They have a pretty decent wine selection and many by the glass wines to choose from. The outdoor seating is fabulous, but inside seating also has a very nice cozy feel. We started with the Calamari and Crab Stuffed Shrimp as our appetizers, and both were great! The loaf of fresh bread was perfect compliment for sopping up all the wonderful scampi sauce from the shrimp. I really really really love their Penne Ala Vodka Sauce!!!!! Penne, prosciutto, asparagus, parmesan cheese, basil, pink vodka sauce. Cooked perfectly, sauce is dreamy!!!! Hubby had the Seared Ahi Tuna, its is Sesame crusted Ahi seared rare, soy ginger, wasabi aioli, asparagus, and leek mashed potatoes. Great wine selection and well prepared delicious dishes. Portions are on the huge side, but everything was well seasoned and well made. This is the old GrapeStreet location with new owners and a name change... And I must say its better with the food and wine than the DTS GrapeStreet location! Enjoyed it! read more

My boss took me out to eat for my Birthday. She brought along her 11 month old twins. We order appetizers, wine, our meal. The babies were happy, talking, NOT crying or fussing. The manger came over and told us she had received a complaint. about the babies. We told her we just order dessert. Dessert was brought in a to go box. When we spoke to the manager it went from one person to several people and even someone on the other side of the wall complained. It was said several times that a custom would not order until the babies left. We were THROWN OUT OF THE GRAPE VINE on Lake Mead Please boycott. read more

I just moved down the street. Decided to try all the restaurants nearby. This was the 3rd one I tried. Ordered linguine clams white sauce. My friend ordered herb chicken. Both dishes are too greasy. Just full of oil and everything looks polished with oil. My dish was a bit salty but okay I guess. Not great. Cost is on the high end also. Oyster bar makes better food and costs less but they are closed at the moment. I probably won't return. I won't recommend this place as the food and service is forgettable. read more

A true gem - The Grape Vine Cafe- delicious dining in a superb venue. Enjoyed two delicious, excellently prepared meals; chicken parm and salmon as well as a bowl of really good Cream of mushroom soup. Chef Jose, waiter Rudy and Chief Glass Cleaner Michelle were all very gracious and knew the menu and prep in and out. Nicely sized portions without being too much. Best chicken parm I have ever had. went for a relaxing birthday dinner. Made reservations for 6:45 but got off early so called to come in half hr earlier and it wasn't a problem. We walk in and the bar was full and the restaurant itself was about 40%. We order the Tapas as an appetizer (sorry forgot to take pic). The meatballs and artichoke fried in a pastry puff was amazeballs. Everything else was just ok. E ordered the bone in steak special (around $45). There was some sort of sauce on it. For the amount paid it was pretty fatty. I ordered the blackened chix alfredo. Had entirely too much garlic for me. I only ate about 1/4 of it. The restaurant is pretty dark. Felt bad taking pics bc my flash lit up the room lol. And beware the chairs are super heavy. No really, OMG heavy. Service was great. Our waiter was awesome and checked on us frequently but not so much as to be annoying. I think the owner (cldve been mgr) was walking around and asked how our meal was. Overall I'll go back one day and will try something different but unfortunately it won't be the first place on my list. read more

I only wish that I could eat here on a weekly basis! To begin with the atmosphere is very inviting. It's completely comfortable so if I'm wearing shorts and a T shirt or dressed up more for date night out on the town, I'm never left feeling either "over dressed- or under dressed". The staff ( the owner and her husband- the wait staff- everyone...) makes the visit feel like you're part of the family. The food is why I really keep going back to GVC....the steak is always perfect- the risotto is amazing! The burger, the Italian sub sandwich....the appetizers ( especially the goat cheese!) all are consistently top notch! Fondue? Somehow GVC just makes it better than anyone else! ...and the wine selection is fantastic ( and I eat in some of the best restaurants on the strip..) remember...this restaurant is a neighborhood restaurant and the price is exactly what you would expect for all the things I've mentioned- very nice room-great friendly service- amazing food and wine! A gem! I live so close, but didn't find out about Grape Vine until recently. It's a nice cozy restaurant, with a nice interior. I'll have to come back and look at their wine selection. We came with a groups of 10 people, and the staff was very accommodating with our request for separate checks. This would be a great place to take a date! Everyone in our group seemed to really enjoy their food, so I think that's a good sign. I had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo, which was excellent. I typically don't really like blackened food, but for some reason it sounded good that evening. I'm glad I made that decision. I'm sure I'll be back with a date, next time...haha. read more

We had Saturday evening dinner here and were very satisfied. Love the atmosphere, even outdoors on the nicely heated patio. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. They have a delightful wine list! We ordered the Crab Stuffed Shrimp and it was just OK. No crab to speak of that either of us could see or taste. Short ribs and Seafood Pasta dishes for entrees, I would have liked a bit more spice/heat in the Diavolo sauce. Since we are currently very focused on good outdoor dining spaces, I highly recommend this as an option. read more

I love this place, I've been here a few times with my girlfriend and no matter what, we always come back! Best seafood pasta in town for that price and we always leave with leftovers. Beautiful restaurant and we've even seen live music while we were there. Will be going again tonight. read more

I have eaten here before, but this time around my hubby tried it for this first time. Let's start off with the initial service. We were sat right away, which was nice, but the waiter did not even approach for a good 5-8 minutes after we sat down. Then took another 5 minutes to get us water. The little appetizer plates were dirty, so we did not use those at all. After about 10 more minutes the waiter came back and took our order, then returned about 7 minutes later with bread and butter. 18-20 minutes later our food came. The reason it took so long is because the dish my hubby got takes 18-22 min to cook (which is stated on the menu). What he ordered was the herb chicken. It is perfectly seasoned and cooked. His dish came with garlic green beans and mash potatoes, which were phenomenal!! As for myself I ordered the chicken marsala. Mine came with 3 large chunks of crispy potatoes and carrots. Again, phenomenal!! The chicken was perfectly cooked. It was not rubbery, or dry. During the course of the meal our waiter never approached to see how the food was or refill my water. I ended up drinking a little bit of his as I finished mine. Overall the food quality is amazing, but the service itself does not meet expectations. read more

