Food is fresh and fully stocked, there is a deal on halo halo that you can't pass. Great place for a quick bite after shopping and a variety of favorites here.

Bought buko pandan and it had a metal wire in it. Luckily it was in my bowl not my kids.

Sunday funday at Grill City. Doing our 2wk Filipino run @ Seafood City and came early for late breakfast. They ran out of fried rice but that's okay, reg rice is good too. We ended up with the 'Grand Wow Silog Promo'. Buy 2 Get One Free. We got the Baby Bangus, Sweet Longanisa, Chicken Tocino. The service was good, the lady taking our orders was friendly. Food was good. Eating area clean.

Service was horrible, the lady had 0 patience when we just asked simple questions. The skewers are half the size of what it used to be. The skewer used to extend to the foil wrap, now it's half of it. $5 for a skewer that's THAT mini? The chicken sauce also tasted too sweet and more ketchupy than usual. No thanks. Will not come back. Pancit also tasted bad.

I really enjoy the pork and chicken grilled skewers with barbecue sauce. Also, in my humble opinion, they have the best vegetables lumpia's in Orange County.

I like their chicken adobo and sinigang, I'm not a true Filipino LOL, but TO ME, it's good :) The service is sometimes really slow here, and the titas take their time - but I'm glad there is a place like this near to me for a quick grab and go, otherwise I'm not too fond of driving out to Cerritos just for these items lol. I need more Filipinos in my life! Haha!

I came in to get some skewers. I got two pork, and two chicken. I also got langanisa. For a food court setting everything was pretty good. The langanisa could have used a little spice. There's plenty of seating in the food court, and lots of parking. Service is fast too

The hours never really worked with our schedule either being from 8:30 am to 2 pm. We started off with the Ube Sweet Cream Cold Brew ($7) and Pandan Cold Brew ($7). My bf absolutely loved the ube cold brew and said it was probably the best he's ever had. He loved it so much that he got another one to-go after we finished our meal so that was a rare occurrence lol. The ube flavor was strong even after everything was mixed together. Smooth, creamy and tasty. My pandan cold brew was also pretty good. Usually I feel like pandan is difficult to get a real robust flavor and you end up tasting more coffee than pandan. I could actually taste the vanilla/nutty notes and coconut flavor. Also very yummy after mixing it all together. Cold brew flavor did end up coming out stronger tho but I somewhat expect that. We ordered the Adobo Rice Omelet ($14.95 - Chicken-adobo garlic rice wrapped in a three egg omelet, topped with adobo gravy, fried garlic & scallions) - This was really tasty and kind of heavy for me. Sooo much rice under the omelette bed lol. I was beyond stuffed and couldn't take another bite at the end and ended up packing like 2 bites in a small box. My bf ordered the Jeepney Breakfast Burrito ($14 - Crispy golden potatoes, melted cheese, chipotle aoli, scrambled eggs. Your choice of meat, served with a side of pork chicharron and Sinigang Salsa verde) - This was soo delicious. The chicharron side was a great crunch and sinigang salsa verde with the burrito made it even better. It was over the top for our bellies already with the heavy breakfast, but I still insisted that we try a regular breakfast item like french toast. Ordered the Ube Fruity Pebble French Toast ($16.95) and it was yummy! I definitely needed more fruity pebbles but that's my preference. Staff was friendly and prompt. The place was packed and I had joined the waitlist online prior to coming. Waited less than 10 min when we actually arrived. I also loved the decorations everywhere with the foliage, light fixtures and even the ceiling fans. The Tagalog vocab on the chalkboard is also fun to read and learn. I like that there's still a modern feel to the place.

Absolutely insane. We went in yesterday, and while the surprisingly short wait times to be seated…read moreand get our food weren't concerning at first, receiving our meals literally about three minutes after ordering definitely raised some questions. The food unfortunately tasted like it had been premade and sitting for a while. The eggs wrapped around the omelette were tough and chewy rather than fresh and fluffy. The French toast itself actually tasted good, but it was absolutely drenched in ube sauce--to the point that it basically turned into French mush. The loaded potatoes were probably the biggest disappointment. The bacon had been cooked to death and was so hard it was difficult to eat, while the tater tots somehow had the opposite problem and were completely mushy. This place has the potential to be a great restaurant, but the food quality was highly disappointing, especially considering how quickly everything came out. I will give credit where it's due, though: the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service couldn't make up for the quality of the food.

The inside of the restaurant looks like it may have been recently updated ~ it's nicely arranged with a good amount of seating. Orders are placed at the counter and your food is brought to your table when it's ready. Since it was our first visit, the lady at the front was happy to answer our questions and make suggestions. Everything is freshly made to order, so be prepared for a short wait. Plates come with a cup of egg drop soup (which came up piping hot and was very flavorful) that is served to be enjoyed while you wait for your main dish. My foodie friend ordered a fish dish with the Java rice. I chose the beef rib plate and also went with the Java rice. Siopao was a new featured item and apparently they're known for their bibingka, so I added those as well because at this point, why not right? While my friend enjoyed her fish, she said it could have used more seasoning and she wished that she didn't have to pick out the bones. My beef ribs were SOOOO good!! And the Java rice had a really nice flavor that went perfectly with the ribs. Since we had so much food, we split the siopao (a steamed pork bun), and I can't even begin to describe the bibingka ~ it was rich and delicious, with a slightly sweet & creamy filling. I'd have to have another one to better describe its flavor more accurately. I'm so glad to have discovered Tony's! I can't wait to go back!!!

The place was buzzin on Saturday afternoon which I immediately took as a good sign. It was an extremely hot day (cue Cali heat wave) and standing inside the restaurant didn't help. No AC and hot open kitchen made for a sweaty time. Ordered an Ai Pono Poke bowl and Roots plate to-go. Our total was $38 between the two items. Got home in about 25 mins and immediately dug in. For a $16 poke bowl, I guess I was expecting a bit more fish. Also, the rice had a sour ish taste (according to me). The Roots plate quantity was solid but the short rib was very chewy. Definitely a preference thing but chewy short rib is not my jam. The flavors were good though. There wasn't much of a service aspect to our experience cause we took our meal to go. Unfortunately was a bit disappointed as the food didn't hit the mark but very open to trying again in the future.
