Terrific little cafe, lots of folks typing away, a brick interior hoop and vibe that's spirited yet chill simultaneously. I got their lemon lavender iced almond milk matcha , and man was that fire. Super cold faint lavender scented citrusy dreamy matcha that's the perfect balance of grassy and earthy--yummy. Loved it. Because it was a special, it comes in only one size, which was fine by me because though I drank half that day, I also chugged it the next day by adding more ice. Super flavorful. I asked the young woman working behind the counter which dairy free milk she recommended for optimal blending with matcha. She was adorable and basically said she didn't know! But it was the transparent t way she said it, where I felt the friendly warm open receptive spirit. The prices are decent and it's not overly loud, not deafening with screeching or banging music. Super chill and beautiful inside.

Walking around downtown Los Gatos, I stumbled upon Great Bear Coffee and decided to check them out. It is a nice, clean, spacious cafe. They have inside and outdoor seating. The customer service is so outgoing and friendly! I ordered their Famous Triple C drink! What is that? *Chocolate Coffee Cream: A perfect blend of Coffee, Ghirardelli Chocolate Vanilla Ice cream, topped with real whipped cream (like a milkshake) (4/5). Wow, this was thick, creamy, decadent, Chocolate-y heaven. I am so.glad I found this place. Support your local business.

A cute coffee shop right in the middle of downtown Los Gatos. They have a lot of seasonal drinks which is so fun- every time I go I order a different one to stay festive. Good atmosphere and working environment. They have a lot of seating so there are plenty of people sitting on their laptops or just hanging out. It's only a coffee shop, not a bakery, so they don't have a huge variety of baked goods. Still, one of my favorite coffee shops in the area!

Tried the Chocolate Coffee Cream or as they like to call it CCC, and it was delicious. It is more like a milkshake than a coffee drink, so if you drink it like that, it's wonderful. The staff was nice and friendly. Ambiance is nice as well.

Friendly service. I was in Los Gatos today and made a pit stop and discovered they sell Icing on the Cake banana cake slices (and if you know, this is the best bakery in the town!). Since the bakery wasn't open on Sunday, I felt it was meant to be so I grabbed a slice to go. I had an iced latte and they made it good, not too sweet.

Somehow, I didn't know this place existed. Was pleasantly surprised - this place is huge inside. They have all your standard coffee drinks and a HUGE selection of Monin syrups (including sugar free options). Friendly staff although they messed up our order, but it wasn't a huge deal. Will be back to try more.

I tried a good variety of the menu, Shrimp & Grits, Pulled Pork Benedict, Chicken & Waffles, Banana Nutella Churro Waffle, and Cornbread and Coffee cake. I've had grits a few times in the past and have never really liked them before, that was until these! The Shrimp & Grits was actually a highlight! The shrimp were cooked perfectly and there was a good portion of them. Really flavorful dish. Other favorite was the Pulled Pork Benedict and Chicken & Waffles. Great portions and flavor on each. The Banana Nutella Churro Waffle was a little decadent and sweet for me, but I would've loved that dish when I was younger, and probably could've eaten the whole thing too. Service was friendly and food didn't take long to come out. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for inside this time, but would definitely pick outside on a nice day!

If you're hoping to sit inside, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. The service was wonderful from start to finish. My friend and I both ordered the smash burger and I've got to say it was easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned so well. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. And whatever you do, DO NOT skip the bread pudding. It was a 1000/10! Not overly sweet, perfectly balanced, and the texture was incredible. If you're on the fence about dessert, just order it, you won't regret it. The only minor downside was that the sodas were very flat and tasted a bit syrupy. Other than that, everything was fantastic. The prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and the overall experience was excellent for such a cute spot in downtown Los Gatos. Will definitely be returning soon!

There is mostly only street parking, though nearby there are some parking lots and a underground parking garage just a short walk away. The ambience inside is nice with mood lighting, lots of dark wood, elegant decor, & house music. They have a covered patio area for outdoor dining, in addition to a couple of other tables. The inside has booth seating and standard table seating. A nice bar area with engaging and friendly bartenders. Two separate women's restrooms and one multi-user men's restroom. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding! The hostess was helpful and welcoming who promptly brought us to our table and recommended some of her favorites. Our server was Therese who took excellent care of us. She was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Also, the manager came around to check up on us, to make sure we didn't have last calls right before the kitchen closed. That was considerate. We decided on ordering the... Grilled Pork Chop: bourbon marinated grilled peach compote, peach, red onion & tomato salad (4/5). The presentation was gorgeous. A Sous vide pork chop with grill marks cooked to a medium temperature. Savory and complemented with the tangy, spicy, and tart salad. A tad heavy handed on the salt for the sauce, otherwise, it was still delicious. Gnocchi Ragu: lamb bolognese, pecorino (4/5). The meat sauce was delicious. The gnocchi itself was sizeable and decent. Fries (4/5) - medium shoe string cut fries that were hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. So fresh and right out of the deep fryer. Parkside Bread Pudding: vanilla gelato, pecan praline (4/5). This was delicious. Therese was told by the kitchen staff that they unfortunately ran out of the pecan praline when she brought it out. Though, it was still decadent and divine. Therese even brought us a complimentary beignets for a birthday celebration. We will be back! Ordered: 1) Garlic Bread: 5/5 - Tasted super fresh and garlicky without too much cheese, exactly the way I like it. 2) Walnut Pesto Linguine: 2/5 - It sounded super interesting, so I ordered it. First of all, the dish didn't look appealing at all. I get that it's called walnut pesto, but there were way too many walnuts. As for the pasta itself, it tasted very bland, not flavorful at all. My friend and I ordered the same dish and we both felt the same way, couldn't get past 2 spoonfuls. 3) Pasta Primavera (white wine cream sauced swapped for pink sauced - red and white combined): 5/5 - ordered this for my 5 year old, and omg it was amazing and full of flavor. 4) Burrata Pizza: 5/5 - A very interesting combination of toppings. I don't drink alcohol at all, so I am not sure how mock gin should taste like. 7) Tiramisu: 4/5 - above average compared to most places. Not soggy or dry - it was good. 8) Brownie Sundae: 3/5 - I had a lot of expectations for this one, but it turned out to be meh, the brownie chunks should have been warm; instead they were pretty hard in texture. They should have warmed it before serving it with the gelato. The taste was good though. Definitely coming back, but I would stick to ordering pizza or the pasta primavera next time. The pizza, bread, etc. were super fresh, and you could feel that in every bite. The ambiance is awesome, you could come here for special occasions with friends and family.
