This was by far the worst asian buffet I've had the misfortune to stumble into. One pan of orange fried chicken bits has cold food on the top of it. Apparently, not only was it left over but they had missed warming that up and the steam table isn't meant to reheat whole pans of food. Finally found the rice cooker bucket and it had a 2" thick lump of white pasty stuff that you had to hack a clump out, which I believe was left over from lunch. It didn't even break up with a fork afterIsatdown with it. Yuck. Mongolian beef didn't taste like Mongolian beef but the limp and mysterious batter fried meat strips were "interesting". They didn't appear to be meat or taste like meat at all. To add insult to the the experience, when I pointed out the issues up to the attention of the restaurant management on the cold food I was told that I was "wrong". Try ANY OTHER Chinese buffet than this one. They were at least accommodating of my request to pay for a partially eaten plate of miserable Mongolian beef since I refuse to leave without paying, and honored my request to pay for the entre' instead of the buffet. Take intial small seevings and taste your food if you eat here as you may want to walk out and go somewhere else and it could save your appetite for the alternate choice venue. read more

Even though this restaurant has been here for years, yesterday was the first time I stopped in for lunch with a friend. The decor is dated but very clean, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Our server was great about refilling drinks, taking away plates, and extra napkins. I didn't try everything, and wasn't crazy about everything , but some items were very good, like the fried rice, rice noodles, green beans, and tilapia. Good selection of fresh fruit and desserts. Lunch was $12.99 and there is a 10% senior discount. Bathroom was very clean too. All in all, a good place to add to the lunch rotation. read more

I like that they have disposable gloves at buffet table for those not wanting to share germs when handling serving spoons. The manager of this restaurant only cares about money (obviously). I had stop for lunch and even though I was standing right there in front of him, he ignored me because it was only me. (For one person). This is one of the disadvantages of going out ti eat alone. Unfortunately, some businesses like this one only care about money; bigger groups of people mean more money. It was embarrassing to see that other people noticed that he was ignoring me and left me waiting at the front door, so I left. From my view, the food looked great though. Worst place to eat with family! They watch you like a hawk and see what you are eating and how much you eat. Honestly, the food is very bland. No taste or flavor to anything. Your children can not make a noise otherwise they threaten to call the police. We had 4 young children with us and the manager named Anna yelled at our children for getting out of their seat and when I told her they were children and to let them be, they were not being disruptive to anyone she said it was private property and she would call the cops on us. I told her to go ahead and call... they will laugh in your face for calling for children being out of their seat, she shut down quick!!! This is an awesome buffet with a large selection. I've been there twice this month, once for lunch and once for dinner. I would definitely recommend going for lunch because the food tasted fresher, the sushi was actually cold, and the service was better. When I went out to dinner with my fiancé, the waitress told us it was mandatory to tip 20 percent. I had tipped 15. I have been a server so I do make sure I tip every time, but this lady only brought us one round of water and picked up our plates. I didn't think it was worth almost 10 bucks for a tip. I was very impressed with this all you can eat buffet. It is very clean, there is someone continuously watching and cleaning the bar and the floors. The greeter and waitress (Kimmie) gave us great customer service and Kinmie made sure our table was clean and continuously cleared. The food is a actually very tasty and there is a good variety of it. The cashiers customer service was less than plesant. She did not greet us and appeared to be unhappy and had an curt attitude. My cousin celebrated her birthday here tonight. The place is clean and nicely decorated. The menu seemed to be exceptional with so much to choose from. I did not eat on the buffet because I am on a diet and happily my stomach has strunk. LOL. What I did not like is this; The staff wasnt friendly. The women hovered over the tables like vultures and they wanted to know EARLY if we had more guests coming because they wanted to pass out our tickets/bills. I just wasted my money here. I'm very easy-going and this is my first time writing bad reviews for a restaurant, I don't want to because I work in a restaurant too. We were eating and someone came up right behind us. I was asking nicely to a Chinese woman if they are