Vincent did an excellent job! He came into our home in the middle of a remodel. Our sub floors weren't even in at the time and my old system was completely removed for abatement purposes. Basically starting from scratch all my duct work, boots, vents everything were replaced. He even went as far as servicing my current ac unit and heating system to make sure we were being efficient with our usage. My new system is much more efficient then it ever was before. Especially the ac the house now gets several degrees cooler than it did before. That was huge for me. The heat doesn't run nearly as much that's a big plus as well. There are not enough words to say how great the service was that Vincent provided. 4pm I get home and it is 102º and it is 86º in the house and the AC is not working. We live near the SF Bay. Our home had a central heating system but no central air conditioning. With recent wildfires and air quality issues, we wanted to add central air conditioning. Was having a Problem with AC condenser not shutting off, looked through a a bunch of reviews on Yelp as is my normal protocol came across GREEN MECHANICS who happened to be in Fremont where I live gave him a call and a text and he ended up responding very nice fellow by the name of Vincent Dias, generally at this time of year with the Heat Wave and all the people having problems with their HVACs I figured it was going to be a couple days yet Vince was able to squeeze me in for a look see, diagnose the problem, told me the parts I need to order, gave me a quote, ended up getting the parts which surprised me cuz of the supply chain issues these days and was done the next day! Problem solved, he ended up cleaning my unit and giving me some real good information on maintenance and answered all my questions super nice guy very knowledgeable very passionate about his work easy to work with, good communications. My 50 year old furnace blew up without warning on Tuesday and Vincent was there the next day right after work. He did a very thorough inspection of both furnace and duct and determined the unit was well and truly deceased. He also noted and cleaned up some asbestos that was exposed; he would not leave until that had been taken care of, despite the fact it was well into the evening. He got me a quote the next morning and squeezed me into his schedule on Friday. The quote was quite reasonable and he showed up on time and was very conscientious bout working cleanly and leaving the space cleaner that he found it. He also did not leave until he had fully tested the unit and found it satisfactory. I would highly recommend him for professionalism and responsiveness. read more

This review is overdue. A few years ago Vince come out and install an AC. Not only were his prices reasonable - He was extremely professional, patient and thorough in making sure the unit was installed properly. About a year after the install, something malfunctioned in the unit and it wasn't cooling anymore. We called Vince and he came out the next day and fixed it for us. He dealt with the company regarding the warranty and everything. It was totally hassle free. Anyways, I recently moved and called Vince to see if we could have the AC removed to take with us.