We've been trying to eat here for a while now but they don't open until 4:00 on Sundays. Great place lots of tasty dishes to choose from! Th calamari was tender & the marinara was very good and a bit spicy! I had the Chicken Marsala & the house salad was which I enjoyed very much. The Marsala sauce is also kinda spicy , not the norm but very tasty my guy had a delicious Italian dish too! read more

I remember visiting this place when it was called "Grape Street," but that since moved to Downtown Summerlin. It looks exactly the same, so I'm unsure whether or not it's the same owner. I love the atmosphere! It's as if you're dining in a rustic wine cellar. It really adds to the experience. But this isn't an HGTV show, so let's get to the food. Grape Vine's calamari is some of the better calamari I've had; tender, but not chewy, with just the right amount of breading and seasoning. Their mushroom risotto is HEAVENLY! It comes as a side dish with the lamb chops, but honestly, next time I'm asking if I can have an entree-sized portion, it's THAT good! The lamb chops are good too, but nothing amazing. You get six (three pairs of two) which seems above average compared to most places offering this dish at a similar price. If you're not eating gluten, they have a few meat options that include potatoes and vegetables. They also have a gluten free pizza crust! (But I have yet to try this) One of Grape Vine's unfortunate weak spots is their pasta. I've never seemed to enjoy it; it's always too sticky or too gummy--almost overcooked, but I can't tell if it's done intentionally or not. The price is a little on the higher side, but the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. Get some calamari, some risotto, and try a few dishes for yourself! read more

Tried to book a reservation for a party of 20 requested to have five separate bills all other restaurants that I asked said sure no problem but I was told the owner at this place wouldn't accommodate my request which is crazy that y'all would allow yourself to miss out on the money you guys would've made plus a big tip for the hassle. I would like to reply to the business owners reply. First of all she said it took 30 minutes, it took over an hour, and even the waitress and the owner which I thought was a man came up and apologized for the delay as to the dessert I assumed that the dessert was going to be a birthday dessert. Had I known that it wasn't going to be and I would be charged for it I wouldn't of ordered it and then I would get nothing for my birthday. Furthermore a gentleman came up to apologize to us and I was told he was the owner. I did complain about the fish and all the said was that they cost the fish with the skin read more

The place is clean, I guess. We ate outside. Our complaint is that the lunch prices are ridiculously expensive. For $24 I got a small piece of salmon, 4 walnuts, 4 pieces of a beet, and a plate full of arugula. That's why the restaurant was empty. read more

I asked her about this as online what they provided to Restaurant Week as their menu it did show an up-charge for the Filet and the Duck but not the Sole. Abbie immediately started to argue with me stating it may be an old posting which I said no it's current and I don't have an issue with the up-charge if there is one now, it's just not showing online so I was just asking, it's really not a big deal to me. She stated she would look at the website and talk to the owner but she definitely had a negative attitude toward us for asking and it continued for a bit. We started with the French Onion Soup and the Warm Crusted Pistachio Goat cheese with Onion Jam & Honey. The onion soup was good, it was not your traditional onion soup with a beef broth that is served in most places. This soup has a light chicken tasting broth but was really good. It is definitely the region of France this comes from and I liked it. The Warm Crusted Pistachio Goat cheese with Onion Jam & Honey, comes with bread. I took a piece and put the cheese on the bread and scooped down to the onion jam & honey. I immediately picked up the smell of cinnamon which I am allergic to, so when Abbie came around again, my friend was eating it and I asked Abbie if there was cinnamon in it. She immediately got defensive and looked at my friend and in a very rude and condescending tone said "you don't like it"??? I replied yes she likes it, but I'm allergic to cinnamon and I need to know if it had cinnamon in it. She walked off in a huff and shortly came back and said yes, it had cinnamon, nutmeg and 22 other spices in it and it's a Moroccan style. I said ok thank you, I will not try this as I'm allergic. Abbie then dropped her attitude and asked if there were any other allergies which we said no. Other people started coming in including a table with people who were people she knew and after that her personality completely changed and she became friendlier. Our entrees were really good. The sole my friend said was good and my Flank Steak was cooked ok. It was not exactly as requested but close and tasted really good. The desserts were both rich with real chocolate French style and were enjoyed. In closing, the food was ok, I don't think the prices on the regular menu are that bad but honestly, there are better places in town and friendlier staff so I won't be back. If Abbie did not argue with me over their obvious discrepancy and did not get an attitude over a question about an allergy, maybe I would give this place another try. As of now, I don't plan on coming back to this one.

The server took the SAME glass I had already been drinking from -- a glass I had literally spit back into -- and poured it into a communal pitcher that they use to make red sangria for other customers. I'm not exaggerating. My used wine, with my saliva in it, went straight into something they serve to other people. That's not just gross -- that's a health risk. Saliva can carry viruses like COVID and infections like herpes, and the fact that something like that could end up being served to multiple tables is honestly terrifying. There is no scenario where that should ever be considered okay in a restaurant. It made my stomach turn thinking about how many people could unknowingly be drinking from something contaminated like that. It also makes you wonder what other basic hygiene standards are being ignored behind the scenes. I've eaten at a lot of places and I've never, ever seen something this careless and unsanitary. Completely unacceptable. I will not be coming back.
