I used Green Earth Pest Control last year, 2021, for ants coming into our home from outside. I was satisfied with the service and it took an entire year for the ants to come back. We Hired them again this summer and was informed that they had changed their service to include two visits, more money and they said, mandatory for the service to work. I agreed, and also paid more to have the garage in the back treated as well. This time the ants cam back during the time between the two service dates, and a month and half after the second service. I contacted the company only to be told that there was no guarantee and I would have to pay a fee again to have them come out and treat the area we had already just paid for. I was surprised that a lot less than three months after the second service we were overwhelmed with ants again, and even more surprised that I was told that basically it was my problem. Either pay again or live with the ants. I replied that it was not in my budget at this time. here is their reply", We only offer follow up rates on our interior services, but we do not offer any warranties for any ant services as there are many conditions beyond our control that can be the reason an infestation continues to persist. Since we did do a recent round of treatments, the best we can offer would be a 1x exterior service for both structures which would be at a fee of $250, or if you only want service to the main home than the fee would be $195." I think a limited warranty of 3 months would be reasonable for the company and for their customers. That said, next time I will read all the fine print when I hire a company, and for now we are battling ants on our own read more

Well, quick resolution deserves a quick revision and update. While I stand by my initial post, I must applaud Green Earth's management in their follow up response to my post. Within a few few hours of this post I received a couple messages from one of the owners assuring me they would be work with me to make things right. When I finally connected with them a few days later, they asked what I felt would be necessary to make things right - and let me know they'd hate to damage the relationship. My stance was the same on this call as the one prior, since the rain neutralized the potent 'kill' spray immediately after they came, they should come and respray the problem area, no more, no less. With little hesitation they agreed and scheduled an appointment. Today, was the service and as discussed, I was expecting them to simply respray a limited area and be on their way. I was surprised to receive a full and complete treatment of the home, garage, basement, both bait and spray and comprehensive explanation at the end of what was serviced, how it was serviced and what was different about this type of poison and bate that before. It was far more than I expected since it was essentially a complete service when I was only expecting a small portion of my patio to be treated. Now was this done with the hopes I would update my review? probably. Does it matter? not really. The point is, when the management learned of the issue, they not only followed up instantly, but went above and beyond to make it right - and as bothered as i was with their initial consumer service, I am equally as impressed with the management resolution. read more

I did wintergreeen oil, ant chalk, voodoo, every cat-safe type of ant control known to amateurs. Abated them for about as long as it takes you to read this paragraph. We can't remove every single ant attractor from inside the house (cats gotta eat, y'know), so I was in a quandary. Last year, I contracted Green Earth to give it a go, because I was impressed with their website explanations and general attitude. Worked like a charm. Flash forward to the new summer: It's in the upper '80s in Inglewood, and the ants are testing my patience again, so I called Green Earth for a refresher. Same great tech as last year. This review is long overdue. I searched everywhere for a green pest control since I have health issues and a small pet. I had our yard treated for spiders, ants, earwigs and other insects. After the 1st visit I could see a huge improvement! The rain this year really created a lot more issues with bugs in general than in the past and they were starting to invade our home. Finally, we're bug free inside, but the outside is making major improvements each time they do our monthly service. I like knowing that our technician, Will, knows our property now and exactly where to treat each month. He's very friendly and efficient. He has spot treated the inside with a powder that's injected into the tiny cracks of baseboards and now I don't have to worry about stepping on or finding gross bugs inside! I'm a pretty picky person so if they exceed my needs I'm sure any home owner, landlord, or tenant would be happy too! Thanks Green Earth! read more

Alright, these boys are doing God's work and all and it is amazing, their chemicals are being real friendly to the environment and not killing things that don't need to be killed. All I'm saying is, we got it done a while ago, and we didn't notice much of a difference. You know, you appreciate them getting' all up in your house outside and finding ant hills, but like they didn't find some of the pest areas that are causing some of them still. So, I like these folks after all! I am a testy, cantankerous thing at times, but I admit when I am wrong. These folks are so honest that they told me I actually need a different service than I thought I did (a colony of spiders in an overgrown tree), and did not lie to me or try and convince me they could help me and take my business and waste my money. After 2 treatments for fleas, which they said would eliminate both fleas and and eggs, we still have fleas. We have no outdoor animals and live on a 4th floor condo. I just called and spoke with Kerry.I told him my daughter believes her cat has fleas and asked about coming to exterminate it. Rather than just selling me the whole show, he gave me very specific steps to take to verify number one it was fleas, and next to get rid of the fleas and the eggs immediately preventing them from reproducing. He said if you take the stops and you still need me I'll be happy to help you and let me know that it's up 2 visit process so not inexpensive and a lot of work on behalf of the pet owner. This is based on not actually hiring them, but the service being so good I wish I had! I went out to my garage last week and found hundreds of dead bugs on the fllor. I freaked out, but with a new baby I wanted natural pest control. I picked this place and sent a picture in of the dead bugs. I got a very prompt reply from an employee telling me they consulted an entymologist and that they couldn't help me: the bugs were crustaceans, not insects at all! It was a rare occurrence in southern California, due to the overwhelming amount of rain. That's why they had to call an expert. Hearing I had crabs in my back office was not the best thing to hear (har har), but they are harmless and not exteriminatable and will go away with the drying out of the soil around my house. The employee gave me great advice on how to prevent it in the future, weatherproofing my garage and turning the soil around to dry it out faster. Upshot I got great service even though they made no money off me. Will definitely use them in the future if I have actual insect problems! read more

I never leave reviews but these guys were amazing! They were so nice on the phone and the guy that showed up was on time and so friendly. It was really non invasive and I didn't have to worry about having all my kids toys and stuff around and getting chemicals on it.
