your mouth didn't have a chance to take a photo I also had the pumpkin pie and the lumaca 10/10 bakery

Iced chai latte

Food (4/5): Ordered a chai tea latte which was solid. A bit pricey and not too big but still good. Service (5/5): The person taking my order was nice and friendly. The order came out fast and efficiently. Ambiance (3/5): Cozy and cute coffee shop vibe. It's a bit small inside but there is decent outside seating. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable but still ok overall.

WOW! This place is not only super cute but the smell when you walk in is wonderful. Fresh bread smell! We got the regular focaccia bread and another type. Both were out of this world. The staff were very friendly, upbeat and helpful. I recommend this place!

Grandaisy Bakery makes some of the finest Italian bread in the city. Always fresh and tasty. The bakers are highly skilled and the ingredients are quality.

Chocolate muffin--fabulous

Picked up some breakfast today--super happy experience! - quick service, even when it got busy - very pleasant atmosphere and seating - everything looked super delicious with decent prices for Manhattan I got a breakfast sandwich with egg, onion and asparagus. Delicious, and better yet, on a lovely crunchy roll I got the chocolate muffin, which blew me away. So wonderfully chocolatey; moist; crunchy top; not too big.

Average bakery, decent coffee, go if you have no other option and need a quick carb and coffee fix

Hmm.. I am confused by the reviews. Yes location is great. Love the quiet spot in the hubbub city noise. But there was fruit flies early morning at 7 AM and didn't see fruits inside. Anyways we ordered: Double shot espresso- not too creamy, not good Caramel latte- even with non fat milk too sweet Chocolate croissant- it was so cold, so definitely not fresh. How can it be cold and hard 7AM in the morning. So not worth it. Can't be warmed also!!!! The staff was so rude early morning. He didn't even look at us all through the time, talking with his back at us. Anyways.

Cheese "filled" danish. Was barely a spread in this large poofy Danish.

Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. [Full Stop]…read more I've had a lot of GF pizza. I've tried to come here in the past -- but it didn't work out. I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. It was so good -- the crust so chewy with bite -- but light and airy and tight -- the cheese and toppings all great and fresh and delicious. It tasted like an awesome piece of NYC pizza. I was so happy. I did some Claude sleuthing -- and think I'm onto their magic with the crust -- and am excitedly going to experiment in my home kitchen in the coming weeks (Neapolitan oven, be damned!).

As traditional Neapolitan-style pizza is known for its soft, thin dough, puffy, charred crust, the Don Antonio version is well executed. You must try the Pere & Noci salad along with your pizza, it peas, exquisite‼ Giorgia Caporuscio, an acclaimed and world champion pizzaiola who has earned international recognition for her authentic Neapolitan pizza, is behind the beloved Don Antonio restaurant. Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). Lastly, the entire pizza menu is now available gluten-free. With vast offerings, they are ambitious, and every dish is outstanding.

Returned to one of my favorite pizza eateries and had to share the exact same meal that made me…read morefeel that way. We started with two fabulous drinks: An Espresso Martini and their signature Limoncello Margarita. We shared the Shaved Brussel Sprout Salad and it was fabulous. The bits of bacon, combined with the spiciness of the pepper spices, made this a perfect starter. The entree was also shared and it was the Spicoli 2.0 Pizza. I cannot recommend this pie, enough. You will taste flavors that you've probably never experienced before with a pizza. Also, the different textures of the arugula, creaminess of the cheese, and the perfect crust will make it a memorable selection. For dessert, we shared the Buttermilk Panna Cotta. Each spoonful of those strawberries, dancing with the firm custard and glaze, made this a stupendous cap to the meal.

Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The bar is a great bonus--well-stocked and a great place to hang while you wait for a table. The staff really stood out to me--super friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. And the pizza? Absolutely amazing. The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!

Big shout out to best waiter Rob and his GM Dreni!!!…read more I came here in my birthday, July 2nd. We had trouble navigating and were late, and they still seated us and were so kind. First of all, Rob is so much fun, an excellent waiter, and very willing to go the extra mile for you. When Rob spoke to Dreni, he was kind enough to make a special accommodation for my and his serious diet restriction (since it's difficult to split a meal with him.) we appreciated this so much, especially in a busy restaurant. Not only were these men awesome, but they food was amazing!!!! And the ambience is beautiful and fun. The calamari in the seafood was slightly overcooked but it was plentiful with clams, mussels, and shrimp as well. Overall, the restaurant was busy at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and we were glad to be able to grab seats at the bar. I would go again if I were seeing a show in the neighborhood but not for the food itself.
