Delicious noodle plates served with mock chicken and their unsweet iced tea. Good food, good price prices, served fresh and hot. You can't ask for any more than that.

I really love stopping here whenever I'm passing through Phoenix and if I can afford the time. This restaurant has been around for a while and I've seen a girl from one to two places. It's one of my favorite for a quick junk food bite, I'm no longer vegan fully, but I don't do dairy in certain things so this is such a wonderful option. This time around, I got the big whack, and imitation of the big Mac burger done vegan style. It's one of my favorite to indulge in and I also grabbed a dessert to go and a drink. Something that I really love is that I offer dairy free blizzard like drinks in their next-door Nami sister sweet shop. The service is always wonderful, I love the space, and I'm always ready to go back for more.

I travel too much not to share my food finds. I tend to eat more "Vegan" options than anything else. Even so I think so many people are missing out by not giving it a try, especially when there's some amazing options. Today I found a gem. Today I am hungry, so I tried several things. Buffalo chicken 10 out of 10. A nice little kick to the sauce and the bite (chew) was spot on. Crab puffs, highly recommend. One of those dishes, if you didn't tell them, they wouldn't know. And then there's the Golden Curry- SPEECHLESS. My palate was satisfied and my belly is full. Next time you feel open minded and adventurous- Give em a try!!

Green is a very casual, counter ordering, lively spot right on 7th. I pulled into the wrong parking lot because the sign outside is hard to read. I was worried there wouldn't be enough parking because initially the lot looked really small but once you turn around the corner there are plenty of spots behind the sister restaurant Nami. My friend and I grabbed some menus and sat at a table to peruse before we headed up to the counter to order. The menu is pretty extensive, and there are so many choices for a vegan! It is always nice to be able to select anything from the menu because as a pescatarian (mainly vegetarian) there are usually only a couple of items on the menu to choose from!! So it is a hard decision because everything sounds soooo good. I ended up selecting the BFF and my friend got the "My Green Tangerine". Everything comes a la carte and I guess I didn't realize that because I really wanted fries or a side salad but I had already paid so I just went with the sammy (Plus we decided to go next door to Nami for dessert so I wanted to save some room!). The chkn in the BFF was pretty thick and made it almost too difficult to eat but as I got into it it was delicious and I didn't care that my hands were messy and I had to take big bites. The "My Green Tangerine" had super yummy glazed nuggies -- the sauce was a bit sweet for my taste but a bite with the noodles, the nuggies and the broccoli was very satisfying! The only reason I gave it 4 was that my margarita (yes they have drinks!!) tasted a little off -- I think because it had bubbles in it? Something -- but I was impressed that you can get several different rims with your marg like tajine. I think I would try a different drink next time. And oh yes there will be a next time, like I said there are so many options to try.

Now this place knows how to do vegan burgers. My go-to is the secret menu Lil Wac -- gluten-free, a 100/10 perfectly satisfying meal, even though they switch up the GF bun sometimes. The Big Wac gives McDonald's a run for its' money too, but I'm not into the middle bun and need GF anyway. Skip the ranchero 'wind salad' and go straight for the platter -- that's where the magic is. The bbq, buffalo, and the best of the 3: honey jalapeño are amazing (sweet with just the slightest kick), the other two wing flavors were only okay for me. Nachos are good, but ask for extra cheese -- it takes them over the top to live up to the name. The Damn Dan noodles are flavorful but a lot of gluten. Friendly youthful servers and vibes. Watch their specials because there are some fingerlicking gems time to time. Everything here is so delicious especially with Nami next door. If you're reading this, stop scrolling and just go eat here already. 070125

Green New American Vegetarian is our go to vegan restaurant when we eat out! I have brought my Mom and other normies who are not about the plant based lifestyle and they always leave in shock that they consumed something delicious that did not come from an animal. The Big WAC is Green's gateway drug to get you hooked on everything they offer! Give this small business a shot. You will not leave disappointed!!!

    Chicago Cheesesteak

Amazing vegan food with many options for sweet and savory comfort foods. The wings are worth a two hour drive from Tucson. They are crispy and drenched in buffalo sauce, served with a side of ranch dip. The Degobah salad is also a great side and comes covered with large, roasted Brussel sprouts and a jerk sauce for dressing. I also got to try the Big Wac and Chicago Cheesesteak, both solid choices for your main. I only wish I had enough room for a milkshake.

Employees Only! Looks like I'm going to have to get a job here & come back to post the 2nd floor. I'll be right back!

This is how you do vegan/ vegetarian without scaring off the carnivorous. The menu is exciting & even entertaining to read. The staff is loving & patient. They won't turn their nose up at you because you are wearing leather boots. This more than inviting, environmentally conscious eatery/ pub will wet your whistle & show you something new without harming any animals. They are fun right down to the Ice Cube machine. Yay-e-yayee! Come check it out & let it become one of your new favorite spots, even if you are an omnivore like me. Peace!

One of my favorite spots to grab vegan food. They have so many options to choose from. I love the atmosphere and everyone is always so nice here. The parking lot is a bit small and can be busy but they usually get you in and out. The quality of the food is like no other. I love bringing my family here. Great vegan options.

I had my husband go in to order my usual, and he was told there would now be an extra charge for the meat substitution and cheeze, which is totally fine, no problem there. But then he was told, "if you don't like it, that's on you since you're changing the recipe." That kind of comment completely killed the vibe, and he ended up not ordering. I figured maybe it was just a misunderstanding, so I went in myself the next day to order. Everything was going smoothly until a woman came out of the kitchen to provide that same warning, again emphasizing that if I didn't like it, it would be on me. I understand the upcharge and I completely get that modifications are final sale, that's pretty standard. I've never returned food or had an issue like that before. That said, the repeated warning just felt unnecessary and honestly a bit off-putting. It took away from the overall experience at a place I've always enjoyed. I still got my burrito (and it was great as usual), but just a heads up, if you make any modifications, be prepared for a very firm disclaimer. It might just catch you off guard like it did for me.

She recommended a fantastic vegan spot called Tacos Veganos; and it blow us away. Yes, everything is VEGAN, including the meats! We ordered three different meat tacos: pork, chicken, and beef. I opted for the taco de papo, which was an incredibly delicious combination of potatoes, cabbage, and a sauce made from cashews. It was deep-fried, which added a unique texture to the dish. The chicken taco was my favorite. It was fantastic once I dipped it into the red magic compote. The beef taco had an aftertaste, but that's just a personal preference. Ana, who's a native of Mexico, said the same thing about the tacos. I was skeptical at first, but she was right. These tacos are so good that sometimes the substitute is better than the real thing. I was glad we got there when we did because shortly after we put our order in there was a line almost to the door. It is counter service so you kind of need to know what you are getting and everything looks so yummy it was super hard to decide. I got the AZ burrito with birria, which is made with jackfruit. It's meant to be like pulled pork. It was huge and very messy. They tortilla was very rubbery but the filling was good and I think there were French fries in there? Maybe that is what makes it an AZ burrito? Overall the flavor was good but it needed something else like beans or guac. It just tasted very one note. Also I got the horchata. It was delicious. My mom got the surf and turf taco. Again the tortilla was tough to eat so she got a fork and a plate and tore into it. This one had the "asada" soy steak and then breaded and fried pieces of cauliflower. The fake meat was not that good. It was too salty and so was the rice. The cauliflower although tasty was so big it was hard to eat. Overall it was good but not as amazing as I had wanted it to be. I likely won't go out of my way to come back.

The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal.