practicing social distancing, and she said that's totally fine? And there are many empty tables around us? Is it so hard to move that person to another table? ( he just came in and we were sitting with a lot of food on the table). Texas now has the most cases in the US and they just really didn't care? Ok because they have the masks on, I hope somebody would treat your children like that! This Restaurant does not openly advertise the use of MSG on all their food, for many years Buffets used to use MSG spice, however for many years most stopped using it. I discovered only because I asked the question after I got a plate of food and a drink. So I did have to pay the full price for a meal I didn't get to enjoy because I am allergic to MSG. This is a alright Chinese buffet. My partner and I only go there because he only eats Chinese food if it is a buffet and this one is the only one we have found without horrible reviews. The staff is usually friendly and fast. The food they have is usually warm. It is a bit bland with some of their dishes, but yet we keep going back. I was checking out the Collin Creek Mall before it closed for good and after I was done, I was in the mood for Chinese food. I performed a search on Google to locate nearby buffets, since I live about 30 mins away and I'm not too familiar with the area. I found that this restaurant received good reviews and decided to make the 2 min trip from the mall to this location. I entered the restaurant and was greeted with a smile and immediately shown to my table. A friendly waitress came by to take my drink order and then I was off to the buffet. I was surprised at how fresh the food looked and how clean the restaurant was. Out of all the Chinese buffets I've tried since I've lived in the DFW area, this is my new favorite! The food was hot and delicious and the service was great! Even though I live half an hour away, I'll most likely make the trip when I'm in the mood for a great Chinese meal. My family and I came here to eat lunch and the food was OK, however the service was disappointing. Our server watched us like a hawk and gave us the bill before we were finished eating. After I gave her my signature on the bill, she confronted me and asked why I did not tip. I had to explain to her that I was going to leave the tip in cash once my family and I were done eating. After that interaction, she sat across from my family and I on her break and watched us until we left. We had a great time at the great wall. Me and my fiancé walked in and were amazed by the service and food. We asked what they recommended. The recommendation was perfect. Cause I liked beef and my fiancé liked chicken and with the noodles made a perfect dinner. I've already told people about my experience. You couldn't ask for a better setting. NOT SERVICE DOG FRIENDLY! I've had a small service dog for 5 months now, and most days I can't walk without falling unless I have her on me (I wear a front-facing backpack that she rides in to give me a center of gravity). My husband and I go out to eat multiple times a week and we've never had any issues. Today, however, the manager hassled me three times, and on the final time, I I asked to talk to the owner, because she said he was the one who didn't want be to be there because other people might complain. If you're one of the reviewers whining about your favorite dish not being available, or not A+, then you probably shouldn't be going to buffets. Go someplace they have a menu and pay for what you want...and get out of the way of us true buffet lovers! ;) After reading some of the negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with my first experience at the Great Wall. In fact, the negative stuff was the reason why it took me so long to try it. Only after a personal, positive review did I venture in the door for lunch. Inside, I found a comfortable and clean dining area with nice appointments (and two fireplaces) for a buffet-type restaurant. Two long islands, one hot and one cold are offered, and the traffic made sure that the items were hot and fresh. As some reviewers mentioned, there are a LOT of fruit offerings,if you're into that, as well as salad, and a couple of sushi-roll selections. There is no Mongolian-style grill, as featured at some Chinese buffets, but I don't really care about that. Overall, I'd say the selection was average. A few more items would have been nice, but I didn't feel deprived. One reviewer mentioned wet plates, which is something that really annoys me, too. My dad and I have been going to this buffet for about a year now and we love this place. The buffet is nice, hot and clean. They have a great selection of sushi and seafood which include fresh shrimp. The staff is very friendly and is always waiting to refill your drink and get you more napkins. This is your typical $10 super buffet, but what set's it apart for me is the clenliness. I haven't been during the height of weekday lunch or on a weekend, but at 11am and 1pm everything was clean.
