Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

This place looked nice upon enterance, and I am always trying to find someplace other than starbucks to grab a quick coffee just to see what other places have to offer...but the coffee was sub par, and the service was as well. They had my coffee out within minutes but without the milk that I had asked for and it was sort of a real "do it yourself" kind of place. I sat their for a little in the air conditioning which was nice as they have a good amount of seating area. The coffee really tasted off and I wasn't able to finish it, which is shocking for me. I'm the first?! Woohoo! But it's been here already a few weeks now. Solid espresso, lots of pastries even if I'm not a big fan of what I've tried so far. Odds are, you've already tried other locations so I don't need to convince you. Favorite coffee shop in the area, much better than Starbucks. Too many Starbucks around here!!! Omg, every block has at least 1 or 2. Damn Times Square. :-( Plus the app is really nice. I've gotten $5-6 for free with offers in the past month. I could honestly say I am addicted to Gregory's I have been going to there 24th and Park location for almost 2 years now and have become such a fan. After drinking there coffee I can't even imagine going anywhere else. I even their ground coffee blend to bring home to my mother during the holidays and everyone loved it. I never realized how different coffee could taste until I tried Gregorys Aside from coffee their shops offer healthy and unique foods and amazing pastries- I am in love with their croissants. I love Gregory's. I don't know who this Gregory guy is, but he deserves a hug. I'm so tired of coffee shops where the coffee is the worst thing on the menu and black coffee means ash-filled coffee. Gregory's coffee is consistently delicious. I have tried some of the other flavored items, and they are also quite good. I really like the snacks they have as well. The carrot cake coffee cake thing is awesome because it almost feels healthy. Read the descriptions on the foods and you'll feel great about what you're eating. read more

Very surprised to find anyone give less than 5 stars to this place. I come twice a day m-f. I get my single origin pour over in the morning and my double espresso in the afternoon. I have group meetings here every friday afternoon and didn't take long to convert my whole office to be 'gregulars'. I wish there were more tables but i guess space is limited. Staff is uber friendly and haven't found many coffee places in Ny that hold a candle to gregorys. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Maria Camilla, who has worked there nearly as long as Dereck. Her customer service has been disappointing for quite some time, and many of the moms who were once consistent customers have slowly stopped coming because of it. She usually works alongside a short, light-skinned male coworker, and the service from the two of them has been consistently slow and inattentive. On December 4th at 11:30 PM, I walked into an empty café. I placed my order around 11:40 PM, yet didn't receive my coffee and my son's hot chocolate until 11:47 PM. There was no line, my photos show the café was completely empty. Instead, both employees were talking and laughing in Spanish, walking to the back repeatedly, and taking a long time to even acknowledge I was waiting. This isn't the first time this has happened; getting decent service from them has become a mission. To make matters worse, the cashier ignored me when I said soy milk, then asked me to pay twice because he forgot to ring it correctly the first time. Again, this is with no customers, no rush, and no reason for the lack of attention. What makes this even more disappointing is that the location itself is absolutely gorgeous. The interior design is cozy, inviting, and beautifully done, the owner truly did an amazing job creating a warm, stylish atmosphere. It's a place you want to enjoy, especially during the holiday season. I genuinely recommend this location because of its ambiance and Dereck's outstanding service. But I also strongly hope to see a more friendly and attentive staff, particularly around the holidays when customers look forward to comfort, kindness, and a good experience. With another coffee shop opening directly across the street soon, these improvements are more important than ever. One of the items upset my stomach shortly afterward, though I can't say for certain which caused it. Combined with the mediocre service and lackluster food, it wasn't worth the visit. I won't be returning.
