Very hit or miss. Really depends what you order and if you catch them on a good day. The chicken wraps are decent, steak is pretty solid though make sure to get it medium as medium rare tends to be chewy. I like the fries those a bit greasy. read more

We (hubby & I) have been coming here for years now and I always say I'm going to yelp this place and don't. Well, we just had it again tonight and I just have to leave a review. We are never disappointed when getting food from here. It is fresh, cooked to order, generous portions, affordable and DELICIOUS! (We usually order the sliced steak sandwich or the chicken wrap (spinach) with extra yogurt sauce, which is amazing) I know there are some bad reviews on here and I see some of their points.. and I'm sure they could even be justified (as far as staff and/or cranky manager goes) and I will admit, I know exactly who they are referring to, because I thought the same thing, at one point, as well. But I overlooked it (everybody has a bad day.. maybe he just has more.. It also seems as though he just gets frustrated with the staff at times.. High standards?) Not making excuses for poor service, but it isn't bad enough to stop going here. The food is really that good. Again, we have been coming here for years and we actually get a smile and some pleasantries from him now :) I've told many people about this place and will continue to do so. One downfall: They're not open 7 days a week. :( read more

I always get the same thing, Cajun chicken wrap, this thing has some sort of magic in there. I cant tell you what and how it tastes, but I love it. The steak burger is also a solid heavy lunch. I felt slept often after eating there. It did take some time to make the food but it's worth it. If you are not patient then call in first and then go there 15 mins later so it will be ready when you get there. read more

GTO Chicken tenders are under rated. Quick, convenient, and reliable, every thing on the menu is good when you don't feel like cooking.

The wraps and fries here are delicious. I love the steak wrap with onions, peppers and cheese. The Greek salad is also really great. Pick up for dinner is always around 45 minutes so be prepared to wait. The reason for my 3 stars isn't the food it's for the girls that have been working the counter the last few times I have been in. They seem completely disinterested and out of the loop! read more

First time...first impressions...it was really good. We were looking to get a quick bite to eat before we headed home. We were in Massapequa on broadway and were thinking either sushi or pizza but decided to go to GTO finally after driving past it a bunch of times and saying "we have to go there". So I ordered the steak, chicken wrap with onions, peppers and jack cheese. Wrap was massive, full of stuff...no room for anything else. My wife got the chicken gyro which was also excellent. It came with fries, fries were great. A little expensive, but definitely worth it. Will return! read more

Have had the food a couple of times and is not my cup of tea. Every time I have eaten here I have found to be too greasy. Just something I don't care for. Hope they can make the food less greasy and I would probably order from again. read more

I come here for lunch every time I am in the area. I usually get the 2 Breast meal which comes with sides and nice salad for $13. You can't beat this place for the price and definitely not for the quality you receive. The food is amazing if you like good grilled food. Probably one of the best grilled chicken Caesar salads I've ever had. Huge portions and the chicken is so juicy and tender and flavorful. Other than that I've tried a few other items and wasn't too thrilled. Romanian steak has been burnt and dry 2 times we tried it. We asked for not well done 3rd time and it was still burnt and dry. One of the most underrated places on Long Island. My typical order is the steak and chicken platter which comes with your choice of two sides and pita bread(huge and delicious). When I feel like going big I get the steak sandwich which comes on a toasted garlic roll with mozzarella and a side of french fries, one of the best things you'll ever eat. Expect a little bit of a wait for your food but everything is always fresh and delicious! And don't forget a side of their amazing tzatziki sauce with whatever you chose to order! read more

