New look was nice, kind of sterile. Four drinks at the bar with tip was $80. Four people for dinner, 2 of us had 2 appetizers as our main course , 2 of us had a main course. Caesar salads were very heavy on the anchovies. A bit overwhelming. Short rib appetizer was very tough , sauce was good. Mussel appetizer was fair at best, they almost seemed undercooked. Sauce was not very flavorful and a very small portion. Other guest had the cod and enjoyed it. Also ,the Cornish game hen was described as blah. Not a fan. The decor has a very "designed by TJ Maxx Homegoods" vibe. Very cold and cheaply put together. There's even a shelf with a couple ornamental books, lol. The food is overpriced and badly executed. Particularly terrible was the charcuterie, which is little more than a $5 Tops cheese and meat plate. Boring. The braised short rib was small and tough -- I needed to cut it with a knife. Also, strange -- I asked if the steak du jour came with a sauce and was told it didn't. They lost a sale instead of taking two minutes to deglaze a pan. Very amateurish effort. read more

Came to celebrate my birthday!!! ...what a wonderful treat! From the hostess to the waitress to the bussers, everyone was friendly and professional. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great vibe. But the food...that's what will keep you coming back! We had a few appetizers to start: the Brussel sprouts bruschetta, the meatball, the truffle mac & cheese and the arugula salad. Thank goodness we shared everything so I had room the pork Milanese-it was huge!!! ...and had the perfect amount of crispness and juiciness! The service was the best I've seen for a very long time. Everything that the 4 of us ordered was incredible. The best Brussel sprouts and cauliflower. My husband said his steak was perfect and my friend loved the salmon. My oysters were supposed to be served with dinner not as an appetizer but they arrived. Before I could say anything the waitress was there to remedy the situation. My kids will be getting gift certificates from here as Christmas gifts. The Hostess Aaliyah was wonderful. She complimented my hair as soon as we walked in not knowing I had lost it to an illness and it was just growing back that made the evening that much more special. Thank you. We tried out Grezi's on Thursday night of their opening week and had a nice experience. We were seated early and warmly welcomed. We particularly liked the brussels sprout bruschetta as a starter. The smash burger was good, but it had a little bit of a spice to it that I didn't particularly love. Similarly, the pork Milanese had an anise taste to it. Overall, it was good, and I am excited to go back and try more items. The inside was beautifully remodeled, offering a modern, clean aesthetic. The cocktails were excellent but pricey at $15.00 each. Our server was nice, but she didn't check on us once after the food came. I had to ask multiple times for a new napkin, and when my husband asked to order another round of drinks, she responded by walking away. She also looked completely befuddled when we asked about substituting potatoes in place of the polenta with the pork. I'm sure it was just opening week jitters, because she was very kind. In sum, I am very happy to have this addition to Main Street and can't wait to see it evolve. read more

Met friends for lunch. The service was good. The interior is very pleasant and they had parking in the back. Two of us ordered the salmon burger with a side of fries. For the most part, it tasted good.....a little lacking with the spice that was supposed to be there. We thought it would be too much, but you could hardly taste it. After leaving my friend and I both started getting sick and that lasted for two days. Called the Restaurant to reported it. They never even took our phone number. They did say they would talk to the chef who was on that day blah blah blah and said sorry. I would expect a higher end Restaurant would make sure they took your name and number. Another at our table had the sausage gravy over biscuits. Except, it was toast, not biscuits and the toast was burnt. There should be fresh fruit offerings for brunch. Cocktails were good. As others have said, perhaps we should have tried for dinner instead of brunch. Don't think it is worth another attempt. Have 3 stars for service and cleanliness. read more

I will say that I liked the food I ordered...I stuck to just a couple apps. Nothing on the entree list appealed to me. I had the bruschetta and truffle Mac and cheese. Both very good. And a salad that was layered, can't remember the name but it was also very good. The prices were high. And service was good. Drinks are pricey. This restaurant is in my neighborhood and am disappointed it is so "fancy". We used to go to the previous restaurant often with our family. Celebrated the holidays with colleagues for lunch. Sean provided excellent service ; friendly , professional and knowledgeable. His recommendations were excellent and we enjoyed tuna tartar, Hot Mama shrimp and wings before our entrees- all were excellent. Orders included the fried chicken sandwich, tenderloin flatbread and smash burger . We were all blown away by the presentation and great quality. Up in Buffalo to pick up daughter and we stopped by here later for bar fare and drinks, which were fantastic. So much so that we came back the next night for dinner. The decor of the place is open and airie and bright, but intimate at the same time. The burgers and fries on the bar menu were great, second to none, with a slightly spicy tomato relish and rich aioli. The next night we went with a nicely appointed charcuterie board for apps which was not overwhelming or too filling. For dinner we shared the hanger steak and chimichurri sauce and the tuna tartare. Both were extremely tasteful and yummy. The cocktails all were expertly made and delicious. Lastly, can't say enough about the staff, bartenders, wait staff were attentive and friendly to all, we felt as warmly welcomed and appreciated as the regulars that were present as well. Went with a friend for a birthday dinner. We had a 5:00 reservation, but got there early while they were changing from lunch to dinner menus in the kitchen so we hung out at the bar. The cocktail menu is amazing - it was actually created by the bartenders so there's a great variety of different types of drinks and we enjoyed all of them. We started with the lamb app, went to the cornish hen and duck, and finished off with the lemon cake. All of it was amazing - the duck was a tad over for my taste, but at that point I was just being nit picky and I know it. Yes the meals are higher priced, but for the quality of food plus the portion sizes it's well worth it. The service was great. Loved our bartender, and our waitress was attentive and not intrusive in the slightest. She had a great sense of when we were chatting and when she could come and chat with us. 10/10, I hope this restaurant stays around for a really long time. (PS - they have a parking lot so you don't have to squeeze in on the street!!) read more

After seeing Grezi on Instagram I had high hopes. I was sadly disappointed. Although the ambience is pleasant, the food VASTLY missed the mark. It also seems they do not listen to their guests food requests concerning allergies. I had the burger and my wife had the lamb lollipops with a side of broccolini. The burger was average. Honestly, Mister Sizzles makes a far better burger at way less cost. With my wife, she asked specifically for no onions in the farro salad due to an allergy, yet the meal came out reeking of onions. After tasting it myself, it indeed still had onions. It was inedible for her. The lamb was so over seasoned that after two small lollipops you couldn't bear to eat anymore. The broccolini wasn't just charred, but burnt. All you could taste was the char. Take a note from Inizio and The Grange on how to prepare broccolini. After all of this, the restaurant only took off the $8 burnt broccolini from the bill. Confident to say, we won't be back. read more

So delicious! Went there for dinner on a weeknight. I had the duck and shared some appetizers including the burrata and the bread basket. Yum! The duck was so perfectly cooked and the skin was crispy. I also had a side of broccolini which was cooked to perfection. This will be on my list of places to return to while visiting Buffalo again! read more
