I was introduced to Gregorys Coffee by yelper Marianne W, a yelper out of New York who visited, reviewed and posted pictures of items that it offers. Once I noted its location being very close to my hotel in Midtown West, it became a must visit for me. I chose and made my way to this cafe which sat no more than .2 miles in distance from my hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton New York - Times Square West. I ended up ordering the Vegan Burrito along with a Olipop Classic Grape as my drink. I never hesitate ordering online via yelp because it is convenient! Most of the time my orders are completed upon my arrival or near complete. By the time I arrived at Gregorys Coffee my Olipop Classic Grape was waiting for me behind the counter; and the Vegan Burrito was completed shortly after. There was no verification for picking up my order, but my items were clearly labeled with my name and the platform I ordered off of. I am always grateful to have a smooth online ordering experience because the likelihood of me ordering online again is very high. My first response after the first bite of the Vegan Burrito was "Mmmm, that is good!" which had a taste that I will crave once again. And I would have certainly been open to ordering another before catching the subway to John F. Kennedy International Airport the day I flew out of New York; it was that delicious, * chef's kiss *. Needless to say that I had a great experience, as I have clearly indicated in this review of Gregorys Coffee. I would surely order from again whenever staying in the Midtown West area. And as Marianne W shared the goodness of this cafe, I share my endorsement of it as well with you all. Ambiance: 5 | Service: 5 | Food: 5 ~Have courage. Be Kind. ~ Thomas G

Hot and delicious. Just what I needed!

The barista was amazingly relaxed and patient on a sleepy Saturday morning when I staggered in. At the same time the other team member was getting those pastries set for us hungry peeps! The peanut butter banana power bite was just right for a little breakfast pre-game. Tunes were great! Bright and relaxed atmosphere. Love love love it!

Not a coffee drinker but Came here for a quick lunch since they have an egg white sandwich. They have a few breakfast sandwiches on their menu, including vegan options with vegan egg and beyond meat. They also have several pastry items. I've tried their chocolate chip cookie and their blueberry muffin. $5 might seem hefty for one baked good but the cookies are really chunky and the muffins are also pretty big. I haven't tried any of their drinks. I thought my sandwich was tasty, and for $8, it's a good value (albeit more expensive than Dunkin or Starbucks). When I came to pick up my order, I decided to stay to do some work for a little bit. They have free open wifi. There aren't too many tables but they have some countertops with seating too. They don't have a bathroom for customers if you do choose to stay for a while though. Overall the volume level was pretty quiet except for the employees calling out orders. It a cool spot to change up my working environment. Nothing fancy but a cool coffee chain.

Gregory is one of my favorite coffee in the city. The vegan options are excellent. I tried something new today, the vegan burrito- only because they were out of my favorite, vegan deluxe croissant. The manager Amy, behind the counter, suggested to try it with guacamole, and that made all the difference. Amy was very sweet and informed me that the owner is also a vegan and that's why vegan dishes are so delicious! Good to know! Now I always order iced Americano with chocolate, but it's freezing outside today and I had to order Americano with chocolate. It's good too. There's always folks working on their laptops in Gregorys ! It can be a little loud but the food is always good!! Pretty quick also. I definitely recommend this spot and will return soon.

Solid shop with a steady flow of customers when I arrived at 8:15am. Got a medium roast hot latte and was made just right. A decent amount of seating since most people are grabbing and going.

Gregory's Coffee is so very very popular. I've been to one location several times. I decided to search it out today during my travels. Their pastries are not run of the mill like some coffee shops. They have delicious varieties not found elsewhere. The line today was long but they work as fast as they can. The employees are always welcoming. The service speed depends on the time of day. Some locations have outside seating which I enjoy in cool weather. At this location they check vaccination status when you pay if you tell them you want to sit inside. There's lots of people with laptops that aren't budging from their seats. I'm recommending you visit a Gregory's Coffee when you see one. It's a nice break from the hectic city streets. They have a neighborhood cafe atmosphere. The coffee is good!

If you are on your way to or from Port Authority just a few blocks down on 8th Ave you can stop by and get a good coffee and other refreshers! If you have last minute project to be completed on your laptop you can sit down there and do it as well!

Bustling coffee shop with friendly folks helping out the clientele. Not too noisy and definitely without the corporate Starbucks vibe. A neighborhood place. Lots of CBD stuff - a trend we can only hope becomes less of a thing. Quite an assortment of baked goods. I had a cold brew and avocado toast. Cold brew was slightly acidic and will hold up to dairy (I just didn't have any). The avocado toast was good, not very rye bread with lots of thickness and heft plus a generous spread-glop of avocado topped with some notable chili spice that just might be a morning surprise for some.

Discovered Gregory's today and fell in love immediately. From the moment you walk in, you know this place is gonna be good. Bakery items made from scratch on-site. Yummy. The coffee is legit. Take from this coffee snob. You won't be disappointed. Price wise it's similar to Starbucks but is better than Starbucks. The quality of the coffee and the homemade bakery items are just so much better. There is some seating but not a ton. Friendly staff also made it easy to fall in love with this spot. I'm going back tomorrow!

Matcha was ok. I think this is how most of them taste but I wish this drink came sweeter & creamer.

Went to this cute little shop and ordered a Iced Caramel Macchiato and Coffee Crumb Cake. The Caramel Macchiato was too sweet and the coffee cake was too hard. It was nice but do not recommend.

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

The generous serving had creamy, silky layers and was easily enough for the two of us to share. Sweet, light, and refreshing. Plenty of seating, generous portions, and a stop here never disappoints! Located on 32nd St, between Broadway & 5th Ave Train: 34 St-Herald Sq (N/Q/R/W); also an easy walk from Penn Station. Overall, a great casual dessert stop after exploring K-Town, Midtown or nearby Chelsea.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.

The sponge and cream cheese had a subtle black sesame flavor. It reminded me of the cream in their black sesame einspanner. *Mugwort Ssal Cake $16.5 * This one was surprisingly rich.