Amazing food and they know it. Unfortunately while the cashiers are extremely nice... they often fail to have timely attention to any of the orders. It seems like the responsibility maybe falls to the kitchen lack of communication, but there is nothing worse than cold food after waiting for 40 minutes after being told 20. I see a few other reviewers saying similar things so I wanted to chime in. Really sucks. We sat and waited from 5:25 to 6:10 and it came out cold except one of the orders of fries. We were surprised at how good this place is! We ordered salmon with rice, grilled veggies, cucumber and tomato salad, and three-bean salad. (And chicken fingers and fries for the child). Everything was so flavorful and well-seasoned.I'm a bit of a foodie and I'm gluten free and the food met and went above my expectations. Takes forever for average food. Don't try to eat there because it's hotter than shaking hands with the devil himself. I lost a layer of skin on the sticky tables. Ketchup is several years old. Ive been eating here for probably about 15 years now no joke. i can eat here everyday. the food is all fresh and cooked to order. not like other food places where everything is pre made and then just heated up. and because everything fresh and the way they prepare what you want its so much healthier to eat here then anywhere else. i would suggest ordering a Garlic Twist, a #9 Wrap, The Steak Sandwich, and you have to get an order of French Fries or Sweet Potato Wedges Oh My God its so good...... all this talk about GTO i have to call them up right now and put in an order :) read more

AMAZING!!! Been going to this place for a few years now. Order is ALWAYS correct when I pick it up. Kitchen is open, so you can see them cooking, which is always reassuring. They just redid the place so the inside looks nice. Now for the food: Everything I've gotten here is fantastic. The burgers are delicious. They're not fancy and over thought. Just great. They sort of have a picnic-ey, backyard barbecue quality to them but WAY better than any you've had. The open steak sandwich is a gem. It's on a garlic bun and they don't chintz on the meat. The fries seem to be fresh cut, but I'm not sure; however, they are soooo good. Although, I ask them to cook the fries lighter than normal, as I have found the normal cooking time leaves them a bit too crispy for my taste. The mozzarella sticks are the best I've ever had, and they give you salsa as the dip which is rad. The garlic and dill roasted potatoes are addictive. I've also had the grilled chicken and romanian steak combo, and it is seasoned perfectly. The lamb gyro is dynamite. Also, everything is always fresh. The produce they add to sandwiches is always crisp and adequate for the sandwich you are having. I also love their chicken fingers. HA! I can't say enough great things about this place. read more

I'm giving it one star because of service. The salmon wrap was absolutely delicious! But I'll NEVER come back and spend my money here. The guy/cook behind the counter (white guy with glasses) was sooooo nasty. My coworkers and I just wanted to place orders and he was short and nasty. Huffing and puffing. My family has been ordering from GTO for years and we've never had a problem. The food has always been delicious and I especially enjoy their pasta salad with grilled chicken and the cajun chicken sandwich with mozzarella on a twist roll. My 14 year old sister can down a ginormous steak from GTO without a problem -- I don't eat steak but I imagine that means it's pretty damn good. As a bonus, they always give you lots of extra pita bread with salsa...yum! read more

Delicious fresh grilled chicken cutlets made on a real grill. Simple but delicious food. The meat is always tender. I get their # 1 special on Pita Bread. Healthier, nothing fried, wraps and on pita's. You can watch the guys grilling the food. Also skirt steaks or shrimp wrap. Greek salad. The guy behind the counter is a miserable person and clearly shows it. When i ordered my lunch he talked over me. When my order was done i barely understood what he said so i payed and sat down. At this point i was frustrated, he gave me the wrong order. I could have ordered a wrap but got a salad instead. I decided to eat it anyway. Another guy came in and as im eating my lunch the guy behind the counter yells out "hey Lady! didnt You order a wrap?!!" I looked at him and said, i could have?!.. Don't believe the bad reviews on this place. Food is very good and for $8 they give you a TON of meat in the wraps and sandwiches. $5 for a large fries and they give you enough for 3-4 people easy. Everything I've had is delicious . Only down sides are they are slow (they usually say 15 minutes and I get there and am waiting at least 5) and It would be great if they delivered, too. A message to the people complaining that the people behind the counter are rude....get a life. No one has ever been rude to me. I don't blame someone for not having a giant shit eating grin on their face when they're sweating back there and having to deal with cranky customers like you guys. read more

This is a no-nonsense chicken and sides place, mainly for takeout but they have some seating. They really make very good wings, unlike the typical buffalo wings everyone has. GTO's are more glazed and sweeter but a nice hearty size. They have very good BBQ chickens and sides, too. Unfortunately, I've tried to get stuff on Sundays but they weren't open the times I tried.
